It had been two days since they have left the border checkpoint that was placed right on the border of the Violet Plain "kingdom" and that of the Evergreen kingdom.

The whole convoy was quite exhausted and weary at the same time, they now have entered an unfamiliar territory and environment, after seeing the "Bad Apple" that was Dannis at the border, they were nervous as what some people in power would do to them if they were unlucky enough to cross those people path.

"Erm..sir Leonard, do you think that we will be alright since the little incident at the border checkpoint? I mean...I don't think that messing with a noble of the land on our first time here isn't that much of a good idea…" Ro asked Leonard politely, knowing that he's in the presence of a rank eight expert, the realm that's not even his elders has the chance to reach if they were given another one hundred years to live.

"You'll be fine...as long as I am here, no one within this kingdom can mess with you guys, so your safety is absolutely guaranteed- and please, enough with the sir this and sir that, just call me Leonard will do just fine."

"Yes, ...sir-...Leonard…" Ro replied meekly.

"Oh look, we've finally reached the nearest large settlement of the Evergreen kingdom." Leonard then pointed at the large town in the distant.

With him pointing it out to the convoy, and for them to say it themselves, it gave the people of the Red Eagle tribe, a sense of accomplishment.

They had finally made it.

"What are you guys planning to do now, that you made it to the big city?" Leonard asked the old man and Ro.

"Well, I say that we could start looking for some well paying odd jobs to make some earning…" the old man suggested.

"..." Leonard was stunned speechless, this old guy here did not plan anything out before crossing the border into the Evergreen kingdom? He makes it sound like looking for a well paying odd jobs can be that easy, well...there is some odd jobs that actually pay well, but it asking you if you're willing to get your hand dirty cleaning up the dead body, etc…

He doubts that they would actually want to do something like that.

"What's wrong lad? Is it not a good plan?" the old man asked him.

"Erm...no it's good that's you guy are positive about things and all, but that not how it works here...there are quite a few complicated processes one must go through in order to get those kinds of jobs," Leonard told him.

"W-what do you mean?" Ro and his great uncle began to felt anxious by Leonard words.

As their "perfect" plan might not be able to be realized.

"What I mean is, getting people to hire you won't be easy, you need connections to make that happened of course...did you honestly think that- let say, see that merchant ahead of us? You know- that fat guy? Who looks like a mountain of meat?" Leonard pointed out to a fat figure who sits on a carriage while having people dragging wagons of goods waiting in line to enter the city.

"...wait a minute...is that who I think it is…?" Leonard finally notices the identity of the fat merchant that he pointed out to make an example for the Red Eagle tribe, however- it looks like he had run into an acquaintance instead.

"Hey!!! Edward!!!" Leonard called out to the fat, and greedy money grubbing longtime friend of his that he happened to run into and haven't seen for a long, long! Time.

Today, Edward has finally made it back to the Evergreen kingdom after the long business trip he had to make outside of the kingdom and into the violet plain, to say nonetheless, he loathed the entire trip itself- but he couldn't bring himself to hate the gold coins that was generated from the trips, his own profit has literally doubled at least when all the goods managed to sell.

*sigh, he let out a long sigh.

'Hey!!! Edward!!!" from the back he could hear a familiar voice calling for him.

"Oh, my good brother...I missed you so much that I'm even starting to hear your voice inside my head now…" Edward lamented.

It has been over a year since Leonard had disappeared from the Northern border after causing quite a few ruckus and mayhem there that story of him began to spread throughout the entire kingdom itself.

However, ever since the war ended, no news has been found for the current whereabouts of Leonard, the only sources that Edward got was that of his soon to be sister in law, Ryan.

Edward chibi "HEY! I view Leonard as my big bro with full of respect so of course, she's going to be my sister in law! It ain't one of those cliches you know!"

"Young master, a man is calling out for you." it was then that one of his trusted guards informed him that he was indeed, not dreaming about hearing Leonard voice.

"Huh? Someone called out for me?" it was then that Edward turned around and noticed an all too familiar face.

"Bro! It's you!" Edward quickly pushed against the seat of his carriage and struggled to get up- however, due to the massive amount of weight that he had on himself, he ended up falling over the carriage and crashed onto the hard dirt ground, the people around could swear that they felt a minor tremor when Edward hit the ground- but they did not dare to say anything, as the fat guy look ridiculous rich and with the large numbers of guards around him, they wouldn't want to piss him off anyhow.

Edward struggled to push his fleshy body up and rolled over to the voice of his dear "brother" with a face full of bruised and injuries from the fall combine with snots and tears.

"Bro Leonard!! You're back!!!" he cried as he rolled his body over to Leonard side, trying to jump on him.

"Get away!!!" Leonard quickly cast a wind spell in order to knock Edward aways- as he did not want to die in the most embarrassing way a human could imagine.

Being crushed to death by your fat friend when he jumped on you for a hug.

*Boom! The mountain of fat and flesh was sent flying back a foot or two and fell flat on his face.

"Ow...that was mean of you brother…" Edward got up while holding onto his now red nose with blood dripping from the nostril.

"It's good to see you again, Edward- I also see that you gained some extra weight…" Leonard said jokingly as he cast a light healing skill onto Edward- which greatly surprised him.

"Bro! You know light healing!" Edward asked in great astonishment as it was common knowledge that only the people of the church process these type of healing skill, but now it was within Leonard's hand, Edward then glanced at Leonard awkwardly.

"Hey! Don't look at me like that! The world is big and there are others out there who also know how to use light healing too! The church was more well known because they had more people!" Leonard whacked Edward on the head without using any strength as he didn't want to pulverize this meatball of a friend of his.

Also, as for Leonard skill, it deviated from his void magic ability, there was a saying that, the Light cannot exist without the darkness, the same could say for the latter as well, so it's natural that first, he had the skill of a shadow priest- it would also mean that he also would have the natural ability of a holy priest- but not as potent as the arts of the void and shadow.
