"Shit! They're mutated human!" the one that had previously shot a bullet at Leonard in attempt to blow his head like that of a watermelon shrieked in horror.

"No wonder they can withstand these kinds of environment without the basic protection! We're fucking screwed!" he continued to shrieked while wiggling on the grass.

"Mutated human? Is my face that messed up?" Leonard was at a loss as he tries to have a feel of his face using his hand.

"Nope, still handsome as always… that's not nice you know, calling someone you just met a moment ago a mutated human... please just shut up for me." Leonard then snapped his fingers, signally for a tendril to gag the man by imprinting his face down hard onto the ground.

"Good, now we had some peace and quiet...tell me, who are you people?" Leonard finally turned his attention at the one he kept as a hostage.

"You will learn nothing from me!" the figure shouted in extreme anger.

Leonard frowned at the response of this person.

"You might not want to talk, but I'm not so sure about the other, stop being so stubborn- it could really save your life sometimes, you know that?" he let out a long sigh since he really does not have any patience to deal with these type of people.

"Here, let me demonstrate something for you all to see." Leonard reached into his inventory and pulled out an Energy crystal the size of a baseball with inscribed circuit and pattern on its surface- this item, was none other than one of the energy crystal grenade made by Naz'rith.

"What are you planning to do with that Energy crystal?" Ryuji asked him with cold sweat dripping down from his forehead

"Oh I just want to demonstrate this new toy, I didn't really have much of a chance to use it yet- until now that is." he grinned before energizing the crystal within his hand and overloaded it with compressed form of magic before tossing it at least fifty meters away from themselves.

*BOOOOMMM!!!! The moment the energized crystal touched the ground it immediately exploded- creating a massive crater in the middle of the forest and generate a minor quake.

"Well, isn't that just beautiful!" he took a moment to admire the destruction that he had caused before he pulled out another Energy crystal from his inventory.

"You had more than one of those things?!" Ryuji shouted out in fear

"Oh hell yes! I have a lot more of these." Leonard replied to the trap ex-emperor before turning his attention back to the group of gas-masked people who were currently shivering in fear.

"What are you planning to do?!" the stubborn leader of the bunch roared at him.

"Have a good guess at what I'm planning to do- let just say, I have enough for every single one of you here." he grinned.

"No no no! I don't want to die! I'll tell you everything!" before Leonard could even set his threat into motion, a coward among the bunch had already cracked up under the pressure and prepared to spill everything.

"What the hell are you thinking! Our people will die if you tell them our location?!" the stubborn leader blurted out on accident.

"Oh? There are more of you out there? That's nice, tell me more about it." Leonard was now entreated by the comedy show.

"Yes yes, boss! I'll tell you everything, please don't kill me!" the coward continued to beg him.

"Alright, first question- who the hell are you people?" Leonard started to ask.

"We're the survivors from a small enclave south from here." he answered.

"You bastard! I'll skin when this is over! I swear that I will flay you alive and feed you to the Cerberus's! You hear me?!---*whimper" the leader cursed at the cowardly man who spilled a secret- however, a pair of shadow tendril slammed the leader face onto the loose dirt below, which muffled out most of the sound later.

"Next, where are we currently?" Leonard didn't pay much attention to the stubborn leader and just snapped his finger and let the tendril do it jobs before going to another question.

"We're on the outskirt of the dead zone which is further up north-"

"The dead zone? You mean that irradiated ruined of a city?" Leonard asked.

"Yes, sir! That's where one of the bombs was dropped years ago after the outbreak," he told Leonard, only to riled up more of his curiosity.

"Outbreak? What kind of outbreak exactly? Viral? Pandemic? Plague?" he continued to ask- only to suddenly noticed multiple presences moving toward him.

"Something- no, a lot of things are coming here…" Leonard narrowed his eyes while looking at the direction of where the presences were coming from.

"Oh no, they've noticed us! We must leave here- now! Or else we're dead!" the stubborn leader managed to forced free from the tendril for a short moment to warn them of incoming danger.

"What is that one talking about?" he asked, just after Leonard had asked that- the danger revealed itself to be a pack of vicious dogs with rabies on steroid- they're covered in blood and mortal wounds, some revealed to their bone- their eyes were nothing but two holes filled with bloody goo.

"They're Cerberus's! Infected dogs which were further mutated by the radiation from the bomb!" the cowardly gas-masked man shouted in fear as he looked at the pack that surrounded all of them, there were at least twenty of these things.

"Cerberus? That's sound...familiar...where have I heard of these terms… applying to a zombie rabies infected dog?..." Leonard went into deep thought and ignored the group pleading to escape.

"You moron?! It's Resident Evil! They have mutated zombie dog! Where have you been living for the past who knows how long?!" Ryuji shouted out the answer to him.

"Oh!!! So this is where we are… the Resident Evil universe!" Leonard was enlightened by Ryuji words and exclaimed in great revelation.

"But why does this world look so different from the Resident Evil universe… the last I check- there wasn't anything of this magnitude happened… I mean- the world turned into an apocalyptic wasteland?" he questioned.

"Yes! Why didn't I think of that?! Alternate Universe?!- okay, enough of self-fulfilling thought for now- first let kill these things and get out of here."

"[Dark Lance]" he called out the name of the spell.

Immediately upon activation, shadowy spears materialized and shot at the pack of vicious dogs at high speed, nailing half of the pack down as each spear managed to pin down at least two zombie dogs.

"Weaker than expected… you sure that these things are dangerous? They're looking real cute right now…" Leonard asked the group in a sarcastic tone of voice as he continued to nail the zombie dogs with his spear launching magic.

"Stop showing off will you? Just finish them off already!" Ryuji jeered at Leonard.

"Relax, can't I have a moment of ecstasy once in a while?" he retorted back to his trap ancestor.

"Listen to the pink hair girl! Kill those things quickly, we need to get out of here before more trouble shows up!" the stubborn leader spit out more words as he/she struggled to get off from the ground- but was immediately pulled back down by the shadow tendrils.

"What kind of trouble?" Leonard asked casually.

"Roooarrrrr!!!!!" a loud blood curdling roar sounded out from within the forest.

"That kind of trouble perhaps?- and HEY! I'm a dude!" Ryuji added in with cold sweat dripping down from his forehead and quickly corrected the stubborn gas-masked leader about his gender.
