Kayra was running hastily with her ticket in her hand and her bag on her back, she was trying to catch the bus by running because she fell asleep. She caught the bus, gave her ticket to the official and got into the car. He had 2 and a half hours to go, so he took his bag with him, put his earphones in his ear and started listening to music. He involuntarily fell asleep. He dreamed of a white landscape and his house in the village in this landscape. This house was a 3 floors, cream-colored, old-looking building. When she started to walk towards the house, the surroundings broke down and Kayra suddenly found herself in the attic of the house. The attic was full of cobwebs; Boxes were scattered around, but Kayra saw something unfamiliar there. As he approached that thing, he noticed that it was rectangular in shape and had gold-plated edges. It was a portrait of a grown man on a 50x70 canvas. The man's skin was as white as if it had never been painted. His black hair that merges with the dark background on his head; He had a strange, frightening smile on his face. His fire-colored eyes seemed to be trying to burn the canvas with sparks. The man's out-of-fashion appearance, with his sleeveless purple vest and black shirt fitted underneath, did not make him cute at all. Kayra approached the portrait. She ran her hand over the canvas. When the dust disappeared from the places she touched, Kayra realized how realistic and disturbingly detailed the portrait was. As he was about to turn around, tired of the portrait's insecure air, a black figure emerged from behind the painting and attacked him. Just then, Kayra woke up. Finally, he came to Bolu, the city where his village is located.

He got off the bus tiredly. Kayra was surprised at what happened when suddenly someone hugged her from behind, the person hugging her was her one and only aunt, Sevde, in this world. Sevde was a skinny and hasty talker, but Kayra loved her aunt like that.

"Ah! Kayra, I missed you so much! Good thing you came!"

Kayra hugged his aunt tightly, missing her.

"I missed you too, auntie! How's the divorce going?

"I taught that scumbag a lesson, we got divorced. Now he can go to that rich woman."

Kayra was delighted, she knew that her aunt's ex-husband was cheating on her aunt with a rich woman, and Kayra was very happy to hear that they were divorced.

"I am very happy, my aunt."

"Come on, the taxi is waiting for us."

He and his aunt took a taxi. The driver was driving the taxi towards their village. They were passing through the mountains. Their village was in a dense forest, so the taxi driver stopped the car and dropped them off. Those who came by car, especially taxi drivers, did not easily enter this forest. They were afraid of their car being scratched. Sevde gave the necessary money and thanked the taxi driver and they started walking with Kayra. As they were passing through the village, they heard the sounds of children running and playing. The old people were chatting, the shopkeepers were selling. Kayra missed this village life, yes Zonguldak was a wonderful place, but Kayra spent most of her childhood here. He smiled unconsciously. After walking a little more, he saw the blue-white school buildings, primary and secondary school buildings. He had attended primary school here, later they moved to Zonguldak, where his mother could not stand the limited resources of the village, where she could fulfill her dreams and find a good job where she could work. Kayra became even happier, it was very enjoyable to remember the old days. Finally they reached their home. The chickens were walking around the garden and were feeding. Their dog Brave greeted them. Kayra stroked Brave's head and went home with her aunt. The first floor of the house was just concrete, unpainted walls, they used it as a warehouse and a shelter for kittens. They went upstairs and this was the part of the building called "home". A wide, four-door corridor greeted them. When they stepped into the corridor, there was the kitchen and Kayra's grandmother's room on their left, and the living room and toilet on their right. Her grandmother was watching an Indian TV series in the living room. When she saw Kayra, she got up and approached her granddaughter. Kayra ran to his grandmother and they hugged.

"Kayra! How you have grown! If you only knew how much I missed you! You never called me, but…"

Kayra chuckled nervously.

"Sorry grandma, I didn't even have time to myself because of school."

Her grandmother smiled, "It's okay, honey. Your school and your future are more important." Kayra hugged her again, she had to bend over while hugging her, her grandmother was short.

Kaira went upstairs. This floor had the guest room and the attic. Kayra suddenly remembered the dream she had on the bus and looked at the stairs leading to the attic, "It's not worth it." She entered the guest room, where she would think. The walls were a light shade of red. Inside the room was a small bathroom and a large brown closet. There was a large window on the side wall that showed the backyard, the place where the animals roamed. The bed, right next to the door, was covered with white sheets and was soft. There was a full-length mirror opposite the bed. Kayra put her bag in front of the mirror and threw herself on the bed, she must have fallen asleep because she was awakened by the sound of sirens.

It was morning when he opened his essence. He realized that these sounds were coming from police and ambulance cars. She quickly got up from the bed and went downstairs to see her aunt Sevde crying. They were carrying her grandmother on a stretcher, she was looking at the doctors with fear. He turned to his aunt, "Aunt! What's happening?" Sevde was crying like crazy, she said with difficulty, "My mother! Someone killed her! Stabbed in the heart!" Kayra started to cry with the effect of her aunt's words. He was shaking with anger, who could kill a woman as cute and kind as his grandmother? Everyone in the village loved him, not one of them could have done it.

A detective came, Kayra and Sevde looked at him. The detective bent down and hugged them. When they were both surprised, he said, "May God have mercy on her, may her place be heaven. Im Detective Yüce, here to solve this murder."

He smiled. Sevde could not speak because of crying, Kayra sighed and smiled. "Thanks, sir."
