5 Chapter 1.5

The Ravaging Beast's Descend.

After I managed to pick myself up and pull my mind together I decided to freshen up for school as the thought of school being a safe haven was enough to comfort my edged mind.

Putting on my school uniform was a border but nothing too tasking for me. Opening my door I walked out of my room as I walked down for breakfast.

"Eh, where's ayano?" Those were what came out of my mouth as the sight of an empty dinning table and a hot meal on it confused me.

Walking quickly I reached there as I sat down I noticed a small letter with a heart on the top.

Opening it I began reading it's content.

'From Ayano,

I have already prepared your breakfast, if you're wondering were I am. I went to school alone because something came up so I have some important things to do as the Student Council president. so sorry for not telling you.

PS: Pls come to school on time.'

Sighing in relief I close the note and keep it back on the table. staring at my food I tried to eat but the image of blood kept on flashing in my head so I just stood up and decided to go to school without eating.

Closing the door I began my long work to school immersing myself in my thoughts I decided to try to calm myself down.

Deviating a little I decided to just think of how life took a sudden turn for the worst my average daily life and happy moment as been nearly distorted and are now on the verge of... Ending.

'I didn't want that'

And that for some strange instinctual reason made my guts rench in agony. I don't want my joyful times to end I want it to last forever.

".....?!" It seemed like my debate as too end, I'm finally at school a place I was sure wouldn't be threatened with an end.

Walking through the main door i got a look at the time as my eyes widened I dashed quickly across the stairs to reach class on time.

And at my path were two girls who towered over me directly underneath the light from the sun. they were wearing the same uniform I had quickly grown accustomed to. Yet there presence felt massively out of place, like a dreadful beast lurking in the midst of a garden

They looked unique and exquisite like a rose. but they were simply poisonous ivies waiting for someone to poke there thorns.

Truly there presence nearly emitted the same level of maddening intent as that madman— No— Beast that was about to murder me.

And there they stood like predators(Kaiju's) that emerged from the echoes of a separate reality.

Thereby making me to believe that—

"A pleasure to meet you, Minato-kun. my name is Anne Heydrich~" one of the girls a petite girl with a cute face says with an innocent smile at me.

"And this princess with a stern look is Elizabeth Marie, this school is a wonderful place isn't it?..... I like it~"

She introduced the girl at her side who I would say looked completely stunning. her silvery white hair held an exotic touch as her red eyes stared at me with something similar to interest, ignoring her endowed figure that ignited a deep passion within me was hard but I still did so due to the situation.

The blood red haired girl — Anne — uttered those sentence with a sing song tone that held an underlying threat to it vastly contradicting her angel like appearance.

She then looks at me with a smile I could discern as a mocking one.

"..." Wait!, Ayano said that something 'Important' came up so she had to leave home early so those that mean that the important thing was.....

"Yep!, what you must be thinking is correct we are both transfer students. most importantly were your new classmates~" The beast in disguise giggled in glee at my expression of realization.

"That means that you,me,Elizabeth. and Ayano are in the same class. so let's get along alright?~" she managed to end her sentence with a seductive tone as she smiled strangely at me.

'Kind of like how a predator would stare at it's prey'.

Maybe it was instinctual but gazing at both of this strange people they gave off a signature or something that sent a huge headache into my skull making me to almost fall down the stairs.

The school was no longer my safe haven, it wasn't my nexus of stability again — Foreign entities have mixed into my normal happy moments threatening it to End. I could feel dread line up in my gut as my happy world was on the absolute brink of shattering.

I couldn't stop it — No I couldn't escape it.

"That's right!, you can't, so let's have fun!" The petite girl says with a knowing look as the brief thought of her reading my mind sprang up.

"Hmmph" The white haired beauty simply nodded with a cold look as if she also understood what I was thinking.

"You could if you're smart, that is" Elizabeth voiced out loud in a stern but insinuating tone as if she was hinting at something.

"Hmmph, Hime-Chan! it's not fair your not supposed to give our toy false hope" The red haired girl pouted cutely in protest of her subordinate.

One voice was filled with playfulness and the other with seriousness both paralleling each other but at the same time managing to fill me with a sense of anxiety for the future.

A sense of Thanatophobia — Fear Of Death — but in this case — Fear of the End consumed my mind.

Maybe I didn't know but the actual truth was that this day on the 28th of April 2019 approximately by the time of 9:04 AM. The start of the collapse of my happy moments began.

Huh?!, turning my head I could have sworn that I heard a strange voice just now. or maybe I was finally reaching the brinks of sanity today.

Turning back my head I noticed the two girls vanish as if they were never here in the first place falling down on my butt a horrifying but honest thought was realized.

And that was the reason for my happy moments in life ending—

Is because I was too powerless to stop it.
