1 Chapter 1 His name shall be Aldric

Year 8642, on the continent of fallen dragons, just east of the mountain range Bollin was a city called black ice. Within the city lords manor all was silent, except for the occasional scream, outside of the room where the screaming originated were two men and a little girl.

"I cannot handle the wait brother Reynold." Sighed the man wearing lavish clothing, his face having a sharp nose and high cheekbones, one could tell at the very first glance that this was a handsome man. At this moment however his deep blue eyes which were hidden behind strands of black hair showed deep worry.

"What if something is wrong with the child? It has been almost a day since she has gone in labor." His question was answered by a man standing in high quality armour with a sword sheathed on his right side.

"Please relax city lord Rowan, we have hired the best midwives the city has to offer. No harm shall come to miss Alexia or the child, please calm down and stop pacing infront of the door, you are frightening young miss Dorrelle." Reynolds said, his answer making Rowan remember his daughter was by his side who was also waiting for his love to give birth to his new child.

"Papa are you worried about mama? Hehe don't worry mama is super strong she can handle anything and soon I will have a baby brother or sister, I'm so excited!" The young miss who was named Dorrelle said. She resembled her father with deep blue eyes and black hair, though she was at the age of five her face which looked as if she was a doll, showed how confident she was in her mother. One could tell when she grew older her beauty would be able to topple cities and bring many pursuers.

"Hahaha yes indeed you are right my little princess, I shouldn't be so worried instead I should be joyous." Laughed Rowan with new found joy.

"This prolonged birth can only mean my child will become a much stronger warrior, or maybe even a magus." At this moment a baby whose cry could suddenly be heard had emerged from the room, immediately after one of the midwives opened the door and spoke with great enthusiasm.

"My lord the child has been born, it is a healthy boy haha, quickly come miss Alexia has called for you to hold the child." With speed which would leave one baffled he appeared instantly almost as if teleporting next to a beautiful lady whose hair was a striking platinum blond with piercing grey eyes, her face which would normally look like a holy fairy, showed great exhaustion. This beautiful woman was holding a baby boy with great care, though her eyes showed exactly how exhausted she was they also showed great affection which was directed stright towards the baby, the baby who had just stopped screaming was looking right at her and seemed as though he was in the most comfortable place in the world showing a happy a face.

"Look look haha our son has your blond hair, how strange though he has grey in one eye and blue in the other never have I seen something like this before nevermind that, quickly Alexia pass me our son I want to hold him" shouted Rowan, instantly the baby boy which previously looked happy and serene began to scream and cry.

"Rowan please do not shout you've frightened the boy, be more quiet or I will have Reynolds throw you out the manor and you will sleep on the streets for tonight. Be very gentle with him he is afterall a newborn." Alexia responded with a voice so soothing it calmed the child immediately after hearing her. Cradling the child for a few more moments she passed the boy to Rowan who stood by her side, excitement showing on his face as he grasped the child with his big hands and took a closer look at him.

"My son haha I have a son Alexia look at his eyes they are scanning the room this shows his intelligence, I have no doubt my son will one day become a powerful magus. Brother Reynolds isn't my son amazing haha he is unlike other children his age, he does not cry at any sudden movements and is now becoming accustomed to the world already. Dorrelle my dear look at your brother isn't he cute?" Boomed Rowan towards his daughter.

"Hehe yes papa he's so cute the cutest baby I've ever seen hehe. What will his name be papa?" Dorrelle asked her father.

"His name shall be Aldric. Yes he will be called Aldric Isadore!"
