PIC A SEAFOOD HOUSE

"A mermaid was allegedly spotted by tourists in Blue Lagoon, the fifth small island located here in Charaya Island…" The female reporter continued on the news that same night.

"Their evidence — a photo of the alleged mermaid who accompanied them as they swim," the reporter added as the photos were flashed on TV.

"Damn, mermaids? That's not true," said the old foreign man reading the subtitles on TV. He was still sipping beer in the bottle while facing the small TV. "And if it is true, I'll be the one who will hunt it and sell it, hahaha."

"Mermaids are true. My mom told me that she saw one —pointed to the west and seemed to be thinking and whispered— She saw that its tail became legs. She was with the doctor's daughter back then." The young man said, looking at the old man, who was already drunk.

"Nah, she's just bluffing, it's just a tale made by an old woman, hahaha." The old man laughed until the two started picking on their side dishes.

"The sea reflects our emotions; most of the time calm. It is also inevitable that we feel fear every time we look at the sea, not because we are afraid to swim or be swallowed by the waves, but because we are afraid of what is in its depths. There is a belief that has been planted in the minds of people, especially the belief in sea creatures. Creatures who can't hide their beauty. Is the secret of the ocean cannot be hidden anymore?" The last word was said by the reporter before the program ended.
