Chapter 1: Love is blind
"Who are you?"
"I am Gildart, the last survivor of my clan. As I was wandering around after the destruction of my clan, I saw this place, thus I want to enter, is there a problem?"
"Well there is, we are the guards of the kingdom and we can't allow you to move in freely, we have to check you first then only we can let you enter"
Yama, was shocked to hear this, he had thought that they will ask him hundreds of question and then prepare some temporary id but it turns out they will only check him a little, as he could carry something dangerous and let him go
This security was really weak and the only thing that come to his head was 'how the hell did this kingdom even survive so far or become the 2nd strongest?'
After a little bit checking they let him go, which may sound weird but still true.
Yama didn't look around much and visited the adventure guild, as for how he knew? He knew it when he was on his expedition around the continent.
Inside the adventure Guild-
It was the same as the usual scene which we all see in anime's and manga's, some are fighting, some are drinking and some are watching the mission board.
It was lively until someone entered
*Door opens*

A man stands in front of the door and looks around; he is our Gildart (or Yama).
His looks were simple but the aura around him was heavy, he had a calm expression and was wearing some loose clothes.
*Steps*

Every step our Gildart (or Yama but I am gonna call him Gildart when he is in the city) took, the place got quieter and a quitter.
Everyone was looking at him with eyes full of curiosity.
In front of receptionist-
The receptionist was a young girl and had fair skin; she is a pretty girl with a good amount of mass in that chest area.
Gildart didn't bother much on her looks and looked into her eyes directly
The receptionist got scared but still kept her stance and with a smile said "I am Hara Shinju, one of the receptionists of this guild. How may I help you sir?"
"I want to be an adventurer, can I?"
"Yes you can, all you need is to tell us your name and age, then give us 1 silver coin, fees, and we will give you your adventurer badge and then you are all set to go"
Gildart pondered for a second and then said "I don't have money".
Yama had money but the one he has is all gold biscuits, no coins which are used between Humans. Also, even if he did make coins from biscuits, but it won't have any symbol of the kingdom.
"Then it will be tough as it is the fees to create your badge" The receptionist said with a hesitant smile.
Gildart put his hand in his pocket and then took out a gold biscuit and while showing it to the receptionist, he asked "Will this work?"
The receptionist and all other people around him saw the gold biscuit and were shocked. All of them started breeding over the gold coin and wanted to take away but before they could do it, our pretty receptionist took it away.
"Seeing the size and after checking its wait, it is equal to 100 gold coins, thus we will provide you 98 gold coins as one will be taken as a charge to change the biscuit into coins. And another coin will be taken for registering your name. Don't worry we will provide you 99 silver coin left. Are you satisfied?"
Gildart didn't say anything and just nodded.
After a few minutes passed, he got his money and a bronze-colored badge, it was half the size of his palm. In his description, Gildart told them he is a warrior and his age is around 30.
After taking his stuff, Gildart asked about ranking and missions. With a smile, the receptionist started explaining "There are 5 ranks, starting from C, B, A, S and finally S+. The only way to get a promotion is by completing a certain amount of missions. As for missions, you are free to take anyone but please don't get overconfident and choose a mission out of your league."
The receptionist continued "The missions are also divided into ranks, starting from C-rank to S ranked"
Gildart didn't ponder much into it and left to take a look at the mission board.
There were lots of mission and it was really hard to look out for a particular mission but our Gildart just looked at the hardest S class mission.
But it turns out there was no S ranked mission, which made him sad but after looking around, he chooses an A-ranked mission, with the highest pay. The mission was simple, "Kill the pack of Giant wolfs, Pay 1000 gold coins"
The destination was a town around the forest of this kingdom.
After clearing the procedure and listening warning from the receptionist, he left the place. But he was not the only one who left, behind him a group of bandit type people also left.
Outside-
Gildart knew that someone is following him, so he walked till he found a dark alley with no people around and after looking around he entered the alley.
"So you knew we were following you huh?"
"Well this makes it easy"
Gildart turned around and saw 4 people, 4 males, and 1 female. All of them had taken out their swords and knives.
*smile*
Looking at them Gildart only smiled
"Now, give me all of your mon-"
The men's were saying something but before they could finish, a fist came straight at their face and
*BOOM*
His head exploded with one punch
*Boom*
*Boom*
Soon 2 more head exploded and the person responsible for it stood calmly as he looked at the last remaining person, female.
The female was so scared right now that she just pissed herself and with a scarred face she said "Please don't kill me, you can take anything, just let me live"
The girl was so scared that she pleaded for her life and even removed all of her clothes hoping to enchant him.
Gildart saw her body; it was good and had some hair in the lower region. With fingers, Gildart touched her stomach, then her chest, then her neck and then her cheeks.
The female finally felt like she will live now, as the person in front of her has taken an interest in her body, 'Hah, all men's are same!" she said in her mind but in the next moment she felt something around her face.
"Huh?"
*Blood spurt*
Gildart put his palm on her face and then grabbed her face and crushed it. He threw her body away and with a disdain look said "I have seen girls who are thousand times more beautiful than you!"
And then he left the place.
At Shi-Yama Castle-
The person responsible for all work when Yama was not present is Juliet but she is really angry right now, why?
It's because of Yama her lord.
Before leaving, Juliet kept asking her lord to take someone with him but he didn't listen to anyone and said "I will spend a little bit time, if I won't like it, then I will either leave the place or take someone with me"
"Ho, So Nadia has already started doing the works huh?" Juliet said while looking at the folder.
The folder contained the report of what she is doing. Nadia reported that with the help of the dragon race they found out the hideouts of Elfs, orcs, goblins, fairies, and a lot of other races. Thus she ordered the dragon race to send a few envoys to each race and give their superiors talk about us and if he doesn't listen they all can die"
The report contained various other things especially regarding money. But the biggest thing among all of her reports was the Building Kingdom plan.
After ending her work she left the place and then was on her way back to her Lord Yama's room but before she can reach it someone called out to her.
It was Iris, the Owl Women, and a perfect milf.
"What is it Iris?" Juliet asked while looking at her.
"I just wanted to know the answer of us Guardians" Iris said to Juliet while puffing out her chest.
What was the question?
Well there have been some words going around the Castle that Juliet is the daughter of Lord Yama, sounds simple but to all guardians and even maids, it is something big.
The words started when guardians were taking a bath together with Juliet and when they were having a chat a certain question arises "Juliet-Sama are you not the same as us?"
The question was regarded towards their birth, as compared to guardians, she has a mixed-blood of some races, but the biggest factor was her having the blood of their Lord.
Which to all guardians means a big deal, as all of them knew just how close Juliet is with Lord Yama and they all rarely get any chance to get close to him but now,
Now they knew that she carries his blood and that is the only reason why she is so close to Lord Yama. Why are they happy about it? Well, her carrying his blood means that she is like his daughter.
Meaning, their Lord Yama only sees her as a daughter, not as a girl
Hearing this talk and seeing all the guardians puffing their chest as high as possible, even Elise, the loli also puffed her chest, though there was nothing, still, this scene made Juliet fear something.
Finally all of them asked Juliet "Juliet-Sama, you see Lord Yama as your father right?"
And Juliet ran away from the bathhouse
And now Iris was asking the answer for it
To Juliet, the blood of her lord means that she is the closest to him, she also knew that it means she is like his daughter and she is proud of it but still she hesitated to say she is his daughter.
*Deep Breath*
Juliet made up his mind and said "Iris, I accept that I am like a daughter to our lord and this blood is also a proof of our relationship but don't think that I would let anyone of you get close to my lord"
Iris smiled and said, "yes I know your fear after all a daughter being worried for her father is ok, but don't you think you should let Lord Yama choose whoever he wants?"

Juliet felt like something has cracked inside her head but she maintained her calm face and with an evil laugh she said "There is a saying I heard somewhere, it was something like this, Love is Blind and its meaning is Love doesn't see any boundaries"
"What are you trying to say Juliet Sama?"
"You know the answer then why bother asking and me being a daughter also gave me some special right as I can go anywhere he is, so all of you- please try to give me some hard fight"
With that said Juliet left Iris alone there and then entered inside Yama's bedroom.
She jumped above the pillow and then she started sniffing all around the bed while touching her lower region.
"It's ok for a daughter to do this right?" She asked herself.
At Yama/Gildart's side-
"Achoo"
"Did I catch a cold?"
