Chapter 7: The Strongest Knight Vs Gildart- The last warrior
"Ladies and Gentlemen, the day you have been waiting for has come"
"Today is the Last Match of this competition 'Worlds Strongest'"
"A match that will surely be written down in the history of mankind"
"Now shall we welcome our fighters?"
"Yes" Crowd yelled loudly when the announcer asked.
"SHALL WE CALL OUR FIGHTER?"
"YES"

'World's Strongest' competition that is held every once in a year and the aim of this competition is not just to entertain some rich people, but to let the world know, how strong humans are and among them who is the strongest right now.
When our Gildart knew about this competition, he wasn't that interested but when he knew that he can have an upgrade in his adventurer rank, he made up his mind to participate in it.
And during each and every battle he was shocked to know just how weak all these humans are, he really wanted to kill everyone as no one could provide him any fun but there was a certain person who peaked his interest.
Anzai Hana, a female knight who is a magic swordsman and fighter also. She is the knight of 1st queen Iwamoto Aoi.
She can not only cast a spell of level 5 but also a great fighter as she has a fire spirit, and this fire spirit can help her to enhance speed, strength, focus, and much more. Not only that, but the spirit is also a divine fire spirit which means that it can borrow the power from the sunlight and help it's a user become almost immortal.
When Gildart knew about this fire spirit he was really happy as the spirit can help its user to be almost immortal, meaning he would be finally able to see how strong people of this world can be.
During the fights, Gildart always won with one punch at most, he didn't kill anyone though, and his fight made all people think one thing "Amazing"
Gildart vs Anzai Hana was the battle that everyone wanted to see, even people from other kingdoms who came wanted to see it.
As for Anzai Hana, she also took out each and every opponent with ease, though she wasn't able to do it like Gildart still the crowd was with her.

"Final Battle"
Let me introduce you first, our star, the knight of the 1st queen, last year's winner ANZAI HANA"
*Crowd cheering*
All people stood up from their seats as they all wanted to see the entrance of Anzai Hana, soon from the left side, from the darkness a female came out.
She had red long hair, and her eyes were green. She wore simple loose clothes, her appearance is simple but still, her body is damn good.
She has light muscles on her body, which may not sound good but when you look at it, her muscles are fully toned and literally perfect shaped, which enhances her look more and more.
Men's liked her cool aura but females among the crowd were going all crazy for Anzai Hana. She was the idol of all females.
Hana walked towards the middle of the arena and then waved her hands to the crowds and after some time, when the crowd calmed down, the announcer again started speaking
"Now, shall we call the other fighter?"
"Yes"
A man from the right side, from darkness, appeared to the crowd. The moment you look at him, only one word comes in mind "Strong"
The announcer continued his speech
"He is the most amazing warrior of the competition, he is the man who speaks less and fights more. THE LAST WARRIOR OF THE FAIRY TAIL CLAN"
"GILDART"
*crowd cheering*

Both of them are now standing in front of each other.
The Announcer told them about rules and then
"BEGIN THE BATTLE"
"Anzai Hana, knight of 1st queen Iwamoto Aoi"
"Gildart, the last warrior of Fairy Tail clan"
Hana, jumped back and created some space between them and started chanting some spell.
On the other hand Gildart was just standing still with no care. He looked on her waist and asked "You are a knight but where is your sword?"
Hana had now already finished with her chant and taking her breath she said "I am a knight of my queen, I use my sword only for my queen, not for some entertainment"
With that said, she lifter her both hand above, and soon a big circle appeared in the sky above Gildart.
"FIREBALL" Hana yelled
*Magic circle glowed*
Soon a big fireball started appearing from the magic circle and started falling on Gildart. The size of the fireball was massive, half the size of the arena
At a high pavilion-
"Huh? Isn't this a level 6 spell?" A young boy spoke, who was sitting in a high place, where only royalty could sit.
"No, son, this is a level 5 spell; she just had put more mana into it, that's all" The female by the side of young boy spoke
At arena-
Looking at the falling fireball Gildart didn't show any signs of fear or anything else, which made Hana really shocked, even the spectators were shocked to see how calm Gildart is.
After all, a warrior is a close combat specialist and if he faces such a high-level spell he will surely lose his life he won't do anything.
As compared to all Hana, felt that Gildart is just too scared to do anything and thus he didn't even move, as he was thing lowly about Gildart, something happened
Gildart just lifted his left hand in the sky and then opened his palm.
And when the fireball reached near his palm, he made a fist, as if he wanted to grab it.
"Crush"
One word, that was just one word, which he spoke and in the next instant
*whoosh*
The giant fireball disappeared from the sky, with no trace behind it.
*silence*
No one spoke as no one knew what happened, all they heard was one-word "Crush"
But the one who was most shocked by the scene in front is Anzai Hana. She was petrified by what happened in front of her.
She couldn't believe what she was seeing.
She poured almost half of her mana in that single spell and thought it would end the fight with this, or at least damage him a little but nothing happened.
Gildart looked at the shocked face of Anzai (Hana) and said "Magic doesn't work again me"
*Silence*
This time even those guards that were around the arena were shocked to hear this. For warriors, who are not afraid of anything, the only thing that could make them fear is magicians, as they can't do anything except run when the spell is launched on them
But here is a warrior, against whom magic doesn't work.
The pride that all warriors felt as if they had lost it, has returned to them when they looked at Gildart.
Finally the silence broke and Anzai spoke "What do you mean?"
"*smile* I mean what I had said"
Gildart continued "Use you're so-called fires spirit and enhance yourself, I want to see how it feels to fight an immortal being"
The crowd was now really excited, even those royalties. Everyone had thought that the battle would end up with some spells and little bit fight just like last year, but now they could finally see a true battle of warriors.
Finally they could see the war goddess, that everyone spoke about Anzai Hana.
"Really? Well if you want me to go all out, then you have to prove yourself first" Anzai said with a smile and then launched herself at Gildart.
*woosh*
*bang*
Anzai had thrown her right fist at him, but it was blocked.
She twisted her body and launched her leg at his neck but Gildart didn't block it and when the leg was down on his neck, he said "Weak and slow"
This made Anzai really angry and she moved back and again launched her attacks at him.
*Boom*
*Boom*
*Boom*
*Boom*
Among crowds and royalties-
"Are we seeing an illusion or is this true?"
"It is truth"
"This person, Gildart, just how strong is he?"
"He is unbeatable for sure"
"Hey, don't forget that our War Goddess hasn't gone all out yet"
"Mommy, that man is really pushing that knight as if she is a fly"
Many people were talking about the scene unfolding in front of them and were amazed but for warriors who were watching it, their chests were full of pride as for years they were mocked by magicians.
And even there were new types of the warrior which could use magic and swords.
The warriors who could simply fight and didn't have any contracted spirit were looked down upon by everyone and were nothing more than cannon fodders for the kingdoms.
They knew that they will be used as a meat shield but the pay was good thus people from weak financial status use to join the army most, either they are in the army or become guards of the city.
But today everything is changed.

After a few minutes fight, Anzai made some space and calmed her breath; on the other hand Gildart was still calm as usual.
"I am not here to play around, fight me with everything" Gildart said in a loud voice to Anzai.
*Silence*
"Alright then, remember it is you who asked for it"
Finally Anzai agreed and then closed her eyes.
*gulp*
No one in the crowd blinked and everyone looked at the arena with their wide eyes.
Soon, the hair of Anzai became dark red and throughout her bodies, cracks appeared
*opens eye*
Anzai opens her eyes and with a smile she said "Don't curse me for this"
Her voice was now a little bit heavy and distorted.
Gildart only smiled at her
