"Dude Nehaaa!"

A shout in the quiet library made Neha startled.

Well, it was not new for her. She was used to Vivek shouting her name across hallways, libraries, playgrounds, etc.

That kind of made quiet Neha popular in her college.

She was literally known as Vivek's guardian.

He was always hovering over her. They were BEST FRIENDS.

At least that's what they said.

Many people suspected them for being couples, because they were always together. Library, canteen, class, ground, and every corner of the college.

There was no Neha without Vivek and no Vivek without Neha.

They were one perfect example of "a boy and a girl CAN be best friends."

Neha looked around, "There you go again". All eyes on her, some angry, some laughing, some sympathetic and some "know it all".

She was used to those stares.

She looked at the door to find Vivek foolishly smiling at her.

She immediately packed her stuff up to leave the library.

The librarian has already given up on these two.

The angry lady shot a glare at Neha who awkwardly smiled and ran out of library.

"How many times do I have to tell you? Hollering my name around college, what do you get??" Neha was annoyed.

"Ne-Ne-Nehaaaaaaaaa" Vivek's eyes were gleaming with excitement, ignoring her angry face he went on "I've got something very veryvery exciting! Trust me you'll be surprised"

"Ya, it better be exciting." Neha announced as they walked towards their crowded cafeteria.

It was tough finding a table to sit with such crowd.

"So, I'll save a table and If you want to know what surprise I've, you have to buy me my regular masala chai. Right now!" Vivek grinned.

"That's not fair Vivi!!" Neha threw her hands in the air, but she knew she had no other option.

After getting her coffee and his chai, she stumbled in the crowd trying to find Vivek.

"Eyy!! Right here" Vivek's voice was audible even in the crowd.

"What is it. Tell me RIGHT NOW." Neha demanded.

"Wait my darling, let me take a sip" Vivek sipped on his tea. "Ahh! I can do this all day!" He exclaimed as he looked at Neha.

"Yes Captain America lite, WHAT IS IT?" Neha asked

"Calm down Calm down young lady. First of all, tell me, what's today's date?" Vivek asked, a suspicious smile appearing on his face.

"What!? Are you playing games with me?"

"No Neha, answer my question."

"Alright…It's 26th April."

"Ya…What's special about today?" Vivek raised an eyebrow

"Oh my god Vivi, you better not play games with me. I don't know, you tell me"

Vivek let out a sigh "You are a disgrace for the MCU"

"Wait, What? "

Suddenly Neha face palmed, remembering "Ya, the end game is releasing today. But what about it…?

Vivek smiled "guess what?"

Neha looked suspiciously.

Vivek slid his hands inside the pocket.

Slowly he looked at her and smiled, Neha was confused.

And he pulled out two paper chits.

"NO WAYYYY!" Neha screamed looking at the two movie tickets

Vivek nodded all excited.

Neha jumped up from her chair and screamed in excitement. Her screams made the whole cafeteria to fall in silence.

Without making much scene they ran out of the cafeteria.

"What the hell? From did you get these?" she asked.

"I had to pay lot, but it's worth it…right?"

Both MCU fans were gleaming as if they have been declared worthy of the mighty hammer, Mjolnir. Buying tickets for a MCU movie's first day first show was difficult.

In a jolt, their smiles faded away, when they realized their excitement all went in vain.

"How did I forgot. Shit…" Vivek exclaimed.

Neha put her head down in disappointment.

She has never been out with her friends after that one incident.

She recalls the time when she went for Anjali's birthday party and the one and only jackass found out and made up false stories to fill into papa's ears.

Luckily Mr. Oberoi understood when she explained things out.

But, she knew if Armaan finds out that she went out again, he's going to get not only her, but also her friends in trouble.

She so wanted to go for the movie because it was not easy no get tickets for such movies.

Neha took a deep breath and at that moment Vivek knew, "She has come with a plan"

"You know what? I have decided" she paused "I'm taking the risk. We're going for the movies"

Vivek jumped up in excitement "REALLY!? But…" he hesitated "Is it safe for you?".

"I don't care. I'M GOING!!" She announced.

"Oh so the 'best couple' is going for a date huh?"

Vivek and Neha turned to see Ayisha smirking at them.

Neha rolled her eyes "Oh come on! How many times do I have to tell you…"

" Ya that you guys are not couples, just 'best friends'" Ayisha stopped Neha in mid sentence and completed her dialogue.

"Come on guys! We know. Why do you need to hide?"

"Who knows what?" Neha asked with a straight face.

"I know" Ayisha pointed at a group of friends sitting in the ground "they know, the whole freaking college knows. It's that obvious. Just..Just stop playing the 'we are just best friends' game. You lose we won" She said, eyeing Vivek.

Neha rolled her eyes yet again and looked over at Vivek.

Neha saw something that she has never seen in Vivek's eyes and face.
