15 In Love?

Tori watches as Tachibana puts his shoes on. The female looks between Tori and Tachibana. "You don't look alike, you sure she didn't play you into this?"

"Candice why don't you do yourself a favour and hike to the top of the tallest building in the world, and throw yourself over it'll save me the trouble of pushing you off myself."

Tori notices Tachibana holding the gloves he took off, "No." Tori screams and starts crying, he's learned when to use no and right now everyone's attention is turned to the baby screaming no repeatedly while crying.

"Okay!" Tachibana throws the gloves in Candice's face and picks up Tori, "Freeze me and I'll burn you to ashes."

"No."

"Oh yeah? You think I won't do it?"

"No."

Tachibana tickles Tori and his giggles echo in the whole store. One person is not too happy about that.

"You are a lying bastard Ken." Candice crosses her arms.

"Bold words from a lying bitch."

Tori starts crying, lately anytime Tachibana or Yuno are a little tense he has a whole crying fit that will not simmer down for up to an hour.

"A baby with trauma is not in any of the textbooks." Tachibana mutters before he pays for the clothes. He was planning on doing some more shopping but Tori's mood just hit rock bottom.

He walks to the underground parking lot patting Tori on the way to the car comforting him enough to sleep it off.

Candice follows behind Tachibana and catches up to him right after he strapped Tori in closing the backseat, "Ken, you gave me the impression you did not want a future with me." Candice announces from behind him.

Her heart beat racing and the blood pumping in her ears the expression on her face is complete and utter shock she never thought there would ever be a day where she's the one running after a man.

Ken glares at her and she gulps, "Is that what I said?" He asks with a cross look and serious eyes staring straight at Candice.

"No, but …" She tries to explain her side but - 

Tachibana's striking tone hits her core, her mouth shut instantly, stuttering backwards on the spot and fully submitted, "Than save me the excuses because the truth is that you really didn't care.

"You were no different from all the other gold-digging women you hung around with, but I'll give you points for at least having me fooled for 2 years."

"You said you didn't want any kids, now here you are with a baby boy doing shopping actually being a father."

"I hate kids he's different."

"Our child could've been different."

"Did you come to that conclusion before or after you got rid of it? Or was it that you were worried I would find out the child you were carrying was never mine to begin with?"

Candice's mouth drops and Tachibana gets in the car driving to Roman high. Candice is left at a loss for words nearly losing her balance, no one has ever made her feel like that before.

Kai recognises the car from a mile away and runs outside to get Tori.

"Please don't let him freeze anything and call Yuno to tell her he's here I'll be working till late."

Kai nods and puts the gloves on Tori with ease.

Tachibana growls as he realises that Tori is super unfair, he always has to fight with Tori before the baby agrees to keep the gloves on for at least an hour yet Kai didn't just not have to fight Tori for cooperation. Tori freely lifted his hands .

"Don't sulk Tachibana it's not a good look for you."

"How the hell do you guys get along so well? But it's world war 3 when he and I have to do something."

Kai shrugs his shoulders, "It's a father son thing I wouldn't know."

Yuno notices Aiko on her way out and walks in the opposite direction.

Her last class for today just ended and she only wanted to grab a snack from the cafeteria before heading out, now her plan is ruined and she's walking to the car to eat whatever is in the fridge at home.

"Hey there, I'm Candice Ake, a reporter."

"I'm leaving, please get your car out of the way." Yuno replies with an attitude.

Fun fact about Yuno, her dress code is always sexy goth girl related. Her wardrobe is 90% black but when she goes out to a formal event she transforms into a sexy woman you could definitely bring home to your mother.

Candice looks her up and down before she takes a blade and stabs Yuno in her core, "Alright sweetheart, I talk you listen. I know you can heal and that's what makes this fun."

She pulls the knife out only to stab her again. "You're coming with me." Candice whispers in her ear pulling Yuno back to her car.

Tachibana receives a call from Setsuno who sounds distressed telling Tachibana what he saw, "I'm driving behind the car she's in, you won't believe where they are going." Setsuno reports and Tachibana loses his mind when Setsuno tells him where the car is going.

"Dammit, Sakura is around that area call her as back up. I don't care, how? Get her back I'll clean up the mess."

"Yes sir."

Yuno closes her eyes feeling queasy as the car moves she's not sure if it's car sickness, or the excessive blood loss.

Candice notices her wounds are too deep and quickly grabs a water bottle shoving it in Yuno's face to wake her up.

"That's not how my ability works I need a large body of water for it to work." That's not necessarily true but Yuno is in a position where the enemy doesn't know much about her and that just might be her saving grace.

"Step on it she won't make it if you keep driving so slow." Candice orders the driver sitting back as he presses the accelerator.

Yuno is taken into a big mansion and tossed into the pool. She heals herself and gets out of the water.

A tall male version of Candice strolls into the room with a little pep in his step, "I'm sorry about my sister for being so rough with you she has a bit of history with Tachibana and she blew it, now a pretty young thing like you has his full attention and she can't stand you for it."

He embraces Yuno taking a step back tugging on her red cheeks, "My name is Ciel Ake, and I need your help. This was not at all how I planned things to go."

Yuno meets Ake's wife sighing at her husband secretly glaring at him before turning her attention to Yuno. "I do apologize, Ciel and Tachibana always act like barbarians when it comes to each other.

"I swear I was going to come to you personally but when we found out I was expecting he just lost all sense of reason." She glares at him directly.

Ciel jumps into the pool taking a few laps and getting out, "My wife gave up her ability, now her body is starting to shut down. I heard about what you did for Ryujin and I need you to do it with my wife whatever it is.

"I would've asked nicely, but knowing Ken he'd kill me before letting me get close to you. The doctor said she has a few days left before the deterioration affects my child and I don't have the time to beg Tachibana."

Yuno was pissed off when she arrived but now all she can do is ask the sickly pale woman to step into the pool before she heals her.

"I think that was enough." Yuno announces before fainting completely spent from overworking herself.

Ciel glares at his younger sister, "Next time you let your personal feelings get in the way I'll end you. You were gambling with my child's life."

Candice nods walking away.

Ciel calls for his best friend Maiko to drive Yuno back to campus. Sakura takes her home leaving after she falls asleep. Yuno wakes up to find Ryujin and Tachibana glaring at each other in the kitchen

"Momo!" Tori gives away her position and she groans in response.

"Morning, I think." She looks around and only now realises she's not at the house nor is she at the office.

"Why are you so selfish with her? All these people want is for someone to fix them and she can, why are you making that decision for her?"

"Because, you're all greedy dogs if someone lifts a finger you'll take the whole arm, and don't think I'm unaware of you hanging around me for protection.

"You lied when you said those people agreed to give up their abilities it's only a handful of them who did, the rest didn't want this and now they're hunting you down."

"Tachibana you can't be so cruel as to kick me to the curb when I need you the most."

Ken stands in front of Ryujin staring down at him. "You being here is putting them in danger. I'll kill you myself if it means they stay safe, so I'd save the speech for someone else with a heart."

"You do have a heart either wise you wouldn't be in love with her."

Ryujin points to Yuno and she stands there looking awkward. She finally takes Tori's advice and walks out of the room.

"In love? I think you have me confused for someone else."

"Tachibana!" Yuno runs into the room holding Tori whose eyes are glowing red.

"Calm down Yuno it happens sometimes it's nothing to worry about."

"Huh? Why didn't you tell me about this?"

"I honestly thought you knew I would've said something if I knew you didn't." He pulls out Tori's file from one of the doctors he took him too. "See, they've linked eye colour to the size of the Super egg, this is just his body adjusting to his ability."

Tachibana turns to Ryujin, "This is why someone born without one can't live with one that is implanted in their bodies, this is something that takes time and your body grows into it."

"Does it hurt?" Yuno asks cuddling Tori after snatching him from Tachibana.

"I don't know, but I know it's uncomfortable at times especially when he's in a hot room." Tori yawns and his gloves turn to ash Tachibana quickly takes him from Yuno, "For now I'll keep an eye on him myself I can melt his ice, how are you feeling?"

"I'm fine, how long was I out?"

"3 days."

"I don't even have the energy to think anymore, I need 3 more days of sleep."

"Sure, get all the rest you need."
