Frisk Kabob

The human wasn't very surprised by the sudden entrance of the strange fish, guardian of the underground and head of the royal guard, Undyne. Though really the whole word choice of which Papyrus used was pretty much surprising though. To tell them the whole truth even though they had just tried to hide it not too long ago, literally a few seconds ago. Letting out a silent sigh the human would listen in to them talking up until the Papyrus, Papy the Great began to brag about being the human's best friend. Flushing a slight red color, the cat hooded human would lick their lips slightly.

Maybe if I stay here long enough, she'll think I left the – She started shouting and that wasn't good. Frisk blinked a few times when the theme song came on and they immediately backed into the corner and curled up under the bed. She's going to ... The woman went into the closet to see if there was a human in there and even continued shouting; asking where the human was, or more so ordering Papyrus to tell them where the human was.

As soon as the fish threw that spear, the human squeezed their eyes shut and pulled the hood over their face. Sans moved obviously as they heard the springs in the mattress decompress slowly from Sanses mold. Though as soon as that spear came through and went between her legs, the human simply laid there for a few moments in disbelief as they moved their legs slightly, brushing against the spear which impaled the bed.

Papyrus probably wouldn't see the human right away since it was a black hoodie, though only moments later the human came darting out from underneath the bed, their face blocked out by the shadow of the hoodie; only their mouth visible. They slid up next to the two skeleton brothers and blinked a few times staring at the Fish. Frisk didn't know whether to speak up or not to this violent fish.

"That was a 'purrrfectly' good bed, Frisk spoke up with a pun immediately related to the cat hoodie they were wearing. The way they stood was as if they were ready to run away at any moment due to the fact that this woman would throw spears about. "But first the door and then the spear, you're really trying to kill me," The human blabbed a bit, sectional red armor appearing in vital areas made from determination. Hard enough to stop the several spears before breaking.

If Sans looked at the kid, their HP had gone down from 20 all the way down to 10. They had taken more damage than they had thought from the spear prior, but the human seemed to be hiding their pain, despite the dark red liquid traveling down the outer region of their right leg.

"Nooooononono! Undyne!" Just as Sans panicked about the bed, he looked to Undyne with his single left eye flaring with blue magic. Undyne chuckled.

"Oh relax! Don't act like this is the first time...uh-What are you doing??" she looked from Sans to papyrus as he was peaking and seeking for something under the bed in a hurry. Was her guess right? The human was hiding under the bed? Oh...well if the poor thing was dead, it seems her job here was done here--

"That was a 'purrrfectly' good bed" she heard after the child had quickly crawled from under the bed and ran towards the skeleton brothers.

Papyrus was so relieved, he didnt even catch onto the pun as he was glad to see the child was fine. "FRISK! the taller skeleton greeted with joy and hugged the child. Sans eye's widen to see that the child was actrually in danger, He snorted a laugh to the child's pun but quickly snapped back to the issue; they could have been killed!

The skeleton brothers and the fish looked towards the child as they listed the many times Undyne almost killed Frisk. Of course, Papyrus released from the hug and rubbed the back of his head.

"Oh my...I-I don't think she meant to! Right Undyne?" Undyne looked from the human to Papyrus in awe

"Uh...Heh. Suuuure..." she looked to Sans who gave a glare. Sending signals about their agreement to keep 'on-duty' tasks away from Papyrus. Sans didnt want Papyrus to be in the way, nor cause any issues for Asgore. Of course, Undyne wouldn't break that promise. She agreed wholesomely with keeping the details from Papyrus. She scoffed and crossed her arms. " Tsk! Don't accuse me of things I had no idea about.." of course, she was only doing her job, not intentionally at first, but the bed...she wanted to be some-what right in destroying the human.

Sans looked from Undyne and back to the child. Once his eye, flared with magic, died down to the normal white pupils, he scanned the child from head to toe before pulling up their status.Once he observed the child's HP status, he was actrually a little destructed, but didnt show it. If it was more than one Spear, the child probably wouldn't have been alive. The sheer thought of it..why did his heart ache? Sympathy? No, he still couldn't forgive the child for what they did in the last time line. Not now anyways. He exhaled a relieving sigh and patted the hooded child's head before giving them a smile.

"Could have been worse...right?" he asked Frisk. The hand that laid against the child's hooded head began to glow. Healing the child's HP with blue magic as he peaked around Frisk to Undyne.

"Since I cant get anymore sleep, I'm assuming you're here to take the kid, huh?" he purposely triggered Papyrus.

"W-what?! No, Undyne please not yet!"

Who could refuse Papy's pleads? After all, Sans knew exactly what to say to set up a domino effect. Papyrus would beg Undyne to keep the child here a little longer if need be for her best friend. Undyne growled under her breathe. Looking from Sans to Papyrus pleading eyes as she lowered her brows.

"I...Uh..I..Okay. For only a little bit. ONLY because I want to prove to you I can be a good friend!" Papyrus clapped his hand in glee towards Undyne. Undyne began to walk towards the three, but only to tower over the child who was being healed. "And I'll start by saying sorry." The fish huffed. apologizing was not really in character towards humans, but for Papyrus, she'd do almost anything to keep him happy. Just like Sans, she cared about him like he was her own brother. Sans immediately was on guard. He pulled the child closer to him then looked to Undyne.

Undyne took note of Sans' protective behavior towards the human. Narrowing her eyes to the shorter skeleton, she looked to the human and exposed her sharp shark teeth to the child as a smile.

"Now then ! Let's get this bonding started!"

"Bonding?" Sans questioned. He was a bit worried by her choice of words, but he did trust Undyne more than the human as of right now.

"Yes! Bonding..So tell me, Punk. How good are you at spars?!" the undying knight asked the human.

Papyrus eyes sparkled. It seems Undyne really was trying to be friends with the child through her own methods to prove one's strength.

The Skeleton was gleeful when they found that the human was alive from the spear which had impacted the bed and went right through it. The human simply stared at the fish after the pun though grinned a bit when Sans had laughed before getting back to all seriousness; especially since Papyrus didn't catch onto it right away. Can't rattle his bones when he was in the moment, now could they? The human let out a sightly happy huff in the form of a laugh of some sort. Though as Undyne tried to play innocent to the whole impaling of the bed for no darn reason other than to probably wake up Sans, this was definitely interesting. There was no way that would flow, at least not through Sans. The human looked towards Papyrus for a few moments as he seemed to have bought Undyne's words. Seriously?

Rolling their eyes to themselves, they'd glance to the ground before looking up towards the fish as she felt the small skeleton's hand on the back of their head. Healing them. Funny thing was, they never been healed by Sans before, never. This felt really good, and the touch made the human blush slightly. "Yeah... A lot worse..." Their playful demeanor changed a bit as their facial expression lost most feeling except for the blush that was across their face. Contact was enough for Frisk. They guessed it didn't matter as long as they could still feel their bony hand on the back of their head. That they could possibly hold hands at the end of the day. Shoot back and forth puns.

Though as soon as the Sans asked Undyne if they were here to take the kid, the human was about to speak until suddenly there were pleas erupting from Papyrus. It seemed the smaller skeleton knew exactly what to say in this time of need. Well, almost. The human wanted to suggest that they all go to Asgore, as a unit. Knowing very well that the Skeletons and Undyne could secure safe passage for the human; as well as lead them to meet and befriend the rest of the boss monsters. Plus, she was still looking forward to that date at Grilby's.

Then Undyne began to speak, and Frisk simply blinked a few times as they spoke. Saying that they would stall taking them for a little bit so that she could show that she could be a good friend to the human. As soon as the fish came towards the human, the human squeaked feeling Sans pull them close and blushed even more; their hood falling off their head showing their brown bob-like cut.

However as soon as the fish spoke of bonding, a shiver went down their back and they could feel the sins crawling right back up. Are you good at Spars? That question rang through their ears as they glanced to the side, away from the fish for a few moments, then opened their eyes slightly before they spoke, "I know how to dodge bullets, avoid collapsing buildings, shelter away from exploding mortar shells, unrealistically survive a fall that would normally kill me... How to go around barriers," they threw in the last part since there was no barrier around the way they came in. Which the human thought was unbelievable that the monsters never tried to go out through the entrance in the ruins.

Were they all as dumb as Papy?

Sans listened as the child answered Undyne's question. Of course, Undyne and Papyrus took most of what the child said as a joke, but Sans, he narrowed their eyes and looked away. Taking his hand back as he allowed the child to speak for themselves. He instantly understood that the child had already killed everyone...so the child would know their attacks and abilities with ease. This actrually sent a slight chill down Sans' back, how good was this kid in battle anyways? His memory of the battle was rather, rusty, but he could remember after killing the child so many times, their last battle seemed off; like he was fighting someone else. The child wore red eyes wielding a knife that had the ability to manipulate their magic of determination.

Whatever that was, the kid was able to hit the skeleton. Sand quickly grabbed his shirt, reassuring himself that he was not hurt. It caught Undyne's eye.

"Uh..you okay, Sans?" causing Papyrus to look over to him. Sans had a bead of sweat trail down the side of his head. He didnt exspect anyone to see that reaction.

"Uh yeah! Aynways..uh. How about that spar?" trying to turn the attention off himself.

"Yes! I think that's a wonderful idea! Frisk, if you are skilled like you say, then you should show us! This could really help my training too."

"Hah! Yeah, Even Papyrus can get a turn--"

"NO!" Sans yelled. Catching Undyne and Papyrus off guard as she narrowed her eyes to Sans.

"What? But why, Sans?"

"Yeah, Why sans?" She was actrually a little puzzled now. Sans was never this jumpy..first he was protecting the kid, but now he's just acting weird as if having doubts. Sans looked back and forth from Papyrus and Undyne

"Uh..I-I just feel this should be Undyne time to shine, ya know? Maybe another time, Bro. Let Undyne bond with the kid. You were able to bond with them through dinner, remember?"

"Oh...o-of course, brother.." his voice sounding a little discouraged. Papyrus was not feeling like Sans belittled him. A little embarrassing really. He has gotten stronger over the past few months after training with Undyne. It almost felt like Sans stopped believing in him.

Undyne could hear the disappointment in Papyrus' voice. She frowned at Sans and sighed.

"Uh..Dont worry Paps! Maybe next time, okay?" she stated. only to receive a single nod from Papyrus who was rubbing their shoulder in self-comfort. Undyne knew her place; this was between brothers.

"Alright then! Let the fun begin..Follow be, kid." she lead the way; opening the door as she exited the room first.
