Luminous and Conner who sudden notice the dagger came flying in and target Leonard, the two of them immediately unleashed their power and rushed over to try and block the dagger, keeping from harming Leonard.

*Clank! The sound of metal clashed.

Luminous was the first to arrived, she used her own weapon to parry the dagger.

"What!" she was surprised by the force behind the dagger, immediately she was sent flying back a few meters back and crashed into the ground as she deflected it.

"Luminous!" Leonard immediately rushed over to check on her, he saw her cough out a mouthful of blood as she struggled to get up.

"Are you alright?" he asked her.

"Everyone be on your guard! He's a strong one!" Luminous shouted.

"He?...you mean-" Leonard suddenly had an idea of who was the one that responsible for that throwing dagger.

"We meet once again...Luminous...and that pyromaniac brat that Luminous ran off with." Sirius walked out from behind a tent.

"It's you!" Leonard shouted as he pointed at the finger of the man at one point he tried to burn to death a while back.

"You seem really surprised...brat...you thought I died when you set my whole entire body ablaze?" Sirius sneered at Leonard.

"You know who he is? Leonard?" Erik asked him.

"Yes, he's the one that gave me and Luminous a small headache a while back as the two of us set the entire Rosen army camp ablaze," Leonard answered.

Sirius now turned his attention at Erik.

"So...you must be the infamous Northern Devil, Erik Welser? It is indeed an honor to meet you here of all places." Sirius gave Erik a courteous bow.

"Hah...not many people remembered my title anymore after I retired from the battlefield all these years and stayed in back, leaving the fight to the youngster." Erik let out a small laugh as he said those words.

However the next second, the surrounding temperature immediately dropped by a few degrees.

"I'm flattered to find out that someone still remembered me, however...you got some balls trying to assassinate my son in my presence you little shit."

His power suddenly exploded out and Erik vanished and instantly appeared right in front of Sirius.

"What!-" Sirius was greatly surprised by the man speed, the next second a fist was launched and aimed at his face.

*BOOOM! The force from Erik's fist exploded at point blank on Sirius' face, of which immediately sent him flying back and crashed into the tent and caused it to collapse.

Erik then looked back at his fist.

"Look like I've gotten really rusty," he said in a tone containing full of sarcasm.

Everyone else, except for Conner was surprised by Erik sudden display of power.

"how...Sirius was an 8th rank warrior! How could he be sent flying like a ragdoll?!" Luminous shouted out in a tone full of surprised.

"Father...since when were you that strong?!" Leonard too was surprised by Erik display of might and couldn't help but asked.

From his memory of Erik, the man whom he called his father was usually a workaholic middle age man who buried himself in paperwork days and nights, rarely leaving the castle unless it is absolutely necessary.

"Hahahaha! It's nice to know that there's another 8th rank expert like me out here in this world." Sirius crawled out from the collapsed tent and laugh like a madman, he then pulled out two short swords and pointed the blade at Erik.

"You are worthy of the great Sirius to go against with his full power!" he roared in a prideful and arrogant tone.

"Since you have drawn your weapon….it is only fitting of me to drawn mine as well to show you some respect...however, sadly there seen to be no weapon that could fit me here at this moment," Erik said in a tone full of disappointment.

Upon noticing this Leonard called out to him.

"Father! Which weapon do you prefer?" Leonard asked.

"A spear, I need a spear!" Erik shouted out.

When Leonard heard this from Erik, he couldn't help but let out a devilish grin and immediately pulled out the Corpse spear from his inventory and tossed it at Erik, to which he immediately caught.

The moment his hand touched the shaft of the spear, his eyes suddenly brighten.

"Good spear...a very good spear…" he said as he gave it a light swing.

*Swoosh! Immediate dust and debris were sent flying everywhere.

After which Erik disappeared from where he stands and appeared right in front of Sirius with the tip of the spear right in front of Sirius' eye, preparing to pierce through his skull.

"Crap!" Sirius exclaimed in a voice contained a trace of fear as he desperately tries to dodge the spear strike which intended to finish him off in one blow by bending backward, after which he quickly rolled back a few meters, trying to put some distance between himself and Erik.

"Oh sweet mercy of God, that was close...too damn close!"

"Nice dodging skill, most people would die on that first strike, you're one of the lucky few that manage to survive that one." Erik complimented the man.

To which he then immediately rushed forth once trying to pierce Sirius with the Corpse spear.

*Clank *Screech

The sound of metal scraping against one another as the spear slid on Sirius blade as it was being redirected elsewhere.

Seeing this, Erik applied more force onto the spear, to which it manages to push Sirius down to one of his knees.

However, Erik did not stop there, he immediately applied even more forces.

*Boooom! A small shallow crater then appeared underneath Sirius' feet.

"How the hell could you be so strong?! Aren't we supposed to be of the same rank?!" Sirius shouted out frantically.

"Oh please, don't compare me to a fresh blood like you, I was on the 8th gate for at the very least fifteen years now, unlike a newly advanced brat like you." Erik sneered and gave Sirius a kick onto the chest.

On the side, Leonard swear that he could hear the sound of bones being broken within Sirius body, he tried to guess how many ribs were broken by that kick alone, by his estimation, it sounds like it's quite a number.
