10 1.9 Ye Ren

"Lets take 5 minutes to warm up," Su Lin suggested.

Su Shu nodded his head in agreement and took Min Tong with him to get ready.

An arm suddenly wrapped around Su Lin's thin waist and pulled him back into a hard chest. He knew who it was so he didn't struggle.

"Baby," Ye Ren breathed on the back of Su Lin's exposed neck making him shiver, "do you know how to play golf?" He whispered into his ear.

"Of course I do, do you honestly think I would make this big of a bet if I didn't know how to play golf?" Su Lin said eyeing Ye Ren with irritation, "don't mock my intelligence."

"No love, I'm not doubting you," Ye Ren hurriedly said as he squeezed Su Lin tighter. "You have never went out to public events so I'm just worried you're not familiar with this." He said trying to appease my anger.

Su Lin pushed Ye Ren's arms off of him and turned to face him.

"Listen well," Su Lin growled at him. "Never. Question. Me." He annunciated every word and poked Ye Ren on his forehead.

"Yes darling," Ye Ren stared at his feet and complied, while admiring how cute Su Lin looked when he tried to dominate him.

"Good, glad we're on the same page," Su Lin smirked in triumph.

It's true that the previous Su Lin never went out so he was not familiar with any social events like golf. But in Xiu Yan's previous life he was the richest business man in the world so he participated in a lot of get togethers with other rich people and honed his skills in golf. What people didn't know in his past life was that his golfing skills could rival some of the best people who played golf for life.

Su Lin headed to his bag and took out a golf club and a white golf ball. He went to an open area and took a few practice swings to loosen up my tense limbs.

After the 5 minutes were up, Su Lin headed over to the group of people with Ye Ren in tow.

"Are you ready?" Su Lin asked Min Tong.

"Yes, what are the rules?" He asked.

"We will use one hole and the person who gets the least amount of strokes is the winner," Su Lin stated simply.

"Fine," Min Tong agreed.

They all then headed to the nearest hole and Min Tong was first to go up. He held his golf club behind the white ball and looked out towards the location of the hole. He squinted his eyes to protect his eyes from the sun beating down upon him and wiped off a few sweat drops from his forehead. He then took a deep breath and raise the golf club. He swung and the ball shot out and made a beautiful arc until it fell back down and rolled dangerously close to the hole. It finally slowed down and stopped a feet from the edge of the hole.

Golf claps rang through the air after a moment of silence.

Su Lin looked at the smug expression on Su Shu's face that looked like he was the one who hit the ball instead of Min Tong.

Rolling his eyes, Su Lin walked up and placed his ball on a thin, wooden peg. His usually lazy expression adopted a serious look as he made a rough estimate of the distance of the ball to the hole one how much strength he would need to use so he wouldn't overshoot or fall short.

He took a deep breath to stabilize his breathing and swung the golf club with no hesitation. The ball flew and made an arc as it finally fell directly into the hole. A perfect who in one.

Wiping the non-existent sweat of his face he faced the crowd and smirked. He then walked over to the stunned Su Shu.

"Dear brother, because of our brotherly love I'll make an exception and allow you to pay me my money in two days instead of today." Su Lin said as if he was the most saintly person.

Patting him on the shoulders, Su Lin turned around and strutted over to Ye Ren.

Ye Ren smiled and took his hand, walking over to the golf cart. They hopped in and drove of with Su Lin blowing kisses at the crowd.

"My love, you are full of so many secrets," Ye Ren said, breaking the silence of the cart.

"Everyone has something to hide," Su Lin retorted back.

"I can't deny that," Ye Ren said agreeing to that statement. "I'll just have to dig out everything about you until there's nothing left." He said with a gleam in his eyes.

"You can try," Sun Lin chuckled.

They both stopped conversing and just enjoyed the tranquil silence of the ride. After a few minutes, they made it back to their parents who looked like they were having a swell time talking to each other.

Ye Ren stopped the cart right in front of them.

"Mother Father, we're back," Su Lin informed his parents.

"Did you both have fun?" Mother Su asked her son with a smile.

"Yes," I answered back with a smile that showed of my perfectly white and straight teeth.

"Good good, you two can get closer in the future and connected," Father Xia said with a nod of his head.

"We will certainly get closer," Ye Ren said, "and connected in more ways than one." He murmured low enough that no one caught it.

"What did you say," Su Lin asked.

"Nothing important," Ye Ren smiled.

"I don't trust that smile," Su Lin said with suspicion evident in his expression.

Ye Ren chuckled and turned towards his father.

"Father, Su Lin and I will take our leave now," he said without asking for my consent.

"Okay, you kids can go enjoy yourselves while we old people will stay here," Father Xia laughed.

Su Lin was then pulled along with Ye Ren and they entered the building. He turned around and faced me.

"Go change, we're going out."

"You can't boss me around," Su Lin said unhappily.

"I'll buy you whatever food you want," Ye Ren tried to compromise.

"Do you honestly think that conquering my stomach will win me over?" Su Lin said as he crossed his arms.

"Yes, is it working?" He asked with a smirk.

"I'll be down in a half hour," Su Lin sighed in defeat.
