2 First day

BENJAMIN POV

"Finally." I thought, leaving the classroom.

"It's a good thing normal classes don't start until next week." I sighed at this thought as I walked towards a door to use my key.

(In Blue Exorcist they use keys to get to places faster)

I walked a few seconds, until I found a door.

"There's no one." I thought, looking around.

"Let's go then." I spoke softly, putting the key in the door and opening it.

"It's big," I thought, looking down the long hallway after entering the door.

"If I'm not mistaken my classroom is 1106." I said, looking for classroom number 1106.

After a few seconds of searching I found the classroom door.

"Let's get started." I thought, walking through the door.

When I entered all the students looked at me.

"Hello, my name is Benjamin." I said, and walked over to a chair to sit down.

I chose one of the front chairs, and it turned out that I sat in front of two girls.

One of them has long purple hair with dark red eyes, and the other girl has short brown hair.

"She's not pretty, she's too unsalted." I thought, looking at the brown-haired girl.

"She's very cute." I thought, turning my gaze to the purple-haired girl.

"What are you looking at?" The young purple-haired girl asked aggressively.

"It's just that you are very beautiful." I spoke with a smile.

Upon hearing me the purple-haired girl blushed, after all no one ever said anything like that to her.

Seeing the poor girl blush, I just let out a laugh and turned to face forward.

"Hm." The purple-haired girl, seeing my laugh, turned ashamed.

"What does this guy have?" The purple haired girl asked internally.

Seeing her friend's way, the brown-haired girl laughed.

"Why are you laughing Paku?" The haired girl asked Paku.

"I think he likes you Izumo." Paku whispered into Izumo's ear.

"Stop talking nonsense." Izumo spoke blushing.

Paku just laughed.

Listening the girls were talking behind me, I just held back my laughter.

"This is going to be fun." I thought.

After these events, I just put my earphone on and waited for the teacher.

A few minutes latercame in Rin, and he said some things, but since I'm on the earphone I just ignored it.

A few seconds after Rin, Yukio walked in, and he went straight to the podium and started talking, so I took the earphone off.

"Hello everyone, my name is Yukio Okumura, and I'm your teacher. Even though I'm the same age as you guys. , I started the exorcism course when I was 7 years old and I graduated 2 years ago, so I would like you to call me teacher inside the classroom." Yukio said, placing the briefcase he was carrying on a table on top of the podium.

All the students who listened were surprised.

"Agey 7 years old?" Everyone thought, but I just looked, after all the priest started teaching me when I was 4.

"Yukio? What are you doing here?" Rin yelled.

"Teaching." Yukio replied.

After hearing Rin's question and Yukio's answer, I just put the earphone on and went to listen to music.

"Tanjun na suteeji

kawaku hodo negai

mizu ga ito wo tsutai

dareka ni kanau konnan na suteeji

choujou wo shimesu moyou

suiheisen ga wo chuu bad

nando kujikaretemo

bokura nami woutte

wotsubasa misero to sakebun the"

(Black rover)

While I was listening to my beautiful music, all the students got up and were leaving the room.

I watched the students leave until I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Hey, the teacher asked us to leave." A guy with pink hair spoke after I took the earphone off.

I nodded and left the room.

"That boy is quite noisy." Arriving outside the room I heard Izumo talking.

"They are brothers, and it seems that one did not know the other was an exorcist." I said, leaning against the wall.

"You." Izumo spoke, seeing me leaning against the wall.

"Yes, me." I said, with a strange expression.

"If I weren't me, who would I be?" I thought.

"How do you know they are brothers?" Paku spoke, interrupting Izumo.

"By the last name obviously." I replied lazily.

Hearing my answer, Paku felt embarrassed.

"Hello, my name is Renzo Shima, but you can call me Shima." The pink haired boy said.

"This one is Ryuji Suguro." Shima said, pointing to a boy who has black hair with a big blond streak in the center.

Suguro just nodded.

"My name is Konekomaru Miwa." A bald boy who wears glasses said.

"I've already introduced myself, but my name is Benjamin and you can call me Ben because I hate honorifics." I said, taking a cigarette out of my pants pocket.

"Do you smoke?" Izumo spoke, horrified.

"Of course, sweetie." I said, lighting up.

"Why? Don't you like it?" I asked, after inhaling the cigarette.

"Smoking is bad for your health." She said, looking at me and ignoring my flirting.

Hearing this, I could only laugh.

"What? I'm just telling you the truth." Izumo spoke, in a bad mood.

"I know, it's just that we're studying to exorcise demons, and you worry about smoking?" I said, stopping laughing.

"Hm, and what does that have to do with it?" Izumo spoke, turning away.

"We could die at any moment, and you say smoking is bad for your health?" I said, finding this funny.

Hearing my words, not only did Izumo stop to think, but everyone stopped, even the boy who was holding a puppet and the one who was all hooded.

"And just for that you're going to smoke?" Shima asked.

"No, I smoke because I like it, simple as that." I said, inhaling my cigarette.

"But I'm kind of different from people, so don't mind too much." I said, raising my hand and showing me the Yin-Yang tattoo.

"You have a tattoo." konekomaru gasped at the sight of my tattoo.

"I have some." I said pulling up the sleeve of my shirt, showing the tattoo of a western dragon on my arm.

"Why do you have these tattoos?" Paku asked curiously.

"Why?" I spoke in a low voice as I thought.

"Do I need a reason?" I asked, after thinking a bit.

Hearing me, everyone got weird expressions.

"Are you an idiot or what?" Everyone thought.

"Enough about me." I said, and focused my attention on Izumo.

"Why don't you introduce yourselves?" I asked, looking at Izumo.

"And why should I?" Izumo asked.

Hearing that answer, I finished my cigarette andcloser to Izumo.

"You are TsunTsun, aren't you?" I asked, coming up in front of her.

"You know the best women are the ones who pretend to be a block of ice, when they just like fashion magazines and kittens." I said, pushing my face even closer.

"Do you like kittens?" I asked very softly in her ear.

Izumo was blushing, I just couldn't tell if it was from shame or anger.

"He knows how to make a girl's heart beat." Shima said, letting out a whistle.

"What are you doing?" Izumo spoke, coming to his senses and pulling away.

"Me? Nothing." I said, walking back to the wall I was leaning against and pulling a bullet out of my pocket.

"You should be more yourself." I said, putting the bullet in my mouth.

"Shut up, you don't know anything." Izumo yelled.

"Calm down sweetie, I don't know yet, but I'll know." I spoke with a smile and winked at her.

Izumo's face turned red, and everyone kept looking at both of us.

"Are they flirting, or what?" The question was on everyone's mind.

After this small event, everyone but the puppet boy and the hooded boy started talking, until a loud noise was heard from the room.

"Looks like they're having fun." I said, and walked towards the door.

"What are you going to do?" Izumo asked, holding my arm.

"Calm down sweetie, I'll just see what they're up to." I said, opening the door a little.

"Don't call me sweetie, my name is Izumo." Izumo spoke, but he also cocked his head to peek at what was going on inside.

"Alright sweetie." I said, and looked into the room.

"Looks like they attracted goblins." I said, seeing Yukio shooting some small green demons.

"Let them have their fun." I said closing the door.

"We're not going to help?" Konekomaru asked, unsurely.

"If you want, go there and help." I said, letting go of Izumo's arm that held me gently.

Izumo felt my touch and finally realized she was still holding me, she blushed and walked over to Paku, who was watching us from a distance with a smile on his face.

"You won't help?" I asked Izumo.

"Why should I?" Izumo asked, after reaching Paku.

"Do exorcists need reasons to help people?" I asked.

"If you want to help so much, why don't you go there and help?" Izumo asked, not caring what I said.

"Because it's boring." I said, taking a candy from my pocket,

"If it's boring, why do you think I'll help?" Izumo asked, raising an eyebrow.

Hearing his answer I started to laugh.

"You know? I liked you even more." I said, still laughing.

"And who needs you to like me?" Izumo asked, turning his face that was red.

"Here." I said, tossing her a candy.

"What is this?" She asked, after taking the candy, her face still red.

"It's to sweeten your life." I said, still laughing.

"Hmm." Izumo said nothing but opened the candy.

"Do you want it?" She asked Paku.

"No, he gave it to you after all." Paku replied with a smile.

"You know? I don't like you." I said, looking at Paku.

"Why?" Paku asked, not understanding why I said this out of nowhere.

"You don't act like yourself." I said, eating my candy.

"Izumo is a kind of Tsu, but she still acts like herself, but you get that smile on your face, which doesn't seem real to me." I said.

"Stop talking to her like that." Izumo yelled at me.

I didn't respond and just continued eating my candy.

"I just don't throw that candy at him, because the candy tastes so good." Izumo thought, putting the candy away.

After Izumo's scream everyone fell silent.

"What are we seeing? First flirt, then fight and the next will be what?" Everyone else thought,

"Did I overreact?" I thought looking at Paku, who was silent.

"You know what? Who cares." I thought and threw a candy to Paku.

"It hurts not to be yourself, it corrodes you inside and ends up with all the good things that life can give you." I said, after seeing that Paku took the candy.

Paku didn't answer and just looked at the candy.

Izumo, who was next to Paku, was going to say something but Paku stopped her and said.

"Thank you." Paku then opened the candy and began to eat.

"Yummy." Paku thought.

After a few more minutes of silence Yukio left the room and spoke.

"Sorry for the delay, let's continue with the classes." Yukio said, opening the door for us to enter.

Once inside we find we find the messy room

"You know how to party." I said, whistling in admiration.

Yukio and Rin just stayed with embarrassed expressions.

After this event, we packed up the tables and Yukio started teaching.

When the class was finally over, it was nighttime.

"Class is over, you can go to your dorms." Yukio spoke.

After hearing Yukio, we all left except Rin who stayed behind.

"What are your dorms?" I asked, yawning,

"The three of us are in dorm 10002." Shima said.

"We're at 10001." Izumo said.

"What a coincidence." I said, after hearing Izumo's dorm number.

"Why?" Izumo asked, having a bad feeling.

"It's just that I'm in 10001 too." I spoke as I walked.

"Shouldn't it be separated by gender?" Paku asked.

"That I don't know." I said, taking out and lighting a cigarette.

"We're going to have to smell cigarettes even in the dorm." Izumo spoke unsatisfied.

"Ohh, so my presence is not a nuisance, but my cigarette." I said, with a smile after taking a drag on my cigarette.

"You are too." Izumo spoke quickly.

"Got it." I said laughing.

"You haven't noticed that my cigarette doesn't smell bad, have you?" I asked, after a few seconds of silence.

"No?" Everyone thought, and smelled the smell of my cigarette.

"It smells like peppermint." Everyone thought,

"See? The cigarette I smoke gives off a different fragrance, because the normal ones I couldn't smoke in church." I said, taking another drag.

"Church?" Shima asked, confused

"Yes, I was raised in church." I replied innocently.

"Lie." Izumo said.

"Why?" I asked, with a confused expression.

"You grew up in church? So why do you have so many tattoos and smoke?" It was Paku who asked.

"The priest at the church where I grew up was always very libberal." I said, with a smile.

"So he didn't care much, but he always complained about the smell of regular cigarettes, so I changed the cigarette I smoked." I said, taking another drag.

Everyone was staring at nothing at my answer.

"What kind of priest is this?" Everyone thought.

Seeing their expressions, I just laughed.

"You must know him, he's the best guy in the world." I said, looking up at the sky.

Everyone listened.

"Leaving that aside, let's go to the dorm." I said, finishing my cigarette.
