The next day came, and once again the two armies lined up to face one another once more.
Leonard was definitely among the rank of the Evergreen army that's going to face off against the Rosen kingdom army.
Upon the hilltop outside the main camp of the Evergreen army, Leonard stood there to oversee the entire battlefield.
"Hmm...just where are those Trebuchet?" Leonard muttered under his breath.
"What are you talking about, Leonard?" then from behind him, his brother Vandal came up and talked.
"I'm just wondering where could those Trebuchet be…" Leonard told his brother.
"Trebuchet? Are you talking about the stone throwing device that the Rosen army is using against us?" Vandal asked him.
"Yes, that's the one….I just want those morons to see the little surprise I left for them when I infiltrate their camp." Leonard told him.
"What did you do Leonard?" Vandal asked him out of curiosity.
"Did you know that...the one hundred zombie knights that I brought to our camp is only half of the numbers of zombie that I controlled?" Leonard told him with a smirk on his face.
"Huh?" Vandal was surprised, he thought that controlling one hundred zombie knights was this little brother of his limit, however, he was wrong, he couldn't help but be extra surprised.
Back when Leonard was still inside the enemy camp, he secretly left to half of his minions' army to stay behind in the back when he notices the siege weapon that the Rosen kingdom has brought out to fight against the Evergreen army.
He makes sure that when the fighting began, his minion would be turned against those trebuchets and destroy them by surprise.
"Oh, there they are!" Leonard finally found the trebuchets, once again history seem to repeat itself just like the day before, the Rosen army makes their ways for the trebuchet.

The same old captain from yesterday now has a tense expression on his face.
"We will follow the plan, called out the cavalry, tell him to get ready for a charge, we will take those death machines as quickly as possible." the old man ordered.
The cavalry immediate went in front once more and took the charge before the siege weapon could be ready to be fire.

"Heh...those fools, they charge toward their death once more….ready the "Stone Punisher" quickly!" their field captain ordered, and quickly the knights who were responsible for manning the "stone punisher" quickly went to work by carrying large stone over to load the weapon, soon all of them was loaded and ready to be launch at a moment notice.
"Wait for them to come a bit closer." the field captain grinned.
When the Evergreen cavalry reached midfield.
"Cut it loose!" the field captain then ordered.

However, nothing happened, the cavalry still heading straight for them at high speed.
"What the hell-" *Puchi then suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his chest, he looked down with a horrified face.
He saw the trip of a blade protruded from his chest, blood slowly dripped, the blade has pierced his heart, the blade then was pulled out, now the captain could turn around to see the one who was responsible for putting a blade through his chest.
"Y-y-you….why…" he coughed out a mouthful of blood before he fell over, dead.
The death of their field captain by the hand of one of their own shocked the entire ranks.
"W-what the hell just happened?" one of the knights muttered.
"Rurrghhhhhhh!!!!!" the knight that stabbed the captain to death then let out a ragged roar.
Then the sound of blades slicing through the scabbard sounded out through the army.

The zombie knights that was placed inside the Rosen army has begun their attack and start causing chaos, some of them were focusing causing mayhem in the rank, while some other headed straight for the siege weapon and start sabotaging it.
Rosen army was in complete chaos as they witness their comrades killing one another before they knew it the Evergreen cavalry has reached them and cutting through their army.
"Everyone! Charge!!!! We shall end this war today! Do NOT waste this chance! Get revenge for what happened yesterday to our comrades!!!! GO GO GO?!!!!" the old captain of the Evergreen army shouted loudly and then lead the charges on the horse, immediately all the other ground troops charges along with him as well.
When the main troops reached the Rosen army, who was now a mess, they quickly slaughter their way up to their camp and capture it.
Outside the battlefield, where Leonard and Vandal were standing and overseeing the entire field.
Vandal looked at this little brother of his with mixed expressions.
With just a hundred zombie knights, he has caused mayhem within the enemy ranks, enough of a distraction for their troops to reach the other side and wrought havoc, capturing the enemy camp and their commander as a bonus.
"The enemy corpses will still belong to me right?" Leonard asked his brother that question.
"Oh- uh...yeah...the corpses will be yours." Vandal responded in a stuttering tone as he heard this little brother of his creeped him out with the corpses question.
"So Leonard...tell...when did you...erm...study such...a...evil type of magic?" Vandal asked him.
Leonard just looked at his brother and said.
"Vandal, there is no such thing as good nor evil, it's the few among mankind that determined what's good and evil," Leonard told his brother and then headed back to the camp.
Vandal, stood there to comprehend what his little brother of his has said.
Later that night after the fierce slaughter and mayhem caused during the day.
Leonard was in the middle of the battlefield to once more, trying to gather more death energy to create the death crystal for his advancement.
The process took longer than what he had expected, due to the sheer size of the battle.
The death and resentment gathered there was heavy, which is good for him, because of that he had gathered all the death crystal that he needed.
"Beautiful...this is just beautiful…." Leonard whispered as he held a linen bag contained the crystals and stored it in his inventory.
