74 Chapter 74: Found, Nursed and Kissed.

Lila returned just in time after Ophir, Nevi and Hexel defeated the devil. Lila opened a portal and transported the team inside the Palace. Kiel informed Cyrus about their arrival and saw Waheb beat up. Evi run with concern and inquired for medecial assistance.

Cyrus informed them that according to Evi, Lehi got entrapted inside the dairy. Evi mentioned about the person who owned the diary wrote about a scene where she got thrown in the middle of the sea. Zayin added that Evi was able to secure her on a safe page where she is sleeping inside a bird's nest. Kiel and Aleph immediately fetch the diary at the King's office.

The skimmed and scanned the page of a nest and finally found it. Natalina read the lone paragraph written on the vast page.

" My burden and yoke cannot be carried out by my endless tears. I rested my swollen eyes enveloped by a bird's nest where predators can openly approach and the sky can just look down."

Ophir answered with uncertainty.

"An eagle's unhatched egg."

The page turned bright and Lehi float out from the page asleep. Nevi caught her in his arms. Ophir asked Eyel to escort Nevi unto their chamber. Eyel requested that Nevi should put her by the thub and wait. Nevi did as Eyel instructed.

Eyel washed and changed Lehi's garment and called Nevi to transfer Lehi unto the bed. Nevi appreciated Eyel's concern and loyalty toward Lehi even if they are not from this era, there are people who genuinely support them. Nevi pulled the blanket and covered Lehi's sleeping form.

Evi and Waheb got escorted by Mem at the queen's palace. Gardenia had instructed Eyel and Mem to aid the guest who will be using the palace. Zayin and Aleph are staying with the couple. Evi volunteered to prepare the bath for her husband. Waheb just gave her a light peck and he washed himself. It's not that their marraige were loveless. They both worked hard to protect each other's spot that is why Evi can just whisper her best luck for Cyrus.

Cyrus waited for Gardenia to join him on their bed for hours. When he heared the door unlocked and Gardenia's voice.

"Thank you Eyel for today, have a good rest." Cyrus waited for Gardenia to finish her shower that is unexpectedly long. Cyrus sat by their bed leaning on the head board waiting for Gardenia. When his nose caught her scent Cyrus straightened and look at his wife who is untying her hair and lied down beside him. Gardenia ignored his husband and just wanted to rest but Cyrus pulled her and had her sit on his lap.

"I know you are tired but we need to settle this before we sleep." Cyrus intently and firmly said as he secured Gardenia's figure close to him.

"I got your message and I am sorry, I just felt bad at her state. I just want to inquire if she was alright at that moment. And her eyes said she was. And that's it, she even noticed my silent pleas at the meeting because I don't want to hurt you." Cyrus explained as he stroke his wife's hair and allow her head to rest unto his neck. Gardenia remained quiet. Cyrus waited for her to move or say anthing but she just kept leaning unto his neck. When Cyrus heared her breathing slowed down. He checked and saw his wife fast asleep. Cyrus just chuckled and remained in the same position until he dozed off.

Lehi woke up with the smell of familiar coffee. When she sat down, she saw Ophir walking toward their bed with two cup of coffees. Lehi smiled at him and Ophir gave her the cup. Lehi thanked him and drink her share. It felt better than the salt water filling up her lungs.

"How are you feeling?" Ophir asked as he tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Good, this coffee soothed my ribald system. Thanks." Lehi replied as she beamed at Ophir.

Ophir gently planted his forehead on hers and said.

"I missed you, wife."

Lehi was about to answer but her morning got greeted by Ophir's lips.

Gardenia rub her eyes and woke up in her husband's arms. When she looked up she got greeted by her husband's lips.

"How can you leave me hanging last night? When I was having my dilemma." Cyrus cutely inquired as he halted his wife from getting up.

"Your forgiven already, So let me get up and take a morning bath." Gardenia implied as she pinch her husband's nose. Cyrus cheekily smiled at her wife and carried her inside their bathroom.

"That sounds a good idea."

Gardenia blushed at his thought and protested, "That's not what I meant."

But Cyrus just ignored her protest and secured the bathroom's door.

Lehi got informed of what happened. Lehi, Nevi and Ophir sealed one book. Lehi put her palm on top of Ophir's and they both said Auto-harmony. When Lehi commanded a reverb her memories got sucked in. Ophir sealed it with the word tale bearer and bestowed the title.

"Bloody Accents." Nevi extended his hand and uttered the word Alms. The book cover got completedand the date got imprinted. Novena collected it and put it on the underground shelves.

Lila escorted Zayin and Aleph at the Capital of Acsents. After them, Lila transported the team with Evi and Waheb's house for cleaning, blessing and cleansing. The house that witnessed the couple's suffering became a new home after the Tale Bearer's visit. Gardenia paid them a visit personally and apologised at her inappropriate behaviour.

"How was your visit with Evi?" Cyrus inquired as he rested on his wife's neck.

Gardenia just grin at her husband. Cyrus wanted to roast his wife.

"Hey, I am slightly offended that you let other women wear the dress I personally designed for you and sorry won't be able to cover it up."

Gardenia shrink in shame at her previous attitude and cutely inquired.

"Then how do I make it up to you?"

Cyrus mischievously smirked at her wife and whispered at her ear.

"Wear it now. I want to sleep with you wearing my gift."
