Writing the actual contract took some time, but within the hour, it was ready. Meanwhile, they waited, Gu Yan and Yang Xin tried to poke some information out of Tian about where he learned alchemy. They didn't believe his answer. They tried to lower his guards with trivial questions but mixed there were compromising ones. Tian saw their intention so, after a while, they gave up.

After the contract was signed, Yang Xin gave him one copy and an interspatial ring containing the 200.000 Demon Spirit Coins for the budget- "Here you have, hope you have luck on your research. We wouldn't like to lose such talent!"

"They don't believe this contract is going to hold long, yet, they want to drag me to their side" -Tian looked at the interspatial ring- "Well, at least this is a good start."

The first thing Tian needed to do was to buy as much Purple Haze Grass as he could. He still needed to save some money so that his next course of action could be completed. So he saved up a quarter.

Using that money Tian bought during the span of a week so much Purple Haze Grass that during the next year there will be a shortage of it. Still, there was more in the market that he could buy but the price was slightly higher as many merchants started to raise the price as they saw that the demand for Purple Haze Grass strangely grew.

The part that he saved up was for alchemy and inscription materials. Tian plan in cultivation was not to only focus on Soul Force but rather mix the methods of a fighter and demon spiritualist. In this regard, Tian was experienced. In the beginning, he was nothing that a fighter. The Body of Poison was a cultivation technique made for fighters. No, it isn't right to call it cultivation technique, but rather a martial technique.

If a cultivation technique granted your Soul Realm different abilities and properties, a martial technique allowed one to do the same with the body. Although a fighter was weaker than a demon spiritualist, a demon spiritualist could be enhanced with the methods of a fighter.

If a demon spiritualist main concern is the Soul Realm, the main concern for a fighter is their body. The better one body was, the faster it will advance. The same could be done to the Soul Realm, but it was rather difficult and only high-level technique could do so.

Tian main plan for the moment was to prepare his body so that in the future, he won't have a problem. Until he didn't have a stable income, trying to advance the ranks of a demon spiritualist with his cultivation technique the Void God, was rather impossible. A normal demon spiritualist would need a steady supply of the pill to increase the speed of cultivation, yet, with his technique for every proxy he made, he would need to split the energy he absorbed. Therefore, he needed to have the strength that the martial technique granted him.

Either way, Tian experience showed him that the process he was trying to do was going to be beneficial not only as a fighter but as a demon spiritualist.

The body of every being after being worn become more and more impure. Making increasing the rank of a fighter increasingly more difficult. Getting of the impurities within one body would allow it to increase almost all aspects that a fighter needs. However, this also has a benefit for demon spiritualist. As their body became purer, the energy between heaven and earth will become easier to absorb. The energy will become less reluctant to absorb, easier to sense and control and the energy absorbed will be purer.

However, the process of getting rid of the impurities of the body was rather arduous. At some point in time, a demon spiritualist practising a high level would reach a stage where their body would expel some impurities. However, this wasn't enough.

Most of the time, the process of removing impurities is done with a Spiritual Flame. A Spiritual Flame is a kind off entity that's made by the world. A concentration of energy or energies with the same elemental nature. Spiritual Flames are mostly used by Alchemist like Tian to refine high-grade pills.

Spiritual Flames are hard to come by and are mostly extinguished by demon beasts that suck that elemental energy to increase their power. Although a Spiritual Flame is immortal as it will regenerate, the time it takes is greater than many generations and it's not fixed on a spot. While there cannot be more than one Spiritual Flame of the same element at a time, that's rule is not applied across realms.

Tian face was visibly sad, he remembered his Spiritual Flames- "Oh, my Scarlet Flame. Oh, my Death's Breath"

Although just having one Spiritual Flame was something rare, Tian managed to gather 2 in his previous life, but he spotted a few more. One of them was the Spiritual Flame that his tribe in the Toxic Forest used as the main mechanism of defence. The Blessed Light. A Spiritual Flame with the element of Light. It allowed them to have a healthy complexion and to draw out the toxic beasts. It was the treasure of the tribe that was passed down generation after generation and only used in desperate situations but when Tian left the Toxic Forest, it didn't have much life left.
