5 Chapter 5 Trouble Strikes(Updated)

With the help of the Nirvana Rebirth cultivation technique, Nightin's cultivation was soaring and improving at a rapid pace. He could feel the one strand of spirit energy growing stronger as it gradually took on the form of a tree in just three days time.

Twelve days passed quietly while Nightin was in the forest and after finding a cave to rest in, Nightin muttered in his mind.

Looking at his current stats, Nightin felt that he has achieved a small target of his and a smile formed on his face. Looking up into the beautiful night sky filled with stars shining so dazzling that they are blinding him, he muttered to himself "One day, I'll be standing alongside those stars,or even above them! However, I'll have to deal with the Rosa family first!"

The stars, seemingly sensing rivalry actually glowed even brighter as though they were accepting the unexpected challenge. Back in the stars however, there was one of them which has been camouflaging as a star to protect themselves, but their strength definitely exceeds the limit of the lower realm and will they be enemy or ally?

Back on the star planet, young cultivators could be seen roaming what they know as the star wanderer path, only youths below the age of thirty can enter and if their strength was weaker than the Martial Emperor realm, they were blocked out. Yet, hundreds of thousands of youths could be seen roaming the streets casually and in the middle of the area, the totem suddenly lit for a brief moment.

"Has my rival finally arrived?"

Over the past twelve days, the number of demon beasts which his sword has slayed were already in the hundreds, every single demon beast he kills would have their demon core extracted and absorbed by him as spirit energy.

The spirit energy within it wasn't compatible with a human like him, resulting in only one percent of its effect taking place, but that was still much faster than his usual cultivation speed.

That wasn't what he gained most since cultivation could be gained as long as he puts in the effort to, but the combat experience and life skills which he picked up weren't that erasable, they'll accompany him throughout the day he steps into his grave.

He was confident that even though he's only at the seventh realm of Martial Apprentice at the moment, no one below the Martial Master realm would be his match, but this is while excluding those first class geniuses.

At the thought of his future, his excitement caused him to lose control of his aura and it spread outwards in all directions. The aura caused a burst of wind with him as the center, the bushes rustled and the fallen leaves flew, awakening a snake from its rest.

Quite pathetic, but he's just a young boy who has yet to mature and when destiny throws on this heavy gate onto him, it's up to himself to make it out of every single challenge by himself.

Our young main character was still immature and unable to control his own strength well, thus resulting in the currently unwanted scenario.

Nightin was shocked by the sudden loud hissing of a snake which was most probably attracted by the commotion caused when he lost control of his aura.

Nightin knows that it's most likely heading straight for him right now. Instead of retreating to somewhere safe, he decided to stay put. "This is my only chance to get stronger before taking revenge. I can't let this great opportunity slip past me, if not how can I even think about becoming someone who stands at the peak of the world!"

Determined, Nightin stayed put at his current location. Shortly after, a wild snake appeared in front of him. Upon seeing it, Nightin prepared himself and was totally focused for the upcoming battle.

Nightin wasn't sure and thus asked the system "What's with the 1% bloodline?"

The system replied in a robotic voice spared of emotions "That signifies that the snake has a 1% bloodline of a true dragon. This was what helped the snake breakthrough from the Martial Apprentice realm to the Martial Master realm."

Upon hearing this, Nightin knows that the snake is a complete disaster for him and immediately retreated backwards at full speed with the help of swift steps. However, his movement caught the snake's attention and it dashed towards him immediately.

The snake might only have extremely diluted bloodline of a true dragon, but it was still the bloodline of a dragon, one if the strongest species in the world and for Nightin to face it, it only signifies danger.

Just a demon beast at the Martial Master realm would more than enough to fool around with him, not to mention a demon beast which has such a strong bloodline.

Damn it! What the hell is wrong with my luck today? A demon beast one major realm above me with the bloodline of a true dragon is after my life! Nightin cursed within his heart as he once again increased his speed.

Nightin's cultivation may have increased rapidly over the past few days, but it was still far from enough to mess with a snake which awakened the slight bloodline within it.

Its strength, speed and endurance, everything was much above what its realm should hold, that one percent of a bloodline had given it the strength to contest with a Martial Master third realm opponent.

It didn't devour or coil Nightin up in an instant, all it did was follow beside him and await the opportunity to make its attack, it found it amusing that a human was trying to escape when there's no chance of escape.

"Hissss!"

It wasn't a game of cat and mice, it was a child trying to escape from the clutches of a physically fit kidnapper. Yet the kidnapper was merely playing around by chasing the child, always keeping distance for him to escape until he resigned to fate.

Seeing this Nightin cursed within his heart "Damn it, I need to be faster, I can't afford to die here! I still have to avenge my family!" His leg muscles started tearing due to him pushing himself to go beyond his limits.

The Nirvana sword body was received from Phoenix who he last met in that mysterious cave, he still didn't know about his true identity and that doesn't matter, he only knows that he has to survive to even repay Phoenix.

Nightin was pressured so badly that his stats rose quickly in the face of danger. However, he knows that it's still not enough and could only force himself to go faster.

With this, he speeds up once more, making a beeline for the inner forest. In the forest, things might get trickier for him, yet it's also another chance for him to escape. Considering his current situation, his only choice was to dive straight into the forest. He had to take the risk, it is his only chance to survive however little the chance may be.

"Swoosh!"

A figure dashed right into the forest,being chased by a gigantic snake which was hot on his tail.
