125 chapter 26

Back at floor one, Town of beginning- where Leonard and the guild, Moonlit Black Cats currently reside.

Within one of the upscale restaurant in the town, manned by NPCs' and the system itself where there's rarely anyone visiting due to its ridiculous price tag on the menu items.

The crews along with Leonard was sitting at one of the large tables near the window of the second floor, giving them a nice view on the street down below.

"uhh...Leonard...do you think that it's a good idea for us to come here?" Keita asked him nervously as he knew this place was infamous for charging a ridiculous price.

"Yeah- I heard this place is really expensive," Sasamaru added in.

"Don't worry about it, I'll pay the bill." Leonard offered, as he literally had nothing but money right at that moment, a perk of being one of the members of a floor clearing group, money just endlessly filled your pocket every time they went out and kill a boss or two.

Combine with the money they retained from the endless grinding for level, it's not a surprise that some people could get really rich if they spend it wisely.

After offering to pay the bill, Leonard quickly beckoned the NPC over to placed his order, which included all the most expensive dishes that was on the menu, each of them cost over one hundred Col at the lowest while the maximum reached around a thousand.

Noted that a pig on the first floor dropped about five-ten Col, while the stronger Direwolf dropped around eight-fifteen.

After placing his order, Leonard sends the NPC away, leaving them alone.

"Alright, why don't we try to get to know one another more? Once again, my name is Leonard- in this game, you can call me a swordsman...somewhat…" Leonard introduced himself once again to the group of newbies who were looking at him nervously.

"My name is Keita, I'm the leader of the guild name "Moonlit Black Cats." there isn't outstanding about me that's to be notified of, my dream is to be on the front line- helping the main party clear the game and free everyone!" Keita exclaimed loudly, but upon seeing the eyes of his guildmate and that of Leonard he quickly sat back down with an embarrassed expression on his face.

"That was...embarrassing…" Keita mind began to race as he thought back about the introduction he did just a moment ago.

"That's quite a noble goal you have there, in time like these, having something as positive as that lofty goal you have there, isn't really a bad idea," Leonard commented.

"hehe...I honestly don't know when we will be able to join up with the rest of the floor clearing players though, I mean they must be really powerful by now and we're like what? Level 5?" Keita smiled awkwardly as he scratched his head.

"You'll get there eventually, all you need is some time spend in the grinding department unless each of you can confidently take on and kill a monster the same level as yourself if not stronger, joining the main party is still quite far in the future," Leonard told them.

"You seem pretty well informed Leonard...mind if I ask you what level you are? And are you a solo player or are you already in a guild or group?" Ducker quickly jumped out of his seat and asked Leonard, it was until Tetsuo let out a light coughing sound that Ducker calmed down and sat back down to his seat.

"Sorry about that, I get excited easily, and after seeing you…" Ducker slowly trailed off as he remembers that group of orange players.

Everyone else who sat at the table also felt the mood was getting sour as well.

"You mean killing them?" Leonard asked in an easy-going manner as he does not think much about it all, to him- those orange players were only NPCs', background characters- Leonard only pay attention to the main and support caste.

"How can you killed so easily...I mean...aren't they human as well?" Sasamaru asked him with a troubled expression.

"True, however, if I did not kill them, what do you think of the consequence if I didn't finish them off?" Leonard asked the teen who sat next to the blonde Ducker.

"Sasamaru stops it, I'm sure Leonard felt troubled by it as well…" Sachi who was sitting next to Leonard and remained quiet all these time suddenly spoke up for Leonard.

"Don't worry about it miss...erm...Sachi was it?" Leonard faked the obvious as he asked her.

"..yes…" Sachi nodded.

"Like I said before, I don't mind killing- I'm used to it," Leonard said it while having a bright smile plastered on his face, which scared all the newbies who sat at the table.

"Ermm, I mean they're all like killing monsters to me now, I spend too much time on the front line fighting now that I treated anything that comes at me with ill intent as stuff that's already good as dead." Leonard clarified his answer, what Leonard was indeed true, with all the "hell" that he had survived and clawed his way out of, killing an extra or two is no big deal- plus it couldn't help that he had to kill them for that sweet bonus objective, 250 achievement is quite a lot, with that amount he could buy quite a lot of stuff from the multiverse store.

"Now that I think about it, since when was I gotten so cold-blooded? At first after seeing the Bloodsport quest I was a bit hesitant, but...wait...don't tell it's Yogg-Saron fault." Leonard thoughted as he suddenly remembers his encounter with the old god and having memory and knowledge surged into his brain for three days straight.

"Could he have influenced me somehow?"

As the lore of the Warcraft Universe goes, the old god where being that evil the demon themselves feared, they have influence quite a lot of things even in their dormant state- a good example of that was driven the Earth Warden Neltharion into madness- which resulted in the being known as Deathwing.

Leonard could help but let out a sigh, as he now felt like he was tricked by Yogg-Saron itself, the thing indeed worthy of having the title "the Fiend of a thousand face".

"What's the long sigh about Leonard?" Sachi who sat next to help noticed his troubled expression and couldn't help but asked.

"It's nothing miss Sachi, I just remembered something really unpleasant- yet somewhat pleasant at the same time, so my emotion is a bit conflicted," Leonard told her.

"Oh...by the way, you don't have to call me "miss" just call me by my name, Sachi," she told him to drop his formality.

"If that's the case, then I will take you up on your offer- oh look! Our food is here!"

Leonard accepted her offer and immediately he noticed that he had previously ordered has finally arrived at their table.

"Alright, everyone! Dig in, the food is all on me today." Leonard told them, upon hearing it, Ducker was the first to gladly take it from him and began digging in on the first meat dish.

Seeing that Ducker began to enjoy the food, the other also joined in as well.

Leonard too was ready to enjoy the food- but he suddenly noticed a group of players walking up from the stairway, they all dressed like samurai's and armed katana and other Japanese style weapons to perfected the look.

"Huh?" Leonard dropped the fried chicken when he lay eyes on the man who was leading that group of players.

"HEY BALLSDEEP69!!!!" Leonard shouted out to the leading man.
