1 The Elite Hero

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Groaning

Looking at his phone, "what the hell? Another monster attacking C.24? That's the fourth time this week man", not wanting to get out of bed, Yang sat where he was for another ten minutes.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

"Oh MAH GAWD! I get it!", yelling, Yang finally got out of bed.

-Twenty Minutes Later-

*Closing in on C.24*

Yang feels his phone vibrating; answering it, "where are you?! You were supposed to be at C.24 TEN MINUTES AGO!!", "Jeez, can you relax a bit Executive Pete? It's still early in the morning and I can't handle all this yelling." Without waiting for Executive Pete to finish yelling, Yang ended the call and finally arrived at C.24.

Upon arriving, Yang could see that many blocks were already destroyed, and a gargantuan figure in the distance could be seen fighting various heroes.

"Hmm, doesn't seem too difficult to handle, why would they need me when they already have three heroes fighting that giant thing?" Not understanding why he was called in, Yang was about to leave when he heard someone yell, "That's Emperor Abyss, ranked 5th among all heroes!".

*Sighing*

"Come to think of it, this hero thing is stupid and i'm kind of done with it..hmm, maybe i'll let Assistant Beatrice know that i'm leaving" whilst talking to himself, the battle in the background was escalating.

"ROAR!" an ear splitting roar could be heard originating from the gargantuan being.

"Jeez dude, you don't have to yell THAT loud", a look of irritation appeared on Yang's face.

Flying over to where the battle was occurring, Yang asked one of the heroes that was knocked back, "What's taking you guys so damn long to deal with this gorilla?"

"Ugh, goddamn my ribs hurt", the hero said to himself as he climbed out of the building he was knocked into.

Upon hearing Yang's words, the hero turned around, "OH SHIT! IT'S YOU! I'm a big fan of your work Mr.Emperor Abyss." Quickly taking out a notepad from his pocket, the hero with an excited face, "Will you please sign this?"

"Uh, I don't really know if this is the appropriate time..but..sure!" quickly signing the notepad and giving it back to the hero, Yang asked his previous question once again, "So, what's taking you three so long to finish that gorilla?"

"Uh, uhh, i-i'm sorry, i'm just so excited to meet you sir!", a dazed and admiring look appeared on the young hero's face.

SLAP!

"Get your head together, I asked you a question!" seeing that Yang was slowly losing his patience, the young hero answered quickly, "It's taking us forever because that gorilla may not seem like much but he's actually quite dangerous. On the MTL scale(Monster Threat Scale), that gorilla would definitely have a threat level of C+." Although looking quite tired, after the hero said this he started running towards the gorilla.

But then Yang suddenly stopped him, "Hold up, tell your friends to retreat and let me handle it. You guys in the mean time go and save the citizens that are still trapped."

The hero's mouth fell open, "I get to witness the great Emperor Abyss fight in person?!", feeling quite astonished, the hero quickly talked into his earpiece. Minutes later, the other two hero had managed to barely retreat.

"We leave the rest to you Emperor Abyss", a hero in green nodded to Yang.

Thinking to himself, "Dang, I haven't stretched this morning", Yang looking directly at the giant gorilla, "You're fine with me stretching first right?"

*ROAR*

"I'll take that as a yes then."
