3 Fragment 2.5: Departure

[The twof them awake, both not really tired or anything. They stand up but can't seem to find anyone. They decide to leave the room for now]

They now find the others. After the other kids calm down, they ask them how long they were unconcious and get the same answer from everyone: Around 5 minutes. They get confused and seek for the elder. They find him teaching the swordsmanship class. They wait for an opportunity and in the break they talk to him.

C:" Hello elder."

E:" Hello Celi! So what's wrong? You've never shown interest in the sword."

C:" You know about how we fainted?"

E:" Obviously. I know everything that happens within this Orphanage. I told you about my magic"

R:" We thought you were just trying to scare us from joking around too much"

E:" Partly, but it's indeed true i see everything here. So, i guess there was something happening during your coma?"

R:" Yes, how would you know?"

E:" You two just woke up. What else should've happened?"*Elderly laugh, coughs*

C:" Well... We were not exactly in a coma. We got pulled into a dream world by Mirabelle"

E:" ...Did you tell the others yet?"

R:" No, but why?"

E:" I want to minimize the risk for you two. You are too important to be stopped by human envy."

C:" Wait, you believe us?"

E:" Yes. I've always known there was something different with you two. I also knew it wasn't anything bad and as I knew about Mirabelles plan from the start-"

R:" You knew about Mirabelle?"

E:" Yes, every elder in this orphanage does. We know everything we need to know, to protect the species and especially those, who keep the peace."

R:" Seems like a hard job"

E:" Only if there is trouble. But that all aside, we need to get you out of this lands as quickly as possible. I'm going to prepare luggage and supplies for your journey. You two will leave us tomorrow. Celi, I will show you where to go on the map. But you probably will get help by other races too, so don't follow it too strictly."

C:" And what can we do?"

E:" Go rest. It will be a long day."

[Ryu and Cecilia go to their room and relax a bit. They talk, play games and after a few hours they go to sleep.]

[The next morning]

R:" Cecilia wake up. We need to go."

C:" Uhh? Ryu you're awake?"

R:" Yes and you aren't. Get up."

C:" Fine."

[They dress up and get ready. They leave their room and meet the elder at the entrance. They get the directions and say bye to everyone. The elder and cynthia have tears in their eyes, but just quietly wave]

Cecilia leads the way through the forest they fainted in and soon they get out of the parts they know. They start to walk more slowly and less steadily, look around more - as the forest get darker and darker. After a while Cecilia is too scared to lead and Ryu takes over the map. He stays near her, but they progress more fastly again. Not long after they leave the forest and suddenly there is no darkness near. They turn around, but the forest got replaced by a rather big black cube. Then Ryu hears Cecilia gasping and turns around again. He looks at the scenery for quite some time, unable to speak. There is nothing but flowers. A beatiful plain field consisting of different flowers, working together like one big symphony of smell and looks. It looks almost unreal.

Ryu was the fist one to take a step again. They still walk slowly, while marvelling the flowers.

Distracted by them, they just walk forward. Until they fall into a hole, which was definetely artificially made.
