System that Rents Powers?

Only after living the life of a nobody will one be able to crave his or hers deepest desires. With that being said without power, "How can anyone achieve anything?“ This stands for anyone and everyone, even in those stories that tell a tale of a person that was born a talentless pig that turns around their destiny with enough hardwork and perseverance. Are they not in fact born with the gift of deep seated ambition and even further, the actual courage to seek out their desires.
