Chapter 6

Du Ze noticed Xiao Ning'er struggling and said to Lu Piao "Lu Piao, we have to cover for Xiao Ning'er. It looks like she is facing some difficulties."

Lu Piao just nods and it continued. All three kept defeating the beasts.

While this was happening outside, inside the cocoon, Nie Li was also in pain.

The 10 black liquids were the liquids refined from blood.

Each black liquid in one bottle contained the blood of 10 million species in the universe.

And there were 10 liquids, each refined from different species.

Inside the cocoon, the black liquid entered his body.

Some species were inferior to another. To let all the bloodlines co-exist, it took Nie Li 2 days.

What actually happened before Nie Li came to this world is that, the God of Reincarnation had given him two gifts.

The God told him that it was to make his time in the TDG world easier but, Nie Li knew what his intentions were.

The two gifts were a golden ticket and an item bag.

The golden ticket would let him get any novel or story from Earth.

The item bag was the same one used by the systems. He could bring out whatever he wanted from it but, can't get things from other Wuxia novels.

That meant that he could get things from other worlds except cultivation worlds. He could also get any item available in the TDG world.

The money he brought out in front of Shen Xiu were also from this bag.

Now back to the present time. Nie Li's body felt like it was being torn to pieces.

'The blood is too strong for this body.' he thought but, Nie Li already had safety measures.

So, he let the black liquid do it's job. The blood tore apart his whole body.

He tweaked the technique such that it would use the black liquid to reform his entire body.

So now, Nie Li didn't have a body. The cocoon was just filled with blood and flesh.

Then the black liquid merged with the blood, flesh and bones.

Nie Li's body started to form again. No other can bear this process but, since Nie Li has already been through a lot of physical and mental pain, this was nothing.

His skeleton formed first. Nie Li was observing the process though his soul.

'Golden bones? Since I didn't try this technique, I don't even know what to expect. This is thrilling.' he thought.

Next the muscles started forming. They weren't that different from Nie Li's when you look at them.

Then finally his skin. That is where Nie Li realised that he forgot an important detail.

Usually in this process, the body takes up the features of the soul.

In other's case, their soul and body look the same so, it wouldn't be that big of a deal.

But, in Nie Li's case, his body and soul look different. Now the body started to look more like the reincarnated soul than Nie Li.

'I don't know if I should be glad or not. It might be a pain in the ass if my appearances changed suddenly but, I still want to have my original face.' he thought.

After thinking for a while, he decided to go with his original looks.

'I just have to bluff my way out.' he thought.

Outside the cocoon, Lu Piao, Du Ze and Xiao Ning'er were almost at their limit.

'It has been three hours since he went inside the cocoon. I hope he is ok and nothing went wrong.' Ning'er thought.

Then they saw a white light from the cocoon and some cracks on it.

Then the cocoon shattered and a naked person fell from it.

It obviously was Nie Li. He got up and looked around. Nie Li then suddenly vanished.

The three heard roars from the beast all around them. Nie Li then appeared in front of them after around 10 seconds.

It was dawn and sunlight hit Nie Li's body. The three saw his naked body.

Xiao Ning'er's face turned red. She thought 'He is naked. I just saw a naked man.'

Lu Piao looked at the thing between his legs and thought 'It is bigger than mine.'

Du Ze was the only one who noticed the changes. He asked "What happened to your face hand hair? And also that scar on your right eye, that claw marks on your chest and that weird tail?"

Nie Li replies "The Body refining technique caused the changes in my hair, face and tail.

I already had these claw marks. The scar on my right eye was caused due to a leaf.

I told you guys that even a leaf would be able to wound me, right?"

"I never took it literally. I thought you were just exaggerating." Du Ze said.

Nie Li looked at Xiao Ning'er and asked "Do you like what you are seeing?"

"Don't tease me." she says and turns around.

Nie Li had already stored his clothes in his personal space. He thought the liquid might stain them.

So he wore his clothes and that's where all three observed another change.

Lu Piao asked "Nie Li, you look skinnier than usual. Is this also due to your cultivation technique?"

"No, this is because I used up all my strength in the Body refining process. I will be back to my usual physique after I eat." Nie Li says while walking.

Du Ze asked the name of Nie Li's cultivation technique. Nie Li says "The Divine Demon Technique."

Nie Li went to the nearest restaurant immediately and that day, the restaurant's whole rations were finished by a 13 year old boy.

Nie Li attended some classes. Xiao Ning'er went and sat besides Nie Li.

This was a huge shock to the students. He only attended one class and then left.

He went to the library. Nie Li's knowledge far exceeds the knowledge in the school library.

Nie Li sat at a place and brought out all the inscription books.

He then started studying the runes and inscriptions.

'I remember something called law energy from the novel. Since I can't sense it or feel it, I will have to look for clues in these runes.' he thought.

Nie Li obviously has better runes but, these incomplete ones also have their importance.

Asura says in Nie Li's head "I can't see any changes in your body except the rainbow colored tail and your looks."

"This might be the ultimate body even a God would seek. In this world I would call this the best physique." Nie Li says.

"I don't see anything special in it." Asura says.

"That's what everyone would think. I used the blood of every species alive in the universe.

I gained an elemental body like Logia users from One Piece.

Usually cultivation is the method to use the energy from nature and contain it in the body.

But, my body can produce energy by breaking down matter. The food I eat gets converted into energy.

I don't even have to poop. And the main thing is the rainbow colored tail.

Each hair on the tail represents a different species. I used the blood of all demons in this world and also the blood of other species in the universe.

I can transform into any of those species at will. Similar to how saiyans turn into apes.

The saiyan bloodline would be useful to grow strong quickly.

There is another feature which you saw at the training ground.

I can absorb life form and use it to improve my cultivation. I can also absorb the soul force of a cultivator." Nie Li says.

"Now I get it. That's why you gave Shen Xiu that much money." Asura says, "I am quite impressed that you planned this far. Now you don't even have to cultivate. Power is going to come running to you."

"I still can't believe you used an incomplete novel this much. Is the technique complete?" Asura asks.

"That's where I am stuck. I don't know if it is because he stopped it in between or that he didn't complete the technique in the novel.

His techniques contained 9 stages. Three for body refining, three for soul refining and the rest three are normal cultivation.

I first thought that body and soul had reached the final stage, that's why he made the last three normal ones but, that's not true.

Body can keep growing and the soul would reach the peak of the 10th stage. Currently, my soul has just entered the 10th stage.

There are two more stages. That's where this technique looks weird. I thought I would first reach the 6th stage and then think of the flaws in the technique." Nie Li explains.

After talking a little, Nie Li went back to reading the runes. Every time he saw a new rune, he would start pointing out the flaws in them.

He kept observing the runes and couldn't come up with any idea to feel law energy.

Then a voice called out for him. He turned to see the owner of the voice and saw a girl with purple hair. She was the girl named Ye Ziyun, another goddess of his class.

Nie Li asks "What do you want?"

She replies saying "I wanted to check some inscriptions but, you are keeping all the books of inscriptions and runes with you."

"Oh sorry. I am done reading these. You can take them." Nie Li says.

Ye Ziyun asks "Can I ask you something?"

Nie Li nods while looking at the book. Ye Ziyun asks "I heard you pointing out the flaws in the inscriptions you were reading. Have you studied a lot about inscriptions?"

"Kind of" he says.

"Can you tell me about an inscription? This was thought in today's class." Ye Ziyun says.

"Sure. I wouldn't mind helping out a classmate." Nie Li says.

Ye Ziyun is the city lord's daughter. She could easily get her doubts clarified by anyone but, she always wanted to learn on her own.

When she arrived at the library and looked for books, she couldn't find any. After asking the librarian, she went to Nie Li.

She usually wouldn't take the initiative to talk to a person but, she did so because she saw Xiao Ning'er sitting beside him.

She also noticed that Xiao Ning'er, her childhood friend, was very close to Nie Li. This piqued her interest.

When Ye Ziyun got close to Nie Li, she heard him talk to himself so, she heard what he was talking.

She wanted to check if he was really knowledgeable about inscriptions.

Ye Ziyun hands him the inscription she noted down in class. It obviously was not the real thing. Drawing an inscription required practice and skill to do the strokes.

Nie Li looks at it while Ye Ziyun sits far from him. After glancing at it, Nie Li says "It is from the 38 methods of foundation inscriptions. It was actually part of the Lightning fire holy scripture but, they removed the lightning part and lowered the power."

Nie Li then opens a book nearby and starts flipping some pages. Ye Ziyun obviously didn't believe that but, was interested in what Nie Li was searching for.

She moves closer to look at the book and found inscriptions in them. Nie Li stops at a page and shows it to her.

"This is the original one. Someone copied it from this." Nie Li says.
