Killing, What is killing? If one were to ask this question then the textbook answer will be - killing is the act of deliberately causing fatal harm to anyone leading to death.

But there is something which you cannot comprehend just by reading, that is the repercussions of killing someone. Let the question of justice and retaliation be kept aside, the very realisation that you have taken a life is a hurdle to a person's mind.

For anyone who has never killed before this is a very soul shaking experience even if one were to have a noble reason for it. This gnawing feeling of regret weakens a person's psyche and could easily turn a kind person into a heartless bastard.

It depends on how one cope up with their inner feelings and if they could tide through their jumbled emotions. It can even educate one about their path especially in a world like this one, where killing is the goal of every person.

Now, it depends on the person what they are getting strong for. What makes them and what are their reason to kill again.

For Nie Li, after dealing with the three Assassin, it was the first time he had killed anyone in this world.

Yeah, in this world but in his previous life he has gone through with it, and regretfully his sufferings were no less from what one could expect. The trauma haunted him for a ridiculously long period and made him question his life itself.

Being the bodyguard Leonard immediately tackled him and pinned him on the ground after the politician shouted for him to take physical actions. Leonard could obviously not refused and he did just that.

Following this event, the guy was apprehended but he was already knocked out and bleeding profusely from his head. No one cared much to provide him immediate medical help and eventually he died.

Leonard was shocked after hearing this but then his higher ups pulled some strings and got him out of the mess and advised him to stay away from this small stuff in his opinion, But Leonard mind couldn't calm down so he tried to investigate the issue.

The findings caused him to pale further and drown in guilt as he found out that the person was a farmer who was cheated along with all of his community by a big business tycoon so, he took it upon himself to take charge and being inspired form the Television where the politician stops to listen to his people and tried to talk with him, he copied that. He wanted his problems to be made public and also others to give support to their cause.

But unknown to him the politician was the backer behind the tycoon and he immediately recognised the guy, who was a figurehead for the farmers trying to cause problems as of late, and after this realisation the politician commanded his people to tackle him probably wanting to arrest and press the issue, but he died which was even better for the politician so he happily welcomed the outcome.

Leonard was thoroughly disgusted by this and tried to bring justice to the suppressed but he just gained his first big shot enemy in the process and a life long psychological trauma of having killed an innocent and extorted father of three little girls. Leonard eventually took care of them by providing all the money needed for a proper education and good lifestyle but it could only decrease his immense guilt by a bit, which flared every time they looked at with reverence and love.

But now, after leaving his past grievances behind and choosing to follow his path he had recovered from that and also understand a bit more about himself. Killing the three scums were something he didn't fell a single iota of guilt for.

'Shen Fei and Shen Yue. You two brothers sent three silver rank fighters to deal with a single bronze rank. Good! Your malicious behavior shows your pettiness and vile heart. I don't care about what you do, but since you choose to cross my way, I can only crush you and remove you from my path. ' Nie Li thought as a cold light flashed in his eyes, previously he didn't consider Shen Yue as a threat and also didn't think about killing a kid just for a small fight was fair, It would be too overbearing of a reaction but now looking at his viciousness he decided to give them their eternal damnation. Shen Yue's fate has been sealed and since Nie Li didn't particularly enjoys stretching the issue he would kill Shen Yue swiftly but, Shen Fei won't have a good end, he will have to suffer to ire Nie Li. For some reason Nie Li really wanted to torture him before taking his pathetic life.

"Anyways my time to depart has come. " Nie Li looked outside the carriage he was travelling in.

The land of Glory City is rather wide. Aside from the two most prosperous cities within, there is six more subsidiary cities. From the Holy Orchid Institute to Nie Li's house, even with carriage, he would not arrive until two days later.

Nie Li has already travelled for around half a day in the carriage and decided to leave as he has different destination. As of now, Nie Li has read thousands of book not only in the Alchemy Association but also visiting the Fighter association and Inscription association which were not so glorious especially the latter one. Although the different association had few exclusive books but the content was till very fulfilling and Nie Li increased his database by a huge margin and now he wants to travel in the wilderness and gather experience and most importantly cultivate in peace. Nie Li knows that as long as he reach higher realms and become stronger all would become easy to accomplished.

Nie Li withdraw a letter from his sleeves and gently put it inside the carriage. On the surface it was imprinted with receivers name which were Nie Li's parents name. Nie Li knew that the carriage driver is a kind old man who will definitely sent this to them.

In this letter, Nie Li just wrote about his wellbeing, and the information about him going to an expedition with his friends instead of coming home for vacation, and also a bit about his successful breakthrough into bronze rank. Nie Li can't just vanish on them, even if he doesn't want to be with them. Nie Li knows that the original body's parents, uncle and aunt are kind and loving towards him and they would be very worried if he disappear without any sings, also the Heavenly Marks Family would get the letter of acceptance from the Holy Orchid Institute about Nie Li detailing his success so they would aslo investigate his disappearance. It would be better to just leave a little message behind.

In side the letter there is also some DSC and some Elixir, Nie Li didn't intentionally give them a lot which will trigger the greed of the elders, and hence it would be confiscated in the so-called benefits of the clan.

But if it wasn't much, Heavenly Marks family wouldn't cross paths with a genius just for some meagre sum.

Nie Li looked at the letter and just suddenly disappeared without any sound or disturbance like a ghost. Strangely enough, He didn't use the Void form of the Shadow Devil instead something else..

Nie Li suddenly appeared around a small basement like place filled with treasure and money, they were also some rather strange goods lying around. This place is none other than his inventory. After his successful breakthrough into Silver Rank Nie Li discovered that he can actually enter the inventory physically now, although it was for a short time and his soul force would be constantly used, the implications of such a change excited Nie Li very much. This is the very reason why he dared to go inside the demon beasts populated area, not only would he hunt specifically in the less dangerous area with various life saving items but also has the Trump card of retreating inside the inventory giving him protection for a period of time, this ability along with shadow devil's Void form is absolutely crazy.

Nie Li is very excited at the prospect of discovering more of this, the only problem is that he cannot change location while inside the inventory and the time he can stay inside is only a few minutes but as he promotes to greater realms this would also change, who knows he may discover some new function.

'This is really fascinating, It would be a kind of secret base of me once I can stay here for longer and I could even probably use this place to grow some herbs and stuffs, right now I am only a 2-Star Silver Rank Demon Spiritualist even still the area is not bad, the idea of having it become bigger and bigger is awe-inspiring. This has various implications and one is only limited by his imagination. He has some theories like he has to follow a certain path and act a certain way but he cannot say for sure.

After thinking for a while, Nie Li decided to let this be, this is just a wasting of his time. The product of rewards is good but it's not the end of the world.
