I've finally graduated pre-school! It was so boring just answering simple questions like "What's 3+5?" or "What colors turn into orange?", it was so obnoxious. I would've died from the boredom if I didn't read my parents books and talk to Najimi.
Fun fact, Najimi started gambling in pre-school, I saw them play odds or even with a cup and two die. Apparently they were playing for action figures from a show called "Strong Rouges", it's about a bunch of color-coded spandex heroes fighting aliens using Mecha-shift fish or something like that.
(A/N: For those who didn't get the reference I'm very disappointed in you.)
As I was heading to the Kindergarten classroom I saw Najimi talking with a bunch of guys, apparently Najimi's gender for the school year is Male. I got a bunch of new skills as well from a few quests.

Man it's so easy to do things now especially with Light's and Senku's knowledge I am one of the smartest people in the world. Light is smarter than Senku from what I could tell, but Senku had the advantage on how much knowledge one had.
As I was entering the classroom Najimi put their hand around me and talked about all the cartoons from this world which in all honesty kind of look like bootleg versions of my world's cartoons. I mean instead of "Micky Mouse" they got "Ricky Rat", "Tom and Jerry" is now "Dave and Sonny", "Regular Show"? more like "Bizarre Series".
Najimi and I talked with each other until class started. While the teacher was talking about math I started to read "The Shadow Over Innsmouth". It's an H.P. Lovecraft novel which involves a lot of fish people and the fear of the unknown.
I was reading when I was disturbed by the kid next to me asking to pass a note to someone named Takashi. I didn't know who that was so I passed the note to Najimi and told 'him' to pass it to the kid.
*Time Skip*
I'm at home now and I'm playing some Runescape since not a lot of games have been made yet. Najimi and I play all the time after school, we grinded on the weekends for the past few months and now all skills are level 25 for both of us.
(A/N: I only thought of this prompt since it's probably like 2005 for them so I decided to check out runescape. I'm now addicted.)
It was fun playing with Najimi since we mostly ran around doing quests and the hardest to level up though was the Thieving skill, so many merchant backhands. Anyway me and Najimi were walking back from school when we saw another kid in the park alone.
Since Najimi is Najimi 'he' decided to go greet the other kid. From what I can see from afar it seems to be a girl wearing a white shirt with two blue stripes at the top half of the shirt, a dark blue skirt, stockings, and sneakers. She also had short hair that doesn't go below the neck.
As I saw Najimi talking to the girl 'he' starts to slowly walk away as I see the other girl tremble a bit. I decided to go help Najimi with whatever trouble 'he's' in. As I was walking towards them I can faintly see a dark aura around the girl so I decided to interfere more quickly. As I was about to talk to the girl I recognized her.
(A/N: I timeskipped to the 3rd grade)
'IT'S FUCKING KOMI!!!!!!'
I was screaming internally while keeping a poker face. Komi-san looked really scary right now with the trembling, but she looked cute. The more I look at her she had smooth white skin, small pink lips, slightly narrow eyes, and long eyelashes. If I were to summarize it up she looked like a child actress you would see in commercials for summer dresses.
I decided to talk to her since I've just been given this opportunity to fix her communication disorder already. Maybe we can play Runescape with her once we get to be friends.
"Hello! My name's Tadano Hitohito, what's yours?"
Komi just stood their menacingly but I knew the truth. Najimi was behind my back slightly shaking from Komi's stares. I decided to ask the question that would change the course of the plot and the entire personality of some characters.
"Sorry for being forward but, do you have trouble speaking?"
Komi then froze for a second or two then lightly nodded her head. Najimi saw this and decided it was fine if 'he' came out from behind me. I then nodded my head as well as a sign of understanding. I then brought a notepad from my bag and held it out to her.
She slowly reached out her hands to see if I would do anything to her. I just smiled and shook the notepad a bit then she grabbed it and took a pencil out of her bag to write with. She quickly and nervously wrote on the notepad quickly. The she showed us the notepad with her question.
[How did you know I had trouble speaking?]
"I could just tell from how you acted."
Komi then nodded and wrote some more questions and I answered them. Eventually Najimi joined in on the conversation and we chatted for a while until we realized it was getting a bit late. Then Komi trembled a bit and wrote on the notepad the question I was expecting to get way later on.
[Will you be my friend?]
So with the best smile I could muster and the kindest voice I could produce I answered
"Absolutely!"
Najimi with 'his' usual cheerful attitude also answered
"Of course!"
And with that we said our goodbyes and went our separate ways home. Najimi and I walked together for a while until the road split and we separated. I was jogging home and jumping with joy since I met Komi-san earlier that expected.
As soon as I got home my mother asked why I was late and I told her I made a new friend other than Najimi. My mother celebrated since she knew I was an introvert and thought this was a great event or something. Although as soon as she found out the friend I made was a girl she totally went berserk, I'm talking bat-shit crazy here.
My mom told me to ask her for a playdate or even friend her on Runescape which is actually not a bad idea. I then greeted Hitomi played with her for a bit then watched some cartoons with her. Then I ate dinner, played with Hitomi a bit more until dad got home then we all went to sleep.
Right before I went to sleep though a notification popped up

(Komi-san POV)
I was sitting in the park alone since I didn't have any friends. I don't know why it's so hard to talk to people. As soon as someone gets in front of me I get really nervous and start to shake, all the other kids think it's scary so I just stay alone.
As I got up from the swing to get out of the park a kid with silver popped up in front of me and started to greet me. They started to talk a lot but I couldn't say anything and started shaking. I saw the other kid who I hear was named Najimi start to look scared and I felt really bad since I wasn't doing on purpose.
I wanted to leave until another kid stepped in and decided to talk to me, I was still shaking so he probably will start getting scared as well. Then he told me his name
"Hello! My name's Tadano Hitohito. What's yours?"
I was surprised since he talked to me so casually when I was shaking and then he asked If I had trouble speaking. I flinched since I didn't know he would figure it out so quickly and then I nodded. He replied with understanding and then he reached in his bag and handed me a notepad. He seemed very kind so I took the pad with some hesitation and introduced myself.
We started talking with each other and even Najimi joined in. I never felt this feeling before, is this what mom calls friendship if so it's very nice. We talked for a bit more until Tadano noticed it was getting late so we decided to say bye. But before they went away I wrote quickly on the notepad with a question.
[Will you be my friend?]
They replied with a yes! I was so happy, these were the first friends I ever made. I then went home skipping since I felt so happy, I smiled all the way home and while skipping I noticed a lot of people looking at me but I didn't care, since I now have friends.
When I got home my mom greeted me and asked about my day. I told her mostly about what work we did in school until we reached the part about my new friends.
"You made friends Shouko?! This is amazing! Tonight calls for a celebration, I'll call your dad and brother! Shouko made friends! BANZAI!!!"
Mom was very happy, after that My mom made some spaghetti and we ate a lot tonight. My dad seemed happy that I made friends and my brother was proud from what I could tell. I then went to my room to sleep until I realized I forgot to give Tadano back his notepad!
I started to panic until I realized, he gave it to me right? So it's a gift? Does that mean it's mine, It must be mine then. I got the notepad out of my bag and hugged it. I felt a really nice, I felt all warm and fuzzy in my chest when I think about what happened today especially with Tadano.
(3rd Person POV)
As Komi went to sleep thinking about Tadano, our hero was thinking about how to get Komi more friends for the plot. He kept thinking until 2 a.m. and finally went to sleep. He decided to start a gang in OG Tadano's middle school chuuni days.
