13 chapter 13

After coming to a deal with the old manager Louis Marcel, he then informed that the auction will be held in a week and given Leonard a pass to the auction house.

He thanked the old man then left.

On the way out he met Edward once again.

"Bro! What did you and the old manager were talking about? Did he try to rip you off?"

"Hehe...he did try doing that by asking me to sell my recipe," Leonard thought but he replies differently.

"Maybe, but I did probably ask for a good price."

Well, any price in gold is good since the materials for making the darn thing is dirt cheap.

He thoughted.

Edward let out a sigh of relief.

"Well that's good to know...do tell me if he dares to try to rip you off, I'll make sure to rip him off too….with interest."

Leonard looks at this fatty with a pair of strange eyes.

"What? Afraid of not getting a share? Don't worry I'll take the interest while you can have your cash back." Edward reassures him.

They chatted for a bit, the fatty Edward mostly drooling over girls and money, there's nothing much other than that.

He then bid farewell to Edward and headed back to the castle.

Back in the castle, Leonard once again locked himself in his room and continued on cooking up more of the skin care medicine "Mud".

The process has really been slow since he did it with a small cooking pot.

"Should I get one of that big cauldron instead? This is really inefficient…."

However, he gave up on the idea because of one problem.

"I had no room left…"

He then looked at his stockpile of "Mud" jar he left on one corner of the room.

"Maybe I'll just buy a house outside just to do the cooking business…."

After he's finished cooking up the last batch of medicine, Leonard decided to move on into another subject.

"It's time to check out the magical equipment making process."

After extracted all the knowledge from the metal ball and assimilated it into his own knowledge, Leonard was now quite familiar with the process.

He opened the lid of a bucket that stored the gory materials ( Magical beast parts)

He picked up a piece of flesh and tossed on a metal tray along with many different kinds of herbs.

Then the ground all of these materials up into a paste.

Next, he pulled out his dagger.

He then grabbed a needle and dipped it into the paste.

He used the needle in place of a writing utensil and began drawing weird rune onto the dagger blade.

He was very cautious in the drawing process, it took him 10 minutes just to finish up this process of writing down just a few weird characters that don't resemble any form of language, it looks like gibberish to the common eyes.

"Now, that's done, time to move on into the more complicated process."

He extended his index finger, touching the blade of the dagger and began to channel into his "Magical power" that he gained a while back.

A weird phenomenon appeared after he channeled in his magic, the characters began to glow bright red then disappear from the dagger.

"Finally complete? I thought this thing would suck me dry! Making a small enchantment to a dagger actually took 80% of my magic…." he began to shiver when he imagine how much magic it would take to enchant something like a sword.

He picked up the dagger, now shined with a weird glow after he touched it, but then dimmed down.

He tossed the dagger at a stone wall, one would expect that the dagger would just bounce off the wall, however, the dagger now stuck at least 4 centimeters into the wall.

"Great, the enchantment work!" the enchantment that Leonard gave to the dagger increase it puncturing ability and nothing else, meaning now that if he were to stab this dagger into someone, even if that person were to wear armor, the dagger would likely go through it and injure him.

He pulled the dagger out of the wall with a bit of effort.

"I wonder how much this will goes for….."
