4 3: Neighbors!

Six footsteps was all you could hear.

I looked down the hall with a frown as I felt the cuffs on my hand feeling tighter. There were a bunch of rooms, but you could tell they were all empty except for a few because occupied ones had numbers on them.

The guards around me started to spread out. One by my door (Ryder), two by the end of the hallway (TimTom), another by the windows (Owen) and the last one somewhere in the middle (New guy).

"Boys, boys," I raised my hands once the cuffs came off. "Is this all necessary. I mean I know you want to protect me, but I am a very loveable person." I finished that sentence chuckling my last words.

"It's not you we're protecting," Ryder said. He had slid down the wall and was leaning on it looking very pleased with himself.

I just laughed and was about to close my door when some footsteps could be heard. I turned and looked at three very attractive guys.

"What the-" I slightly remembered that one. Wait a freaking minute!

"Neighbors!" I yelled with my hands wide open. They all turned to look at me. One of them stopped in his tracks and realization crossed my mind. "Wait, I remember you."

My finger was up and I took a step forward which made New guy and Ryder come next to me to ensure I did nothing wrong. Come on. I'm not that bad am I?

"You're the guy who got me lunch!" I bellowed. I drooled remembering the Tacos, fries and ice-cream very clearly. I grabbed his wallet from my bra and threw it at him. "Thanks for that by the way....Shallows."

His friends laughed at his bewildered expression as he tried to catch his wallet. At first it was shock and then anger when he realized what I had just said.

"My name is Sallow," he began taking slow steps towards me counting with his fingers, "If anyone here is shallow, it's you," two, "Why are you here?" three, "And get the f*** out of my face."

"1. Sorrow your name just really sounds like shallow which is ironic.2. I live here now.3. Language and....." did he just..." Did you just call me shallow?"

The guards began to hold my hands when the saw me quivering. Ryder just rubbed my hand making me calm down a bit, "Aw, is the wittle bwit scawed. Do you want me to call your mummy for you?"

***Random Flashbacks***

"You're just a pathetic child stop struggling!"

"Is the little baby scared?"

"Help her!"

"Psycho."

"Dramatic loser!"

"No! Let me go! Let me go-!"

***End of flashbacks*** (Yes these happened and they hold a specific meaning)

My eyes that were shut burst open with a knew deadliness.

I couldn't control what happened next. I kicked a guard in the shin while punching the other square in the jaw. I turned around and elbowed the other in the face while the one I kicked got up.

I palmed his nose upwards causing him to pass out. I wacked the second one in the neck extremely hard and new guy tried to taser me. I grabbed the taser and tasered him for a very long time.

Ryder tried to attack me but I just pinched a spot on his neck and he was out. Tom was the only one left who wasn't either in pain or about to die. I swung my legs low causing him to lose balance and I shoved him in the direction of the wall.

He hit his head hard and was also knocked out. Blood now stained my clothes. I turned back to Mr. Shallow and I creeped very slowly towards him.

He tried to hide how impressed he was and how he was fearing for his life. "Go to your rooms," I instructed the other two.

One stayed there while the other backed away very slowly. "That was impressive, but you don't know who you're talking to," Ace said. I kicked him in the balls and grabbed the knife from my bra.

I stabbed his friend and then turned to him and held the knife by his neck, "Apologize," I growled. He just started chuckling.

I put enough pressure on his neck for blood to draw, "Your a psychopath!" he yelled. I just laughed and then shoved the knife into his muscle.

"Never tell a psycho they're a psychopath,' I whispered and began to pull out the knife very slowly. I enjoyed watching his face contour in pain because since this knife was serrated it hurt more coming out instead of in.

I turned when I heard a slight gasp. The other guy who backed away walked over to me clapping. "Impressive!"

I let go of Ace and then stretched my hand out to him, "Hey, I'm Carla. And you are?" I asked politely.

He smiled as he looked at my hand and shook it, "Tony," he said simply. We walked into my room and I turned on the TV to see Winx Club.

"SO what stage are you in and why?" I asked going straight to the point. I don't like to waste time and I'm not a very patient person.

"Stage A+ for rape of four women two men," he said lying back as if many people asked him this question. His head turned to me, "You?"

"Toxic AZ, highest level in this damn school," I did a little victory dance in the chair which made me look strange, but I could care less. "And I would rather not say why." I just stared into space for a while.

I slapped the little critter so hard, her mouth started bleeding. She reminded me of Nora which made me kick her harder because it was her fault for following me.

I shook my head and the alarm started ringing. I smirked. I loved being caught, because the reason why I started all this was because I wanted them to feel my frustration and pain.

There was a rustling sound outside the door and then someone decided to kick down my door. I lifted my hands up in the air and frowned.

"The door was unlocked no need for drama," I stated. They hesitated for a second before running up to me in their heavy clothing and metal clinking.

They're steps were in unison as guns were pointed at Tony and I. The one in the front waved his hand forward and two guards grabbed my hands and made me sit down while the other's started searching around in my room.

After a few moments one of them nodded at the leader and the leader turned around to look at the door and copied the previous nod. A path was cleared and then there she stood, in all her glory, my adoptive mother.

I smiled at her and she just looked down at me with the ghost of a smile on her face. I would've been offended, but she has to keep a tough exterior.

She had black hair and hazel colored eyes that betrayed no emotion which I admired. Her dark red lipstick made every color on her face more evident.

"Carla," she nodded in greeting and I did the same. Her attention snapped to Tony who was struggling in the guards restrains. "And you are?"

Fun fact about my adoptive mother, she was the leader of the mafia I was supposed to lead when I turned of age. "Tony," I turned my head and saw his wide eyes and I had to hold back a laugh.

Her gaze lingered on him for a second before shooting her accusing eyes in my direction making me squirm a little.

"Carla, we've talked about this," her posture was so perfect and acute. It made me jealous of how she could stand upright without doubling over in pain.

"But mum!" I whined like a child and she shot her hand up to silence me.

"Don't 'but mum' me now," she looked so serious. I wonder how she does it, "If I come here one more time, I will have no other choice but to take you to an actual prison, so don't make me do that."

I nodded silently shivering at my memories of my two years in prison which made me cringe.

"Why did you do this anyway?" she clasped her hands in front of her carefully. She looked so sophisticated, "Did someone steal your ice cream again?"

It honestly wasn't a joke and that's what made me tense up, "No," I hesitated for a bit feeling the anger in my body rise slightly.

She looked at me expectantly as a guard grabbed a chair for her and placed it in front of me. My mother, Christine, sat down and leaned forward slightly.,

"He called me shallow, told me to f off, laughed in my face, made fun of me, called me a baby, and mentioned you," I cold feel myself shaking slightly so I took a deep breath, "And now you're here!"

I tried to lighten the mood, but Christine just shot me a tired look at my pathetic attempt then stared at me with a calculating look.

"He really did dig himself a grave there I nodded my head in agreement since she was taking my side. "Now what did you say to trigger this?"

"Does it really matter?" I felt like the number of eyes on me was very pressurizing, none of them laughing, "I called him Shallow though his name is Swallow, Sallone, I don't know, but before that I stole his wallet after he made fun of me."

Christine shook her head and turned muttering something to the guard next to her.

"So we're basically equal," I shrugged and the sudden movement caused a few guards to take a cautious step towards me making me laugh, "Don't worry, chill. I won't hurt you guys. Just don't piss me off."

After a few moments of Christine talking to the three people in suits next to her she looked back a me and gave me warning.

"One more slip-up then off you go to prison."
