16 chapter 16

As expected, Leonard was definitely NOT happy finding out that he got scam by the old man.

The price of the shitty dagger that Leonard made unexpectedly got jacked up over 150% of its original value.

No matter how frustrated he might be, all Leonard could do is swallowed it all down with some wine.

"That shitty old man, I swear I will get him back," he said in a whispering tone.

In the end, the one who got the dagger to happen to a rich merchant who has nothing else but money.

After the dagger was auctioned off, the auction house then quickly auctioned off one item after another.

"Alright everyone, the moment of truth has finally come, this is the final and last item for today event, the mystery that everyone " Lisa announced.

Finally, a servant finally brought the item in.

Leonard who was lazing peacefully within his box was enjoying the snack and wine that was offered to him when he laid his eyes on the supposedly last "item".

The wine glass slipped from his hand and shattered into tiny fragments.

This was because the servant actually dragged out an iron cage, what, or who was sitting in the cage was what blew his mind.

"No way...no fucking way…." cold sweats dripping down from his forehead as he laid eyes on the person.

"Alright everyone, allow me to introduce this product, this here is a demon that was captured by the Romani Empire, and we just happen to be lucky enough to get our hand on this item."

The hall was silent.

Leonard who was overseeing the entire event unfurled before his eyes were shaken.

"Short blond hair...blue eyes...pointy ears...slender body…and that beautiful face....." he whispered….

"Definitely an elf….how the fuck did these morons mistaken this one for a demon?!" he cursed silently.

"As you can see here, she has been bound with a slavery collar so she is 100% safe to handle."

Lisa announced loudly to the audience.

Again the auction house was silent.

This time Leonard was quite curious as to why it was so quiet, he queered down and look at one of the people in the audience, and he could see the shock, and fear on their very face.

They all just sit there, in their seat in shock.

"What is there to fear and shock about?" Leonard questioned deep down

"The starting bid for this demon is 1000 gold coins! And the minimum bid is 100 gold coins!" she yelled.

But once again, none of the audience dare to put up a bid for the elf woman.

Leonard noticed this and decide he wanted to take advantage of it all.

"1100 gold coins!" he yelled.

Then the entire hall went into an uproar.

"What?! Who actually dare to put a bid on a demon?!" they whispered.

"Doesn't he afraid of being curses?"

Words like those spread throughout the entire audience within the auction hall.

After he called out his bid, it saw like no one else dare to raise it.

The awkward silence lasted for half a minute.

Lisa Marcel, who was the host of the auction was put in a jammed position, in her entire life there was never a moment that it was this awkward.

Right now, she blamed everything on her uncle, the manager of Marcel company in Trier.

Sadly, all she could do now is just swallow down this embarrassment and just declare the winner of the bid.

"Well...ladies and gentlemen it is seen that the winner of this bid is the person from the VIP box."

She declared.
