Travia started shedding tears , the reason behind them was unknown to everyone. She couldn't take the sensation of someone staring at her back along with the emotional rollercoaster that she was going through. She crawled beneath her four poster bed and continued to cry. She felt suicidal thoughts at that moment which made her wanting to just disappear and never come back.
Travia needed to cool off real quick , she knew what happens when she lost control of her emotions. SHE COULDN'T PUT HER FAMILY ANYWHERE NEAR DANGER AT ANY COST.
Travia went straight under her bed to find peace and escape jack's soul penetrating stares. She happened to be present in the same place last week and surprisingly found herself calmed down when it felt like the world was falling apart.
As expected! The small cozy space under her bed which was covered with sheet covers in the sides helped her gather her thoughts. The dark space that she was cuddled at was like a portal to the outside of the world. It blocked her from seeing what was after those sheet covers -the cruel world that doesn't remain the same.
She fell asleep before she knew it. An hour later , Man with a white coat and a briefcase entered her room. She woke up the instant she heard the foot steps but pretended to be asleep so that the stranger goes the same way he came and not bother her.
Aunt Angella shooed Jack away from the room. She closed the door swiftly and commanded Travia to come out in a low but a firm voice. Travia slid out of her comfort zone unwillingly. If it was any other day she would dare to keep pretending to be asleep under her bed, years of observing her family members enabled her to understand when they were serious just by listening to their speaking tone. Aunt Angella's eyes were filled with tears but she spoke in the same low but firm tone," This is Dr. Jeremy you you'll be speaking to. He is a psychologist. He is just here to talk to you and give an advice about the problems that you've been facing over the last week that you can't share with us."
Dr. Jeremy flashed an eye blinding smile that annoyed Travia within an instant. She wasn't in a condition to meet some child psychologist because her aunt thinks she is just a troubled teen like other kids her age. Before she could explain why she didn't want to see him, aunt Angella walked out of the room.
She was left in a room with a person whom she had never seen before, air of awkwardness filled in. Dr. Jeremy started to speak brightly," So, Tracy wh-" . Travia held her palm right in front of his face asking him to stop speaking.
" Call me Travia- Travia Alder. I don't like every random person calling me Tracy, its a nickname given to me by people I treasure."
"o-ookay .. so Travia umm Travia Alder, what makes you act so cold-"
" Nothing makes me act cold , I am cold to every one and I know it. I don't believe in being nice to everyone. Its a waste of energy."
" Ouch- that's not something a 12 year kid should be saying. Okay, so tell me why have you been acting distant these days? There is a thing called puberty which you might already know, its very important to educate kids about it. At this age you might feel insecure and troubled. Don't worry, I'll help you get over it . All you need to do is schedule an appointment with me every week for a year. Your aunt and I are genuinely concerned, I can help you out! Yes, did you say something?"
"ALL YOU SPEAK IS CRAP! THE ONLY THING YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT IS SUCKING MONEY OUTTA INNOCENT PARENTS WHO ARE TRULY CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR KIDS"
Dr Jeremy stared in disbelief . Travia continued ," and I'm not bounded to answer what ever you ask me.. I would like my privacy right now so please leave while I'm being nice to you."
Thirty minutes later a door came flying at Aunt Angella and the twin brothers who were having Travia's strawberry flavored birthday cake with a ear- bursting noise. When they tried to look at that direction , they were blinded with pearl white light.
