32 chapter 8

"I told you! It's too late! I'm bitten!" the woman continued.

"No, you might be just fine," Leonard told her.

"I won't be fine. My boyfriend was bitten. You get sick and you die and you come back and you kill anything you can find!" she began to sound really crazy.

Glenn look really depressed.

"You have a boyfriend?" he asked

Leonard looks at Glenn.

"Dude, totally not the time, we need to help her first," Leonard told him.

Just when he was about to take out the vial of healing tonic.

"Please...just go...leave me *cough *cough." she then coughed out a mouthful of blood and felled down.

"Are you alright! Hey hey! Glenn was about to rush toward her to lend a hand, however, Leonard manage to grab a hold of him and pulled him back.

"What are you doing? We need to help her!" Glenn yelled.

"It's too late, she's turning...look!" he then pointed at the woman as he could see that her finger began to twitched and then clawed on the wood floor as she attempts to stand up.

"Shit...this look different from the usual dead one…" Leonard told Glenn as the both of them slowly backed away from the woman.

"Grrrrrrrr" they could hear a low growling sound coming from her mouth.

She then looks at them with glowing bloodshot eyes, she then leaped toward them with an unnatural strength

"Move!" Leonard pushed Glenn down and away from himself.

The woman manages to land on Leonard and pushed him down the second floor.

*Crashed

They both crashed down onto the pavement.

Leonard was currently using one of his hand to grab hold of the woman throat and keep her face and teeth away from himself.

"Impact ball!" *bang

Leonard was forced to use his magic on her, as expected the magic work quite well as the compressed air ball exploded and sent her off of him.

"You ok?!" Glenn called out from the second floor.

"Yeah, I'm fine- just stay there, I'll take care of this one," he told Glenn.

He then picked up the fire ax.

"Alright...come at me!" he provokes the now "Zombified" mutated woman.

"Rooaaarrrr!" she roars and then once again leaped toward Leonard.

"Watch out!" Glenn who was on the second floor called out to warn Leonard.

*Clunk

He uses the blunt side of the ax and swung it baseball style at the incoming mutant walker which sent her crashed down onto the pavement with half of her head missing.

"What a pain, don't tell me that walkers can actually evolve or mutated into these things if enough time where to be given!" Leonard curses.

Glenn rushed down from the second floor to check on Leonard.

"Hey you ok man? Not bitten or anything?" he asked with a bit of nervousness in his tone.

"Nope, I'm fine." he reassured Glenn.

"What the hell is that thing?" Glenn questioned.

"Who know….but I doubt that will be the last one." Leonard told him.

*moaning "rooarrrr" then from the wood they could hear moaning and the growling sound from the walkers, and from the sound of it, they could bet that it wasn't just a few walkers, it sound more like a dozen or 2.

"Shit we need to leave now! Get back to the drugstore!" Leonard told Glenn.

Back at the drugstore.

Leonard and Glenn was just narrowly escaped from being surrounded by a pack of vicious walkers, then arrived and Kenny greeted them.

"You both all right?" he asked

"Yeah...just narrowly escaped from being surround and turn into walkers dinner." Leonard told him and Glenn just nodded.

"What happen out there." Kenny asked.

"Well let just say we met something unexpected and caused quite a commotion." Leonard then filled everyone in the drugstore about what they both met at the motel.

As expected they all look like they lost their soul when they heard Leonard mention of a mutated walker that's way stronger and more agile than the average dumb one out there and that Leonard also mention it won't be the last one as well.

"Shit...then aren't we all screwed?" Lilly who heard the grave news asked.

"Not really, if you hit them hard enough on the head they will still die once again." he reassure them. "However I don't recommend you doing a fist fight with it though, I recommend you using a gun to kill those thing." he then told her.

Everyone just look at Carley, since they know that Carley owned a pistol.
