Tales of Avaloria

One day, the Arcana Pillars appeared at the heart of the continent of Avaloria, and with it came down the monsters that sought nothing but death and destruction. To counter the monsters, it is said that the Supreme One gifted the Avalorians the Prana --- the "Breath of the Gods" --- that gave the Avalorians the means to slay the monsters. But that was only the beginning. The wave of monsters will not stop until they go to the source; to the monster-infested Forsaken Lands. Centuries passed and the world changed significantly. Killing monsters became a profession and the spoils dropped by the monsters became a commodity. Explorers and adventurers treated the Forsaken Lands and monsters as a land of opportunity. And Prana was used not just to slay monsters but also for the interests of the different factions all over Avaloria. The Avalorians have forgotten why they must reach the One-Thousandth Zone of the Forsaken Lands. But they will soon remember and understand the true purpose of the Pillars and the Prana with the help of a half-blood named Cael Vanhaven.
