As they waited for their food Leonard began asking Edward questions.

"Edward, what have you been doing lately?" he asked the fat ball.

"Me? Nothing much, just helping my dad with the family business, it's been really stressful lately." Edward complained.

"Stressful?" Leonard asked out of curiosity.

"Yeah, didn't you know that the Rosen kingdom created a blockade up near the duchy northern border? They've been giving us merchant from the Evergreen kingdom quite a hard time lately." Edward told him.

"Rosen Kingdom?" suddenly Leonard remembered a while back that his father, Erik has asked for magical weapons from him to send to his second brother that was stationed in their northern border.

"Yeah, those guy are such a pain in the neck, with their increasing in border security delaying us, making money is much harder now, especially if those guys at the checking station try to be a bunch of bandits by "Confiscating" our goods, our business been making quite a loss now."

Edward continued to complain.

"Don't you know all of these? I thought you were the son of a duke!" Edward added.

"Leonard, what's a duke?" Clementine asked.

Edward looked at her and then back to Leonard.

"Did you adopted a commoner kid?" Edward asked.

"Well yes, something like that," he told Edward and then look back at Clementine.

"A duke is a title, it's a position in the government Clem, like how back home you had a president or a mayor, but hold much more privileges," Leonard answered the little girl question.

"Even if I'm the son of a duke, it's not like I'm that involved with my family, man! Don't you remember who I am?" Leonard questioned his friend.

"Oh right...totally remember, the useless third young master of the Welser family," Edward smirked.

Then suddenly the waiter pushed a few carts containing all the foods that Edward has ordered to him, and slowly placing each and every dishes on the table.

The flavorful aroma began to spread throughout the entire rooftop.

Soon what Leonard and Clementine's order also arrived.

"Go on, dig in," Leonard told Clementine.

The little girl just shyly picks up her fork and took a piece of food and placed into her mouth.

"Delicious!" she exclaimed excitedly and began to take more foods.

Edward who saw this scene also began to dig in and devoured all the foods on each plate one by one.

"...." Leonard was completely speechless by Edward appetite, however, he just ignored it and just continue to eat quietly.

After lunch, outside of the Golden Pavilion.

"Alright my brother, I'm off and heading back home now." the fat ball came over and gave him a hug.

"I'm off now, Clementine." Edward also bid the little loli goodbye and then got into his carriage and headed off.

"We should head out too, do you want to take a look at the exotic market now?" Leonard asked Clementine.

"Yes, please! I would love to." the girl replied.

"Alright, let look around a bit before we head back to the castle, I guess it's also time to introduce you to my dad," Leonard told her.

"Oh...is your dad...scary?" she asked out of nervousness.

"Well no, he may be cold on the outside, however, he had a thing for little kids, I'm sure he loves you too since you're my adopted sister now," Leonard told her.

Those words certainly cheered her up.

"Okay!" she replied with a tone which has full of energy.

At the same time in Erik office.

Erik was sitting behind his desk and look at what Conner has placed on his table.

"You're saying that this weapon here could change the arts of warfare as we know it?" Erik asked his trusted man.

"Reporting your grace, this weapon can indeed do that," Conner answered Erik question.

The weapon was none other than the rifle that Conner has managed to get his hand when they were within the walking dead world.

"Where did you get this Conner?" Erik asked him.

"From the third young master," Conner replied.

Immediately everything went silent.

"...I'm not even surprised anymore…" Erik placed a hand over his face.

"First, it was potions, next it was magical equipment, now it's technological weapon," he added.

"Luckily, this piece of equipment here is likely too complicated for any blacksmith to make, so that's good for us," Erik told Conner.

"Alright, on to the next piece of equipment, is this some type of bow?" Erik asked.

"Yes, your grace, this piece of equipment here is called a crossbow, it's based on the bow, however instead of requiring a person to hold the string for the shot, it can be fire using a trigger mechanism instead." Conner pointed out for him.

"Hmmm, not bad…" Erik nodded.

"Your grace, should we send this contraption to someone who could analyze this and try to recreate it?" Conner asks.

"Yes, go find a smith to replicate it, see if it could be mass produced, with these kinds of weapons in our arsenal, we can completely obliterate the Rosen kingdom army if they dare to cross our border, " Erik agreed with Conner and then look at the rifle and the crossbow.

Later that day, Outside of Erik office once again, stand Clementine and Leonard.

"Are you sure that...your dad going to like me?" Clementine asked nervously.

"I'm positive, Clem." He reassures her and then knocked on the door before pushing it open.

Seeing Erik was once again busy at looking through documents and other paperwork.

"What is it, Leonard?" Erik asked.

"Father, I wish to adopt this one as my little sister," Leonard told him.

Erik stopped what he was doing and look up at Leonard, then he turned his sight to Clementine who was standing next to Leonard.

"....you don't need to ask me, it's your choice if you wanted to take care of her," he told Leonard.

Of course, Erik already knows the situation of the little girl, Clementine from Conner.

Since the man said she's okay, then there's no problem taking in a kid.

Besides that, Erik now also notice that the little girl is quite adorable, but he would not show those embarrassing expression on his face, for he does not want to ruin his image as a ruler.
