Time quickly followed by and a month has passed.

The door of Leonard laboratory suddenly slammed wide open and Mavis charged out.

"Sunlight! Oh, beautiful sunlight! I missed you so much?!"

"....seriously?..." Leonard was speechless at Mavis reaction.

Right now she was rolling on the ground near the window and sucking in the light of the sun.

"You are acting quite disgraceful Mavis...where's your Elven dignity!" Leonard asked.

"What do you expect?! I've been locked up in that sweatshop for a month! You might be able to handle that isolation in darkness but not me! And lastly, it's Elswynian dignity NOT ELF! Is that even a word?!"

Mavis then went back to rolling.

Then out of a corner a shadow appeared, this sudden gotten Mavis jumped to her guard.

"Watch out!" she roared and jumped in between the shadow and Leonard.

"Calm down will you will you?" that shadow was none other than Conner, he was quite surprised that the so call demon of which rumor to be quite ruthless in battle in the account of the Romani Empire and the church jumped in between him and the young master and trying to protect him.

Although he could not understand her, he could guess it through her action.

"Who are you?" Leonard looks at the black figure.

"Oh come on now Leonard, don't you remember me? I use to hold you back then." Conner then removed the piece of cover that's over his face.

"Huh? Uncle Conner? What are you doing here?" Leonard was quite surprised, he hadn't seen this uncle of his for many years.

"Nothing much, your father called you in today...asking if he could erm...borrow some pieces of equipment," Conner whispered into Leonard's ear.

"What?...you and father knew of what I was up to?" once again Leonard was surprised.

"Hehe…..your father asked me to spy on you for years now…..how else would things gone so smoothly with your life of debauchery…." replied Conner.

"Erm….alright...led the way then…" Leonard told him.

Conner then looks at Mavis.

"Don't worry about her, she won't be able to understand what we're saying, so she can come along," he told Conner.

Conner just nodded and led the way to Erik office.

Inside the office.

Erik the Duke of Ironwood and the lord of Trier was sitting.

"Father, you called for me?" Leonard asked.

Erik just nodded.

"I heard from Conner that you and...erm the demon is working on magical pieces of equipment….sword to be specific, I would like to take it off your hand if you don't mind, In return, I'll let you use as much money allowance as you needed," Erik told him.

"Erm...father if you don't mind me asking...but why do you need so many weapons? There are well over 300 enchanted swords." Leonard asked.

"Nothing much, I heard from your second brother who was holding the northern border reporting in some unusual movement from the Rosen Kingdom, he think that they prepare for a skirmish so he requested in some weapons to fight them off."

Erik told him.

"But why use the magical equipment? Couldn't you send in a crap ton of normal pieces of equipment?" Leonard asked out of curiosity.

"I've grown tired of those idiots in Rosen Leonard, I want to teach them a hard lesson, these magical pieces of equipment will be given to our elites so they can destroy those morons," Erik told him.

"Alright, they're all in my lab, just call someone in and ship them off," Leonard said.

"Alright, I'll call for someone to do that."

"Also father...could you ask for some servant to go out and purchase some magic beast parts? Blood flesh and bones will do and some plants and herbs as well, I've been running low on most of them," he asks Erik.

"Alright, I'll also get someone to do that."

"Good day then father." Leonard bows and then left, Mavis also followed along with him as well.
