Off to Work

I guess I have to get up at 7:30 to get to work on time tomorrow. When I opened the door my sisters immediately started asking me questions.

"So how did it go?"

"Did you get the job?"

" It went well and I did get the job but my boss is a little weird."

" Weird in what way?"

"He asked me about my locket and then just gave me the job. Anyway we should have dinner because I have to get up early tomorrow."

"Fine." ,his sisters said in unison.

So we had dinner and I went to bed. I woke up to my alarm going off at 8 o'clock. As the time was much later than intended I changed my clothes and ran out the door.

I got to work at 829 and rushed inside to the office. Then I made the realization I was not wearing my sunglasses. The room was full of people ready for the mission. Everyone looked my way as the man at the desk introduced me to the people.

" This is Alexandros he goes by Alex. Alex these are your colleagues Charlotte, Artemis, Ares, Matthew and Benjamin. Oh and I am Apollo."

"Hi everyone nice to meet you."

Everyone said hi to me and we went straight to the briefing. No one even commented on my eyes.

"Ok today we are going to xxx brewery to stop a level 5 demons rampage. Be on your toes for this is the highest level of demon. Oh and Alex here is a Devil scythe be careful with it."

"Ok I guess?"

"Time to head out guys grab your weapons and anything else you need and let's go"

Everyone filed out of the room and ran around to grab their stuff. I went over to pick up the scythe and saw Apollo take out his colored contacts to reveal golden eyes. No wonder nobody was surprised by my eyes. Our boss had golden eyes that seemed to glow in the light.

Once everyone had gathered their things we piled in a car and left.
