He walked towards Neha's room.

He pushed it "Locked, shit!"

He could see dim lights in her room "She's probably awake"

He lightly knocked on her door.

Neha, who was reading inside was creeped out by the sound.

She didn't move.

Sanjay banged on the door again.

"Who the hell is it…" she thought.

She slowly walked near the door "Who is it?" she asked.

Her voice made him go wild.

"There is an emergency downstairs. Mr. Oberoi asked me to call you" He lied, hoping she would open the door.

Neha instantly knew it was a lie, "I'll call Mr. Oberoi and ask him about it. You can go."

"Smart bitch!" He murmured.

"Listen, you open the door, let me in, and I'll save you from Armaan." Sanjay said, his voice hoarse.

"I don't need your help. You should go down before I call Mr. Oberoi. It wouldn't turn out good for you"

Sanjay was furious but it also scared him. He knew this was going to be the end of everything. He knew this was going to be the last time him being in Armaan's house

He went back to Armaan's room, took his car keys and left the house without a sign.

Next morning, Neha went to Mr. Oberoi and told him what's happened near the door.

Mr. Oberoi called up Armaan and asked him to cut all the business ties with Sanjay. Armaan tried to convince Mr. Oberoi. But for Mr. Oberoi, Neha was priority. Anyone who would hurt Neha had to face Mr, oberoi's wrath, no matter how near and dear to him they are.

Armaan had to listen to Mr. Oberoi because his commands were the final.

Armaan cut all his ties with Sanjay.

Sanjay was not happy with Mr. Oberoi's decision, because it sent his business into a down fall.

That was the final time anyone heard of him….

"Neha…" Armaan called out, waking her up from her dreams.

"Ye-Yes…" Neha muttered.

"You know Sanjay right?" Armaan said, like it was obvious.

Neha nodded.

Sanjay Was smirking at her and winked at her when Armaan wasn't looking.

Neha turned her face away.

"By the way" Armaan continued "He is also going to Canada. For his business meeting."

Neha was shocked.

"He is going to stay there for few months" Armaan said.

Neha panicked.

"I got to go, see you soon I guess?" Sanjay said.

Armaan nodded

Armaan went towards the luggage trolley, that's when Sanjay came near Neha and said, "Invite me over dinner. We've a lot of talking of talking to do" He winked at her and left…
