As soon as Seo-yeon stepped out of the car, she felt the familiar presence of the large house.
Despite being away for a whole year it still had that soothing feeling but with bitter memories attached to it.
Some maids politely led them inside, with some of them looking at Seo-yeon with disbelief in their eyes. As soon as they got to the large living room, Seo-yeon looked around, glancing at everything.
The large wall which used to contain her picture, Ji-hoon's and Do-yun's large picture was now replaced by Do-yun's and Eun-ji's wedding picture. All the memories of her and Ji-hoon in that house had been cleared away, she thinned her lips in order to calm her emotions.
"Don't think about it Seo-yeon." Ma-ri softly said to her, knowing what her friend was thinking at the moment. Seo-yeon nodded before they settled gently. As she looked around, she prevented memories of the past from rushing back.
"This is your house?" Faint voice called in her head as she looked towards the main door with an image of her holding Do-yun happily flashed in her head. They both looked so happy and no one would think they would end up like that.
"Seo-yeon snapped out of it. They are coming down." Ma-ri quickly pulled her friend out of her deep trance before she finally composed herself.
Seo-yeon looked up at the stairs leading to the rooms, Do-yun and Eun-ji walked down the stairs hand in hand, laughing happily. Do-yun pinched her cheeks playfully as they continued further down the stairs.
Eun-ji's black dress fitted her body perfectly, enhancing her curves and all. Half of her breasts were open and all her cleavage could be easily seen. Her blue hair flowed down to her waist. Their attention turned away from each other when they got to the last stairs.
"Mmn. Ma-ri. I thought you'd be coming alone." Do-yun looked at his ex wife with disgust in his eyes. Eun-ji clutched to him tightly, leading him to the seat opposite both ladies.
"Welcome here you two. It's been long since I saw you both last. Except seeing you on TV Ma-ri." Eun-ji flashed her a smile that hid daggers. "Why don't you relax while we wait for our lawyer. I knew this isn't just something ordinary to come over with."
"Thank you for your care Eun-ji." Ma-ri frowned.
"You're welcome." She sat beside Do-yun, resting her head on his chest. "So how is business Seo-yeon? I'm sure you're thinking about my proposal aren't you? Three million won is a very little amount of money if you ask me. I should have charged about seven million won, don't you think because that place is worth it."
Seo-yeon dropped the file given to her by Eun-ji's lawyers on the table between them. "I'm going to leave the building by the tenth as your lawyer had told me."
A sly smirk appeared on Eun-ji's lips as she picked the file, glancing through it before placing it back on the table beside the place she sat.
"That's nice, I wouldn't like it any other way either. But if you don't mind, I would like to have a word with you privately."
Seo-yeon rolled her eyes before standing up, giving Ma-ri a look to tell her she would be okay and of course Ma-ri didn't doubt her and let her go. They both walked to the window of the open balcony which was showing a perfect view of the front yard.
"I see you're trying to prove stubborn Seo-yeon." The bitterness in her tongue was no longer hidden, "you should just pay the money already and keep the building. It wouldn't hurt to make money under me, don't you think?"
A wicked smirk formed on Eun-ji's lips as she played with the roses growing on the railing.
"I would rather die than do that."
Seo-yeon mumbled and a dark laughter escaped Eun-ji's lips.
"Oh you're so funny Seo-yeon. You know you can't own a restaurant again if you give this one up. I hope you've read it to that point in the contract." Eun-ji finally looked at her.
The friend Seo-yeon knew had vanished completely like she never even knew her at all. It was now replaced by a greedy and dubious husband snatcher.
"I trusted you Eun-ji. I never knew you could do this type of thing to me."
"Oh Seo-yeon. I didn't do anything. I just gave Do-yun a taste of life. A taste of real life and he enjoyed it and came crawling to it by himself. I didn't do anything much, so you should blame Do-yun and not me."
Eun-ji made a slight sound of popping the bubble of the gum in her mouth.
"I knew you had him do what he did. You had him tell me to quit because I was much better than you." Seo-yeon clenched her fist.
"He just helped out. I never had the intention to. I only had the intention to have him to myself and watch you suffer. You knew how much I liked Do-yun back in highschool, I would do anything for his love and yet you had him all to yourself. He was so blind to choose someone like you in the first place, you have nothing in comparison to me. You might have big boobs"
Eun-ji's gaze fell on Seo-yeon's gifted chest before looking back at her. "But you can't still please him as much as I do and he got that and picked me instead of you. You should be lucky I let you share him with me back then."
Seo-yeon's knuckles had turned white due to excessive clenching. She was trying her best to keep her cool right at the moment.
"Now I have him all to myself and there's nothing you can do about him because you're nothing but a piece of worthless trash to him. I rarely advise people Seo-yeon." Eun-ji placed her hands on Seo-yeon's shoulders with an evil smirk plastered across her lips.
"Just let go of him and pay up for the building. If you can't get three million won in a month, I can help you reduce the cost by two million won."
Seo-yeon pushed her hands off her shoulders and she only smiled. "It is your choice to make Seo-yeon. And remember you can't do anything about what I took from you after that accident you had."
