6 Chapter 6 - A New Teacher?

Midday.

There were footsteps sounded from the hallway. The students in the class thought that teacher Shen Xiu would come soon. But they didn't know that Shen Xiu was currently bringing in a man who would surprise one of the female disciples...

The sound of the door opening began. Nie Li and his brother thought that it was time for them to stand at the back of the classroom once again, but Teacher Shen's voice stopped him.

"You can sit down for now."

Shen Xiu said as she glanced at Nie Li's group.

Some of the students started whispering to each other, they thought that there would be something important to happen today.

Shen Xiu stood in front of the class podium, she continued; "There will be a new teacher who will teach you, he will teach about physical things and its benefits. For further topics, you can ask him yourself." After finishing her words, Shen Xiu looked towards the classroom entrance. There Roger stood up and started nodding to her, Shen Xiu answered him with a nod too.

Roger entered the classroom with a confident step, Roger also thanked Shen Xiu when Shen Xiu walked out from the classroom.

"Hgm!..." Roger cleared his throat. The students who had previously whispered to each other finally became silent and immediately paid attention to the mysterious man who was in front of the class.

"Hm..." Seeing this Roger nodded and immediately grabbed chalk, after which he wrote his name on the blackboard in the Chinese word. The word means Roger or Lou Jie in Chinese pronunciation.

"Good afternoon, and thank you for all your attention. Believe me, I'll keep this as short as possible." Roger said while looking at the beginner class students.

"My name is Roger. From now on I will teach physical classes for those of you who want to." Roger continued.

At that time there was a student who raised his hand. Seeing this Roger replied; "Yes?" to that disciple.

"What does the teacher mean by 'for those of you who want to'?" Asked the student while tilting his head.

At this Roger nodded and immediately explained; "So the class I teach does not require students to attend, however for those of you who want to attend, of course, I will welcome it with wide arms."

Hearing this, the disciples started nodding their heads.

"Anyway, my class starts next week. I'll be on school grounds, come in the afternoon when your class ends." Roger continued.

"For those of you who don't want to attend, no problem, my class is just an extra. Which definitely won't affect your final judgment."

"That's all, see you next week. And enjoy your time!" Said Roger with a smile, after that he walked out of the classroom.

Roger met Shen Xiu once again, they had small talk, after which they separated and Shen Xiu entered the classroom.

Whereas in the back row of the classroom, Lu Piao poked Nie Li's arm with his elbow, he whispered; 'Daytime classes are so tiring, do we have to come to his class too?' Lu Piao whispered with a sigh of disapproval.

'No need, I have come up with a better training plan. Next week I will see the attributes of your soul as well as our other brothers.' Nie Li replied in a low voice.

Lu Piao immediately agreed, but Du Ze continued to frown, he kept wondering whether he should come to Roger's class or follow Nie Li.

Ning'er Pov.

I'm waiting for Shen Xiu's teacher to come into the class, although I don't like the way she teaches, but, it can't be denied that Teacher Shen is more knowledgeable than the students here, especially me.

After waiting for a few minutes, finally, footsteps came from the hallway. Those footsteps sounded echoing, it's just that right now she heard two different footsteps, which meant someone else was coming to this class.

Since teacher Shen never walked side by side with other teachers because of her arrogance, this made Ning'er think that the person walking with her should be a noble or someone with a higher level of cultivation than her.

With curiosity, I began to wait for who that person was. 'Is it a new student? No, there's no way there will be a new student when the final exam will be held in the next two months.' Ning'er thought. She continued; 'Or is it a new teacher?' She thought once again.

Shen Xiu started to enter the classroom, and her guess turned out to be correct. It was a new teacher!

She hopes that this teacher is more insightful and has a commendable character. If so, then this would move her more quickly towards the goal she currently wants.

After explaining what happened, Teacher Shen walked out and a man started to enter.

'?!' Ning'er's eyebrows started to lift, she looked at the new teacher with a surprised expression.

Ning'er immediately calmed herself down and returned with the cold appearance she was used to.

But on the other hand, without realizing it, there was another girl who accidentally saw her expression just now. The girl started mumbling things that only she could hear.

Minutes passed quickly.

For some occasions, that teacher would look up at her while explaining the class rules.

This made Ning'er think that man still remembered her clearly!

Shortly thereafter, he ended his speech and immediately left the classroom.

Ning'er said inwardly. 'I'll be coming to his class next week, if the opportunity arises let's ask about something more specific. He looks really nice and also friendly...'
