Najimi, Komi, and I were walking back from school and we were talking about "SardinDon Ovalshirt"
(A/N: I swear to god if none of you get the reference Imma whoop your asses)
"By the way Tadano-kun have you seen SardinDon's las episode?"
"Yeah I did! I remember when Mr. Snale tried to sell SardinDon's soul for 62 cents. It was really funny!"
[It was a nice episode]
We kept talking until Najimi started to talk about Runescape with me. We talked about which one of us would get a skill to level 99 first and get a cape. As Najimi and I continued to talk about Runescape I realized we were leaving Komi-san out of the conversation.
"Komi-san, would you like to play with us?"
Komi froze for a bit before she nodded and we told her about it. We decided to help Komi on the weekend to get Runescape on the family computer of her house.
[Would you like to come to my house?]
'HOLY SHIT!!!'
'Komi just asked us to go to her house for the weekend, but that's normal for gradeschoolers right? I used to do it all the time in past life so this is perfectly normal right?!!?'
As I was freaking out Najimi answered
"Sure! I would love to! how about we study there also since I haven't completed the subtraction assignment."
When I heard this I just deadpanned. Of course Najimi hasn't completed it yet 'she's' got the spirit of a procrastinator. Since Najimi agreed so easily I might as well do so as well.
"S-sure I wouldn't mind"
'Shit why did I stutter! now Komi must think I'm a pussy'
(Komi POV)
When Najimi and Tadano started to talk about their game I felt kind of lonely since they weren't talking to me anymore. I almost started trembling until Tadano decided to aske me if I wanted to play with them, and I agreed.
They were talking about how they were going to install Runescape into my home's family computer. I always heard about how friends invite each other to their houses to play so I thought this would be a great opportunity to invite them.
[Would you like to come to my house?]
As soon as they read it Tadano-san froze and I was scared that maybe he wouldn't want to come. I was about to start shaking until Najimi answered my question.
"Sure! I would love to! how about we study there also since I haven't completed the subtraction assignment."
As soon as I heard 'her' answer I was ecstatic but I still wanted to hear Tadano's answer.
"S-sure I wouldn't mind"
As soon as he said that I felt really happy! I don't know why I didn't feel this way with Najimi but whenever it's with Tadano-san I always get this warm fuzzy feeling in my chest.
I also noticed his stutter which I found kind of cute. I decided to tease him a bit since I want to see his reaction.

I then looked at him and smirked

As soon as I read that I looked at Komi-san's face as she smirked at me. My face started to feel hot as I turned away from her. I heard Najimi chuckle and assure Komi I was not angry.
We then walked home together until our paths split, I reached home and decided to grind on Runescape for a bit and got level 26 in my constitution and strength.
(Time Skip)
I told my mom that I would stay the night at a friend's house and she agreed. Komi actually asked us for a sleep over yesterday, and since it's Friday today I asked my mom knowing there was a high chance of her accepting.
As I was walking to school Najimi, Komi, and I met where our paths crossed and we headed to school together. We went to school and nothing interesting really happened.
Although there was this one kid who climbed the monkey bars with his feet. It was pretty impressive until he cried since he couldn't get down on his own. A teacher was called and he was reprimanded about how dangerous his stunt was.
Everything went as usual, teachers teaching, kids messing around with each other, and me sitting in a corner alone eating lunch until Komi and Najimi appeared, all in all, quite a productive day.
(Time Skip)
It was the end of the day and me, Najimi, and Komi are heading to her house to help her install Runescape and play with her. It was a Friday today anyway so if it gets too late I can call my parents and tell them I'm staying the night. As we were walking Komi tugged on my shirt and pointed towards a normal Japanese home which I assumed was hers.
As we walked to wards the front of the house there was a nameplate saying "Komi", so this was definitely her house. As we approached the door Komi opened it and we headed inside while shouting "Sorry for the intrusion".
We were standing at the doorway removing our shoes until we saw a woman come out from the corridor with a laundry basket. She looked like an older Komi with short hair, she was wearing a light yellow shirt with a pair of dark blue jeans and a dark lavender apron with ankle socks. As soon as she saw us she dropped the laundry basket and smiled brightly.
"OH MY GOODNESS! Shouko brought home friends. Dear, look she has 2 friends, how exciting!"
"Nice to meet you Miss, we're Komi-chan's friends! I'm Najimi, and this is Tadano."
"Nice to meet you too Miss Komi."
"Moouuu~~~ don't call me Miss Komi, it makes me feel old! After all I'm the eternal 17 year old, Komi Shuuko!"
Komi's mother said this pouting at first then striking a pose which could only be seen as bizarre.
(A/N: This reference is so obvious, if you don't get it I will kill myself!)
"Anyway, come in, come in, meet the rest of us I'm sure Shouko is very excited."
As soon as she said that I looked at Komi only to see her trembling, except I've seen her different trembles, she is currently happy trembling right now so I don't have to worry about anything right now.
We were pushed to the living room of the Komi household and there we saw 2 people. The first one being a man who seemed to be in his mid-thirties, who looked stoic with a few wrinkles here and there. He was wearing a white polo shirt with khaki pants and black socks, he is also wearing a pair of rectangular glasses. He was reading the current newspaper.
The second person here was a boy, one year younger than Komi, he had curly hair that covered his eyes, he was wearing a long-sleeved black shirt with cargo shorts. He was reading a shounen manga called "Kaida Sphere Y"
I introduced myself to them alongside Najimi and then we went to the corner of the living room where their home computer is at. We then installed Runescape in the computer and helped Komi set up her account. Her username is "Nekopii", apparently Komi really likes cats.
We then realized that it was 7:30 p.m. so I decided to tell my parents that I would be staying the night at a friends and that I would come back tomorrow. My parents were obviously worried but I reassured them. Shuuko, she told us to call her that since it makes her young apparently, then lead us to Komi's room which was a simple desk for studying, a couple of shelves with some books, and a bed with white covers and blankets as well as a few pillows and plushies.
Miss Shuuko then prepared 2 futons for me and Najimi. Miss Shuuko told us that since we're Komi's friends we can stay in the same room, instead of the living room. We then went back downstairs towards the dining room where Miss Shuuko prepared dinner.
She cooked some delicious food, there was grilled salmon, miso soup, and even takoyaki! I was pleasantly surprised by the spread of dishes shown. We then said thank you for the food but while I was eating I realized Komi-san's father was staring at me.
(Masayoshi Komi POV)
My daughter, Shouko, brought home some friends, I was very happy since she always seemed sad about her lack of communication to others. She then came home happy all of a sudden saying she made friends which surprised me yet it made my heart melt when I saw Shouko smile like that.
She then brought her friends home telling me it was to install a game in the computer so they could play together, which I allowed since it would make Shouko happy. Then her friends came in, first the silver-haired girl introduced herself to me, it seems my Shouko was adopted by an extrovert. Then, there was the boy.
He seemed nice, but my precious daughter can't be corrupted by a boy, I have to protect her. So I made sure to keep an eye on the boy. My wife told me that since it was late they could sleep in Shouko's room. I was shocked, a boy in my daughter's room, I was terrified what would he do to her!? I glared at him while we ate the dinner my beautiful wife prepared.
(Shousuke Komi POV)
I was reading some manga until I was interrupted by some other kids were introducing themselves. A silver-haired girl with what seemed like a bright personality flamboyantly introduced herself as Najimi. Then a normal-looking boy introduced himself, then I noticed my sister looked at him with her ears slightly red. I then realized Shouko likes this guy, all I have to say is that Shouko better not be hurt by this guy.
They then decided to spend the night, and as we ate dinner I noticed dad was staring at that Tadano guy. Tadano-san looked very nervous so I decided to tug on my dad's shirt and he looked at me and we had a silent argument.
"......."
"............."
"..."
"...."
My dad stopped glaring at the Tadano guy.
(Tadano POV)
Thank you Shousuke! I will repay you someday for this I swear.
We continued eating with some idle banter comming from Miss Shuuko, while the rest of the family was silent.
W then finished eating dinner and we took a bath, and watched some t.v. with the Komi family until it was time to sleep. Miss Shuuko gave me and Najimi some onesies and a shirt and shorts to wear under it. She gave Najimi a white cat onesie, while I got a grey cat onesie. Then Komi-san came back after her bath wearing a black cat onesie.
We then brushed our teeth and headed to Komi-san's room. My futon was next to Komi-san's bed and Najimi's was closer to her closet. We then went to sleep, but then I woke up to a crying Komi clinging to my chest.
(Shouko Komi POV)
I was in the dark and for some reason I couldn't see anything. I then saw Najimi and Tadano with their backs towards me and I grabbed their shoulders and they looked at me. They were glaring at me and I don't know why.
"Look at her, always silent, I bet she's insulting us under her breath!"
Wait, what? why would Najimi say that? I thought Najimi knew about my communication troubles
"She thinks she's cool acting like some silent protagonist. I bet she just does it to get some sort of attention, how pathetic!"
Why is Tadano-san so angry? why are they so mean to me?
"we've been friends for a while now right? How come we can't even call each other by our first names."
But that's becau-..... why ahven't we called each other by our names.
"Look at her teary eyes, she's so pitiful right now."
Wait why are you walking away! Please we can still be friends! I can talk, I can be loud, I can call you by your first name!
Just please don't leave me!
I then sat up. I found myself in my bed with Najimi and Tadano in their futons. I then started tearing up. I don't wa*hic*nt them to *hic* lea*hic*ve me. Tadano and Najimi are my first friends. I then started ti crawl out of my bed and into Tadano's futon.
I started crying and sobbing into his chest hoping he wouldn't leave me. Then I felt him move and I looked at his face. His eyes were open.
(Tadano POV)
I saw Komi crying clinging to my chest and I was confused. Why was she here and not in her bed sleeping.
I then heard her sobbing, silent voice ask me
"Pl*sob*ease don't *hic* leave me."
When I saw Komi look like this I hugged her. She looked so sad and hurt, I wonder why but there are more important things right now. I then asked Komi what was wrong and she responded with this.
"Please *sob* call me...Shouko *hic*"
She wants me to call her by her first name? I wonder why, but it's not like I'll refuse her while she's like this.
"Okay Shouko, then how about you call me Hito-kun from now on"
She looked at me with wide eyes and she slowly nodded her head and I heard the faint whisper of:
"Hito-*hic* kun"
I smiled hearing this and I sung a lullaby to help her sleep. Thank the system for Freddie Mercury's musical talent. I then slowly lulled her to sleep, apparently my voice can also make *yawn* me sleepy. I guess it's time to slee-.....
(Najimi POV)
I woke up cause I had to pee but, I heard Hito-kun sing and suddenly I- *snore*
