16 Chapter 15

The sacred family main household all got into a carriage with everyone doing different things. Shen Xiu was conversing with shen fei while giving glances at shen feng who was lookin at her in a weird way, while Shen Ru and Xuan both competed for Shen Yue's attention who was reading a book on mental arithmetic written by a bored demon spiritualist who cultivated this ability to what he deemed as the apex.

This was the family, his family, although dysfunctional and steeped in weird traditions he was enjoying his reincarnation so far. After a few hours they arrived at their location which was the inscriptionist association. The building was actually three stories total below ground and was created as a shelter and record holder of humanity built by a worm demon spiritualist along with a plant one so it was extremely unique in that aspect.

After the carriage stopped the family left it with a good amount of enthusiasm, and walked into the building without the guards and went to what could be considered a reception desk . After Shen Xiu showed the pass she obtained, the woman who was at the "reception desk" began having a conversation with her.

"How many people this time and who did you want?" Spoke the reception lady to Shen Xiu, as both their hips swayed as she and Shen Xiu walked down the stairs with the eldest sibling of Shen Yue following right behind them getting a full view. "You Chyou, just you and I came with payment." Shen Xiu said as Chyou got the message and after a few secret signals began giving them a tour of the place underground.

The underground building was decorated in amber light, and photos along with a short description of the inscription masters were on this floor and below them continued the inscription they contributed to the restoration of the inscription system. The interesting presentation soon became boring and it was when this happened that Shen Xiu took over and took the youngest siblings into a different world with their ancestors in there and began teaching them about the sacred family's glory leaving Shen Fei alone with Chyou.

By the time they were all in the carriage, Shen Fei had a weird look on his face along with some exhaustion and disgust. While the rest were tired from a large amount of information learned while there and they each, excluding Shen Fei got to learn about something interesting like their ancestor of theirs who made it possible for camping tools to be made with inscriptions he found on an adventure outside of Glory city.

"We are now going to take a trip to a forest, and for a few days, we will be staying at a nearby inn over there. Shen Yue and Shen Feng both will be sharing a room together, Shen Fei has his own room and I will be with Shen Rue. Any questions?" Shen Xiu and interested in the forest they were heading to Shen Yue asked his question.

"Are we going to say indie the forest and then head to the inn or after heading to the inn? Also, which forest are we visiting?" Asked She Yue with glee before he quickly received his answer.

"We will be staying at the inn for a few days and do a two-week trip in the forest and after that, we will stay in the inn to rest before going home. Any more questions?" She asked

while giving out the message she didn't want to speak. Observing the faces of her "family" She takes the straight-laced faces as a sign and begins resting for what is coming up next.

Six days later they finally arrived at the forest and from Shen Yue's perspective in order for Shen Xiu to deepen the camping experience she split them into different teams and had them collect the supplies needed for the night. Shen Xiu and Shen Ruan both set up the campsite and tent; Shen Yue and Shen Feng went looking for dry wood, while Shen Fei along with Shen Xuan hunted a few rabbits for food.

Shen Feng had a dull look on his face as he walked with Shen Yue who had a book in hand as they looked for wood. Shen Feng's eyes had a glint in them as they collected more wood and the longer he thought the longer the whispers went into his ears. Things were nearly at a tipping point when Shen Yue was looking over the edge of a river to admire it.

Shen Feng's body moved closer to Shen Yue he was in an arm's reach pushing him off to his death and if he had any other urges no one would be able to hear them during the loud sounds in the deep forest along with the rushing noises of the river. As his hand moved closer and closer, each inch represented the lifespan of his elder brother when suddenly Shen Yue opened his mouth.

"You can hardly hear anything over the river, we wasted enough time and it's getting late so we need to set up the campfire soon right Shen Feng?" Spoke Shen Yue suddenly turned around to face his brother. This woke up Shen Feng and he quickly turned what he was about to do into a firm affirmation and a smile placing his hand on his elder brother's shoulder with a smile Shen Xiu taught him to practice.

Shen Feng's back was sweating like crazy; he nearly couldn't believe what he did. "If he was to die right now it would be too obvious, even if I hate his guts he is still my brother." Thought Sheng Feng to himself with his breath a bit disorderly but he still acted calmly. "Of course brother, let's leave at once." Shen Feng said quickly before turning around and picking up the wood and walking off to the camp. He really needed his fix of special medicine to calm down. He hadn't had any in a week and a half and it was starting to show on him.
