Chapter: Why so serious?
Higa, while sitting on a big chair, asked "Did you all found something related to Mermaids?"
The people sitting around the table looked at each other and said, "Higa sama, we do have found out something but there is a problem"
Higa frowned and asked about the problem
"It's related to the 5 fingers" A man in the brown suit said.
Listening to him, Higa's eyebrow frowned.
5 fingers, the no.1 criminal organization among all kingdoms, though his own black rose has grown up quite a lot but their control is still in just Azure kingdom only.
There have been a lot of contacts between both parties, but whenever they met blood flowed everywhere
Higa wanted to increase the influence of his organization on a large scale but when his lord called him and gave him new command, all plans were halted.
Higa's followers did ask about it, but he only said "My lord wishes something else right now"
Everyone who works for Higa knows that there is even someone who Higa works for, and in front of him, he is like a small kid who gets happy when got a little attention from his lord.
Thus no one asks him much about his lord after all, "curiosity kill's the cat"
Higa, after a long pause asked "Aren't the Serpents controls the smuggling of seas items?"
"Yes, but Serpents and 5 fingers boos are close friends and partners in business, thus they won't betray them for us," Another man in the suit said, who was sitting with 9 other people around the table.
"Hmmm, then call the Serpents boss for a small meeting with me, will you?" Higa asked the man who was standing by his side. He was also a young man named Hideo.
He was a mercenary who was wandering here and there but when Higa met him, he saw some capabilities, thus he now works as his assistant.
Hideo, without a second, said "I'll arrange the meeting with them"
"Good"
After this, Higa talked about other stuff regarding the black market and their growth.
In front of Higa, there are 10 peoples, each person is responsible for some work like pubs, brothel, herbs, potions, weapons, slaves, and etc-etc
And each person is a good man, who owns a business in the normal world, and also they do every month's donations for poor peoples. Thus no one doubts them and they are best for some black works.
After some reports and talk, the meeting ended
Next Day-
Near the sea, there is a big hotel. It's each room is so expensive that even rich people think twice before buying it. It has the best view and service, and also offers some good service in other things.
But little does anyone know that there is a basement room, a room just above the water (sea). It is a hidden room, a place which Higa loves a lot for the meeting.
The basement room is big and really comfortable, except for the fact that the floor is made up of a mirror. More than 50 mirrors are attached together to make safe flooring.
And inside this room, our Higa is sitting in a big black chair, and in front of him is a study table or work table. And on it, there is a fruit basket with a knife.
*knock*
"come in"
Hideo comes inside the room and said "They are here"
Higa nodded to his words and told him "let them come in"
The person Hideo was referring to is the Serpent group's boss.
Soon 2 men walked inside, though there were more people behind him, but they were stopped as only Boos can enter, still, after some talk, Hideo let one of his underlings also enter.
The 2 man standing in front of Higa is, Ishikawa, a big fat man with a turban-like cloth around his head and has a mustache.
With him is a man, maybe his underling, who has simple clothes, a t-shirt, pants, and big boots.
*Higa stands up from his chair*
Higa with a big smile and opening his arms hugged Ishikawa and then shake hands with his underling.
"Ahh, Mr. Ishikawa san, sorry for troubling you to come and meet me, but you know, our work is something that doesn't allow us to move so much?"
Higa and the group sat on the sofa near them. Higa sat on a big sofa alone, while Ishikawa sat with his underling.
"Hahaha, I know, there is no need to talk about it. Let's talk about the main point" Ishikawa said with big laughter.
"Yes" Higa replied to him and then started talking
"You see, I heard that your organization isn't allowing us to either get hands-on those sea peoples and neither is your organization selling any of those people to us. Is it true?"
Higa was calm in his talk and all this time he had a small smile on his face.
"Yes," The answer was short from Ishikawa.
"Can I know the reason for it?" Higa asked the reason for it.
Ishikawa, remained silent, as he knew it is not so good to talk about other big organization in front if some big organization. He was thinking about proper words but
But his underling spoke "Why should we tell YOU? You have just risen in this world, whereas we have been working for years. You don't even know how cruel this business world is. Just go back to you mama and drink her milk"
Ishikawa was stunned and he wanted to say something but suddenly he notices sound under his feet.
*dunk*
A shark was roaming under the floor and its size was massive, really massive. Ishikawa, when entered this place saw the mirror floor but thought it was safe, give the reason why all objects are around here, and also Higa is calm.
But now seeing a shark under his feet gave him goosebumps.
*gulp*
"Yoshida, show some RESPECT"
Ishikawa yelled at his underling but he (underling) didn't really care much.
Ishikawa turned towards Higa and with a smile said "Please don't mind him"
Higa nodded and asked "Would you like to eat an apple? It's fresh"
With a hesitation, Ishikawa said "Yes"
Higa stand up and walked towards the study table, where the fruit basket is. He took the apple in one hand and the knife in the other hand and with a smile, he walked towards Ishikawa.
He again sat on his sofa and while facing down, looking towards the apple as he was slicing it, he said "By the way, I don't like it. The way your underling talked to me"
Ishikawa knew where this all was going on and wanted to calm the situation but his underling again spoke, "So, its truth ok? You are new in this field and don't have the power to go against those big organizations. What? Hard to accept the truth? Tsk-tsk-tsk kids these days"
Ishikawa wanted to say something but
But before he could say, Higa threw the apple at Yoshida's face and then with a knife in one hand
*Whoosh*

Higa attacked at Yoshida's face with a knife, again and again. Blood spurted out if his(Yoshida) face as his whole face was cut and even bones were creating noise as the knife slid on it.
Seeing all blood, Ishikawa got scared and run towards the door and slammed the door, trying to open it but the door didn't even budge.
"Open the door""GUARDS""PLEASE OPEN THE DOOR"
He cried and yelled as loud as possible but all his guard didn't listen to him and neither the door opened.
Outside the room, Hideo stands in front of a few people who were in black clothes. He said "Throw them into the sea"
"yes, sir"
Inside, Higa was done with his work, all of his clothes and hands were now stained in blood.
He stood up and then taped on the bell, which was on the study table. The door opened and a female entered the place, following her few men's also entered.
Seeing the door opened, Ishikawa felt like he could finally get freedom but the moment he stepped out, he only saw bones and blood, not of animals but humans
Hideo kicked him inside the room and closed the door again.
Inside, the men took the body of Yoshida, out of the room. Now only three people were present in the room, Higa, Ishikawa, and the female in maid clothes.
Higa sat on the sofa and showed his hands to the female, who was sitting on the floor while holding white clothe in her hand. Seeing the hand of Higa, she started cleaning it.
Higa looked towards Ishikawa and told him to sit on the sofa. He followed his words and with a scared face sat on the sofa, on the opposite side of Higa.
With a smile Higa said "I heard you have a beautiful daughter and wife?"
Listening to those words, Ishikawa felt his whole world is turned upside down. With a face full of fear he looked towards Higa and didn't say anything.
Higa, seeing he got the attention of Ishikawa, continued "I hope you don't want to see your wife being sold or working like a slave for some rich guys or being used as a toy to satisfy their pets need *looking at Ishikawa* you know there are people who have weird tastes?"
*gulp*
Ishikawa was just stunned and soon tears fall from his eyes, Higa continued "I also don't want to see your daughter sold and like a doll being thrown here and there after use"
Higa taking a deep breath said "My lord desire's something and he gave me this mission. So I don't care who you are or what backings you have. I will not spare a single person who will come in the way of my lord��s wish, so think twice before you say something"
Higa had made his statement and now all left is Ishikawa's response to it.
With a crying face, Ishikawa threw himself at the feet of Higa and asked for mercy. He said "Those 5 fingers are really dangerous people, if I help you, they will kill my family"
The female was already done with cleaning the hands of Higa and now stood behind the sofa.
Higa lifted the face of Ishikawa and said "Don't worry about your family, my people will give protection to them, as for 5 fingers, they will soon die. This is not a prediction but a spoiler"
After some more talk, finally, Ishikawa agreed to help them

And after 2 days, the whole 5 fingers organization base got wiped out from the map of the Azure kingdom and still the hunt is on-going in other kingdoms. Thus the name of Black Rose rises as fast as possible.
Also, if you are thinking about why did he (higa) not kill all of them and just take what he wants?
The answer is with Higa. To Higa, killing someone is not that evil but giving them fear is evil. After all, a life full of pain or death? which one will you choose? And which one is more dangerous?
To Higa, being evil doesn't mean to kill but to know how to give fear to not just his enemy but the people who are watching and listening to it.
He is the most evil person, but still loyal to one man
