18 Kim Tachibana

Tachibana stays up with Tori who isn't sleeping and that's unlike him he should be sleeping by now. A knock on the door breaks their play time Tachibana lifts Tori up opening the door, shutting it the instant he sees who it is.

"How rude of you Ken, is that any way to greet your sister?" She notices Tori and gasps, "So it's true, you have a baby!

"I'm so sorry Hitori your stupid old man didn't tell me anything, but not to worry because aunty Kim is here to spoil you rotten."

She smiles and puts the gift bags down. One in particular startles Tori and Tachibana because it moved, "His name is Bolt." Kim announces and the small pup walks out of the bag running around the place.

Tori wiggles out of Tachibana's hold following the pup as it goes up and down.

"Aww, I'm so happy he likes the gift."

Tachibana glares at Kim he knows she means well, but she gives too much and it can get annoying, "We're trying to avoid turning him into a spoilt brat I'd appreciate it if you could cooperate, anyway, would you like something to drink?"

"We? Did you just use the word we? The worlds coming to an end, but I figured that out when my twin brother had a child before me."

"Take your mutt with you when you leave Kim."

"That's not your choice to make baby bro." She walks around the place and finds the fridge, pouring herself a glass of juice sitting down to talk to Tachibana while he's secretly hoping she won't tell anyone it's his birthday and some of the gifts are for him.

"What did you get me this year?" Kim asks.

Tachibana walks to his bedroom and pulls out the big box he somehow managed to hide for 2 days. He checks on Yuno before leaving the room and presenting Kim with her birthday gift. 

Yuno gets out of the tub and gets dressed walking downstairs to find Tori asleep with a puppy sleeping next to him. She over hears Tachibana talking with a female voice that sounds familiar.

Kim jumps from her seat and covers her mouth so she doesn't wake Tori, but still insists on giving Yuno a big hello.

"When he said we it caught me off guard, but he was serious." She turns to Ken then back to Yuno checking her finger, "Ken don't tell me you did not …"

"Don't!"

Yuno stares confused as Tachibana's mood sours up.

He gets out of his seat pecking Yuno on the lips before checking her hand, "You feeling okay?"

She nods looking behind him and recognises Kim from when she worked at Tachibana's, on her official first day they got stuck on the elevator together.

Kim was more excited then she should've been about getting stuck in an elevator.

"You remember me. Yay. So, what do you have planned for Ken's birthday?"

"He's baby sitting and I'm going to sleep, nothing special about his birthday, ask me that question when we're talking about his funeral."

Tachibana smirks and leaves to take a long shower hoping when he gets out Kim will be gone.

Yuno screams, and he jumps out of the shower to find the Puppy running back to Tori, "Hey, what's with the puppy? I packed it with the toys thinking it was a new edition, when suddenly it came to life and I dropped it."

"Kim's gift to Tori we're not keeping it."

"She's your sister tell her that not me." Yuno grabs her keys and opens the door to see it dark out. She woke up sure it was morning.

"You sure you're okay?"

"Yes."

She goes back to bed and Tachibana sleeps on the couch since he doesn't want to wake Tori up, it might be harder to get him to sleep or deal with his tantrums when he's exhausted.

Yuno wakes up and Tachibana insists on being a chauffer. She pecks Tori and turns to Tachibana feeling awkward for a split second. Tachibana kisses her and smirks.

When Yuno is out of sight he drives to his sisters lab to deal with Tori's ability glitching. He's still too young to sit him down and show him how it works and what to do.

He walks into the building and Tori frowns last time he was here Kim went overboard with the tests

Tachibana's impressed Tori still remembers the place Kim smiles when she sees them, "Is it just me or is he taller?"

"Yeah, he's growing up too fast."

Kim smiles watching Tachibana with Tori she never thought there'd ever be a day where she sees her twin brother actually holding a baby and being a great father, it makes her very happy, she was convinced this part of him was completely shut down.

"This way please."

He follows behind her and sits at the side chair while Kim pulls out two bracelets and puts them on Tori's hand.

"I've been working on these since the last time he was here."

"They won't hurt him will they? Yuno won't be happy about that."

"Nope, so you guys have fun tomorrow out there. It's really amazing what you did for all those people and this next announcement is sure to put a block on the new Law that restricts usage of abilities unless you have a special permit."

"It's all a ploy to increase our countries military strength because while we were acting like kids shunning Supers other countries were quick to embrace the idea and concept.

"They did an excellent job at forming a way to work together giving them a sense of purpose as well as giving their countries military strength that could over power other nations in an instant."

Tori looks at Tachibana with a frown and a light whimper, "What?" Tori cries out of the blue. "Hitori we talked about this, I don't understand tears, use your words."

Kim goes out and comes back with a small puppy laying it next to Tori. He stops crying watching it. Tachibana is curious to see what he will do.

Kim looks at Tori on his stomach giggling at the Puppy licking his face today's session went well and it looks like Tori made a new friend too, "So? Yuno won't be happy about it huh!"

Tachibana groans, "We're leaving, you're done right?"

"Yup."

Tachibana picks up Tori but he wiggles in his arms, so he puts him down. Tori runs to Kim with his hands raised. She picks him up.

"What do you want?" Tachibana asks knowing this is one of the tantrums he won't be able to solve without Yuno, so he just gives him what he wants and all will be well in his life.

Tori points at the puppy and Tachibana is seconds away from calling Yuno and dragging her over here because all will not be well with his life when he has a toddler and a puppy to worry about, "That's a husky right?" 

"That's a wolf and you know it."

Kim's eyes widen when Tori pecks her cheek, "You can keep it Ken I'm sure he'll get bored of him in a day or two, so bring him back then."

Tachibana walks out of the room, straight to the car, and drives to his office. He'll come back for Tori when he's sleeping, or when the dog bites him and he wants nothing to do with it.

Yuno goes outside glad it's after school and Tachibana arrived right on time. She gets in the car and he drives to Kim's lab to fetch Tori.

They find him in a walking ring chasing the puppy up and down having the time of his life. Yuno hides behind Tachibana knowing Tori will start acting like a total dick if he sees her.

"He's having so much fun, can we keep it?" Tachibana turns around and Yuno is dead serious about.

"It stays outside, it plays outside, and it will be back within a day or two when Hitori is sick of it."

"Yay!"

Tori turns his head in the direction he heard Yuno's voice racing to her arms. She picks him up and walks towards Kim talking about the bracelet, but the conversation is cut short by Tachibana rushing everyone to leave. They have a long trip ahead of them.

Ackerman looks around the forest. Intel suggests that this is where he'll find Kaminari and he still needs to make it in time for tomorrow, or else Tachibana will kill him, then again he can just ask Yuno to cover for him and everything would be solved.

"Tachibana's lap dog, take him out."

He can't see who said that and it's really bothering him because he can't have his shield up forever, or save himself from attacks that travel underground.

All he has to do is send a signal and run Tachibana said someone else will handle the rest of the situation.

Ackerman catches a glimpse of Aiko, "I hate it when Tachibana is right." He mutters running for his life getting in his car driving to the safest place he knows.

Aiko wants Kaminari dead yes, but she wants to benefit from that and in order for that to happen she needs to get on Kaminari's good side again and things are looking up for her.

Ackerman runs into the Hotel and bumps into younger Sensen, "Hey Babe, sorry to just drop in on you like this."

Sensen rolls her eyes and stands up, "Get your shit together tomorrow is going to be a big day."

"Woah! Why have you been hostile towards me lately?" He puts his hands in his pockets reading her body language, "Did I do something you don't like again?"

"No, I'm pregnant."

Ackerman smiles and picks her up, "I knew it, how far along are you?" He rocks her side to side and she groans replying 

"2 months, please don't do that, or I'll throw up on your face."

"Sorry, need anything?"

"Put me down, get in the car, and let's go. Tomorrow has to be perfect."

"Whatever you say."
