Tales Of Demons And Gods: The Ultimate System

A shapeless soul floated in the thick heavy air of a colorless environment, The air heavy with emotions yet this soul couldn't feel emotions. With each passing moment, A feeling of madness and craziness seemed to permeate the air around the shapeless soul as the surroundings reacted, turning from Colorless to pitch white. The light almost blinding and then the soul... felt a pull, something pushing it into the infinite void of white.

"Where am I?" A Blue haired boy let out a small mutter as he found himself within the confines of a class room, A small tickmark formed on his head as he realized his palms were smaller and his skin was more tender.

'Last thing I remember was getting hit by a truck on my way back from work and then I blacked out... Finding myself here,' The blue haired boy thought, 'This can't be my past life as I don't remember sitting in a classroom with people featuring different hair colors, Besides,'

The boy felt his hair and sighed.

'My hair wasn't as spiky as this before,' He thought, 'Which means that I must have been Reincarnated but in what world?'

He looked forward and saw a beautiful red-haired woman, giving a class that he could hardly care about but something about her distinctive features seemed to shock him as he buried his face into the battle.

'TDG... Tales Of Demons and Gods... Of all the fucking worlds I could go in, It just had to be a freaking cultivation world,' The boy thought, 'Might as well be dead already,'

The boy sighed once again and sat up, his eyes on the beautiful figure of Shen Xue and a little drool dropped down from the side of his lips. A man could dream couldn't he?

The mechanical voice sent shivers through the boy's spine as it sounded rather feminine, He looked around but there was no one looking at him which meant that he was the only one that could hear the voice.

'Which means it's a System,' The boy thought with a smile.

[Initializing the Ultimate System... ]

'Ultimate System? Sounds kinda OP,' The boy thought.

The boy felt different, like in his mind, A presence had awakened... a certain power seeped through his veins, circulating through his entire body in a matter of moments and he felt different.

[Welcome to the Ultimate System v4.5, There are different commands that come with the System and to execute these commands, The Host must say the words.

Shop – A command that brings about the System Shop which will provide Host different items for his Journey and growth in exchange for System Coins.

Status – A command that shows the Host his name, age, rank and skills.

Assimilate – A command that allows Host to assimilate Skill discs.

Upgrade – A command that allows Host to use saved up points to upgrade his stats and skills.

Use – A command that allows Host to use an item bought from the System Shop

There are two different types of Points that the Ultimate System v4.5 uses, The first one is the Attribute Point which is used to upgrade Stats and Skills to higher tiers and the second one is the Ability points which is used to upgrade abilities.

The Ultimate System v4.5 runs on a currency called System coins which can be used in exhange for skills and abilities in the System Shop]

At the top right of his line of sight, The boy was able to see a small coin-like image and under it, There was a figure, 100 SC.

'So this must be my System coin balance,' The boy thought and looked to the lower left seeing two bars. They weren't large but they were full, The one on top was green and the one below was Blue... A tab appeared on top of them.

[The Green bar signifies your Health Points, Once you are hit by an attack, Your Health points deteriorate and when everything inside the green bar empties, You will die.

The Blue bar signifies your Energy Points, With these Energy points, You can perform skills as well as activate Abilities but once everything inside the energy bar empties, Your energy will be cut off and you will be unable to perform Skills]

'Whoa, That's a lot of information,' The boy thought.

[Starter Pack has been gifted to the Host.

Accept / Reject]

The translucent tab appeared in front of the boy and he felt like he needed to touch the tab and so he did, Touching the Accept button. The tab disappeared and another one took it's place.

The tab revealed that the System had given him Weighted clothes which would help him increase his Physical strength, Body Strengthening pills which would assist in Cultivation and... A Black Flash skill disc?

'This means that this System integrates skills from other worlds,' The boy thought, 'But how do I get skill discs?'

[Skill Discs can be gotten after completing System Missions or opening reward chests that are scattered throughout the world]

'Reward Chests? This wasn't mentioned in the anime,' The boy thought.

[The Reward Chests are spread all throughout the Tales Of Demons and Gods world and can only be seen by the Host. Once opened, The Reward chests grant the user random items]

The boy let out another sigh, but he smiled, He was definently going to have an interesting life and maybe he would be able to fulfill his Perverted desires...

"Assimilate," The boy muttered and the screen in front of him vanished, being replaced with a red translucent screen with a disc slot in the middle. He raised his hand high and the Black Flash Skill Disc appeared in a dim glow, no one else could see this and besides, They weren't focused on him. He slotted the disc in and it spun, the disc radiated in a crimson light as it vanished and the tab vanished only for a new one to take it's place.

'The boy nodded, although this move was meant for Fighters, it would be amazing to use in real life.

Ren dismissed the screen, and focused on the class. Of course, He had to wait till Nie Li's soul made an appearance and took over the body of the other Nie Li.

Ren noticed his clothing was rather common, which indicated that he was a Commoner.

'And also an indicator for my low soul realm,' Ren thought and then looked at Shen Xiu, 'Might as well listen to this Bitch's lesson, Not like I care but still, something to burn the time before Nie Li's future self makes an appearance,'

Suddenly, Shen Xiu's entire body underwent drastic changes. A golden colored yin aura emanating from her entire body, Her hair became spiky and her ears grew longer.

But her face wasn't the only thing that changed, Her fingers grew longer and sharper, each finger laced with dreadful yin energy and her teeth sharpened, the sunlight gave little to the imagination as a Scarlet tail popped up from her behind. Her figure seemed more beautiful yet that degrading look was still on her face, She was looking down upon many people here.

"My Demon Spirit is... A Scarlet Flame Fox," She announced with pride on her face.

The students looked at her wide-eyed, clearly amazed with her new form.

"As expected of a silver rank demon spiritualist, The new teacher is very powerful," A student muttered.

"I heard that the new teacher is from the Sacred family," A brown haired girl said.

Shen Yue smirked.

'The Sacred Family is one of the three major families,' Ren thought, 'At least that's what I remember,'

Shen Xiu walked past the students, pacing around the class and portraying her beauty. As she passed by Ren, he couldn't help but whistle.

'Damn, Such a nice ass,' Ren thought with a perverted smile, Even in a new world with a second chance at life, He would never change.

"Demon Spiritualists can replace their demon spirit with a more powerful demon," Shen Yue said as she stopped in front of a Male student, His eyes going to her glorious tail and he reached out to touch it...

"But without soul force," Shen Xiu said, moving her tail away and slapping it across the Boy's face, "Well, It's impossible,"

"You didn't have to mention that you can change Demon Spirits, So many commoners sit in this Junior class, I wonder why there even is a Demon Spiritualist teacher here?" Shen Yue let out and chuckled.

'I don't know what the dean was thinking when he let nobles and commoners take classes together,' Shen Xiu thought, 'The pride of sitting together would make them fail to recognize their own position,'

And then it happened... Time seemed to slow down as the reality itself cracked, turning everywhere white.

'Not again,' Ren thought and slammed his hands on the table, only for it to vanish. Everyone else vanished and Ren found himself alone, A brilliant purple orb appeared in his palm and he looked at it... Then memories came flooding in.

'Nie Li's memories are with me?' Ren couldn't believe it, He had gotten every single one of Nie Li's memories and even the System could confirm it.

He looked at the other Nie Li who stirred awake, although Nie Li and Ren weren't acquainted... He still got the memories of the Future.

"And now I have to serve as the Nie Li for all of them, huh?" Ren muttered, "Too much work,"

But he couldn't stand by and let Shen Xiu continue degrading the Commoners. He slammed his hands against the table, this time they connected and all the eyes in the class turned to him.

He stood up with an attempt to use Nie Li's memories to defeat Shen Xiu in the battle of tongues.

"Wasn't the Legendary rank Spiritualist, Ye Mo a Commoner when he was still young?" Ren started.

Their eyes widened while Shen Xiu looked at him with spite, her crimson orbs flaring with intense flames.

"You dare utter Lord Ye Mo's name," She said.

"Didn't you say it yourself?" Ren asked with a shrug and then he rolled his eyes, "Lord Ye Mo has proven it, Origin can't decide one's future,"

Shen Xiu's yin aura died down as she reverted to her normal state and stared at Ren from the podium, her eyes locked onto his Common figure.

'Blue Hair... Golden Eyes... Such low soul force and he can still talk?' She wondered.

"The genius of Lord Ye Mo is unrivaled, In hundreds of years, He was the only one able to climb to the peak using his own ability, Let me see what kind of talent you have," She said and her palm glowed in crimson yin aura, a scroll that lay on a shelf resonated with the glow and shot through the air, landing in her palm with grace.

She opened the scroll and let out a little laughter.

"You're a commoner who talks far too much," Shen Xiu said, "You have a soul force of merely 8, That's trash, You're inferior to most of the commoners in Glory city,"

Yet Ren didn't back down, her arrogance was something he didn't like and he was not going to back down.

"And so what if I have a Soul force of 8? Teacher Shen Xiu, You'll regret what you said today," Ren stated with a nonchalant face, "There are a lot of commoners in this class which you depise, because of their position in Society because you were born into nobility, You look down on anyone below you in status and that's not human, Nah, It's pure evil,"
