1 Farewell

BENJAMIN POV

"Old man, I already told you you don't need to help me." I told the priest, who is helping me pack my things.

"Stop talking and continue." The priest spoke, continuing to pack my clothes into the suitcase.

"Stubborn." I said, sighing but with a smile.

"You have to take care." The priest spoke without turning to me.

"Do you think I'm going to get in trouble?" I asked with a smile.

"Old man, I'm very strong." I said, showing my arms that have well-defined muscles.

"I am not kidding." The priest said, stopping to pack my things and turning to me.

"Old man, you know I won't fall so easily, after all if I fell easily your name would be dishonored." I said, looking at the priest in front of me.

"But don't worry that I'll still be back here so you can see my wife." I said, smiling again.

Hearing my words, the priest just let out a sigh, but his face had a smile.

"It's good." The priest spoke, starting to pack again.

"Of course." I said, helping the priest put my things in the suitcase.

"We finished." I said, after putting the last item in the suitcase.

"Yea." The priest spoke, nodding his head.

"Let's go." I said, grabbing my suitcase and leaving the room.

"Where is everyone?" I asked, not seeing anyone on the way.

"They're outside." The priest spoke, walking beside me.

"I understand." I said as I walked.

After some time of silent walking the priest and I arrived outside the church.

"What are you doing?" I asked, looking at the group of people in front of me.

"Of course we're waiting for you." One of them spoke.

"Yea." The other nodded and everyone started talking.

"That's right."

"Do you think you'd leave without saying goodbye?"

"I'll just exorcise some demons and then I'll come back." I said, but a big smile was plastered on my face.

"I really like these guys." I thought.

When listening to me, the people in the group chuckled.

"Of course you're only going to exorcise a few demons, but you won't be back for a while, so let's give you some things so you don't forget about us." One of the church helpers spoke up, handing me a bag.

I opened the bag, and it contained some of my favorite cigarette packs, some mint flavored bullets, and my favorite candy.

"Don't you guys say smoking is wrong?" I said, trying to hold back the tears.

"Do you hear us?" The priest beside me said, with a laugh,

"No." I said, also with a smile, but it is possible to see some tears in the corners of my eyes.

At my answer everyone laughed again.

"I'm going now." I said, putting the bag in the my handbag.

"If I don't leave now I'm going to cry." I thought, starting to walk, but was stopped by the priest.

"You'd better remember this old man." The priest said, hugging me.

"With old age comes sentimentality?" I asked, but I was hugging the priest myself with tears streaming down my face.

"Old fool after so much care, how can I not get attached." I thought as I hugged the priest.

"Shut up and get going." The priest said, releasing me from the hug and slapping me on the head.

I just let out a laugh, and turned around and started walking

"See you guys, I'll be back to visit you." I spoke without turning around, so they do not see my tears.

"Until." Everyone spoke in unison.

I listened to them and a smile formed on my face.

"I'll be back." I thought, walking towards the car that will take me to the True Cross Academy.

When I get to the car I get in and the driver starts driving.

The car passed in front of the church people so I rolled down the window and screamed.

"UNTIL."

"UNTIL." Everyone screamed.

"They seem to like you a lot." The driver spoke.

"Yea." I replied, opening my bag and taking out my candy.

"Yummy." I thought, chewing the candy, after opening the package.

The journey took place in silence and at some point in the journey I fell asleep.

"We arrived." The driver said, waking me up.

"Already?" I asked, opening his eyes.

"Yes." The driver said.

"I almost forgot, wear this." The driver said, handing me the gym uniform.

"Can I get dressed here?" I asked.

"You can." The driver said turning to the front.

Hearing the driver's confirmation, I started to change my clothes.

"How old are you?" The driver asked, after seeing my tattoos.

"16." I said, finishing changing my clothes, but of course I didn't put on the right uniform, I left the tie a little loose and left some shirt buttons undone.

"You look good." The driver said, looking at me through the reflection,

"I only like women." I said, opening the car door.

"Kid…" The driver was going to freak out, but I wouldn't listen and I was already closing the door.

"Wait, your bags will be in your room." The driver said.

"Okay." I said, and closed the door.

"It's pretty amazing." I said, looking at the large gym.

"Let's go." I thought, after admiring the great academy.

"If I remember correctly, there must be a speech from the freshman rep." I thought, walking into the gym.

As I walked a lot of people looked at me, after all, besides being very handsome, I have some tattoos on my body, and some of them are visible, like the Yin-Yang tattooed on the top of my hand.

"How did a delinquent like that get into this academy?" A preppy said.

"I don't know, but he's pretty handsome" A young woman beside the preppy said, letting out a sigh of admiration.

I just ignored them and followed the instructions to go to the auditorium.

After arriving at the auditorium I sat in the first chair I saw in front and put on my headphones.

"Su re chigau Mainichi ga koete yuku keredo

(White album)

As I listened to music the performance started and soon came the freshmen representative's speech.

"Yuki Okumura." I thought, looking at the brown-haired young woman who wears glasses.

A few seconds later the speech was over and all the freshmen were guided to the classroom, but I wandered off to drink some water.

After drinking water, I walked towards the room I was assigned to.

Arriving in the room I saw a young man with messy black hair, carrying something covered in a red cloak.

"Rin Okumura." I thought, looking at the young man, but my attention was caught by a group of 3 girls talking about Rin.

"What's up with that boy?" One of them said.

"Why is he here?" Another girl asked.

"I don't know, but he's weird." One of them replied, listening, the other girls started laughing

"Bitches." I thought, but did not move to help Rin.

I just ignored the girls and the rest of the students who focused on me, aswalked and sat in a chair at the back of the room.

"And here we go." I thought, looking at the teacher who entered the room.
