Another Quest!

Rito was back in his room! Although he was the most lazy person imaginable, anyone who got to know him would grow to like his character, which may be the key characteristic of the anime series' harem-type protagonist.

"Yo! Dinner is ready, buddy." Rito, upon hearing Itsuki, sat back and grinned slightly while scratching his head.

"Thanks, though, Aniki; there is something I want to talk about."

The guy looked pretty awkward at first, but soon was able to talk out about Haruna Sairenji, whom this guy had a crush on since a long time ago.

"Well, I do not think I have dated a girl before, but in your situation, I think that girl would agree to it, I suppose!"

Itsuki had watched the anime To-Love Ru numerous times, so he was confident that, in a world where they lived in the same universe, Haruna Sairenji would also have a crush on Rito and that there was a good chance she would accept his proposal.

"But, but...." Rito became flustered about it when hearing Itsuki's direct remark, at which Itsuki laughed a bit and continued...

"I say, brother, what kind of adoration is it if you can't even tell her your original feeling that you held back for so long?" "Just make sure that you do not confess to her in public or something; after all, she will feel pressure from the crowd."

After giving Rito some advice that Itsuki believed would be most helpful, he left the room, leaving Rito to sit there contemplating whether or not to heed his brother's advice.

'Buck-up idiot!' Clasping both of his cheeks, Rito looked a little confident as he stood up from his bed and walked out of the room to have some dinner.

Itsuki had already finished serving, and Mikan appeared to have started eating the meal. Her eyes were constantly darting to Rito and Itsuki, wondering what they had discussed earlier.

"It's nothing; I just wanted to ask something from Aniki." Rito could tell what Mikan was thinking about just by observing her inquisitive gaze. Rito muttered, but Mikan just 'hummed,' saying nothing further.

"Hehe, just think Rito is old enough to think more complicated things about relationships!" Rito was only able to look at his older brother with bitterness as Itsuki smiled and spoke, but it did not bother him because Mikan might have eventually discovered it on her own.

"Is that so? I must say it is a surprise coming from Rito. Though Itsuki-nii, I was chatting with Mona just now; do you want me to lend a helping hand there?"

This time it was Itsuki's turn to turn bitter as he almost coughed his food out, making Rito grin looking at him, and he asked Mikan for more juicy details.

"It's nothing; I just thought she was a nice friend to make that all there is to it." Rito was shocked to learn how big of a target his brother is attempting to set up with, and Itsuki's desire to cover that simply made Mikan laugh.

"Hmm, idol, huh! Aniki, good luck with her." Itsuki shook his head angrily at Rito's remark because, this time, he had revealed juicy details about the Sairenji case in an attempt to exact major revenge.

Though there was no mother or father present, the three of them did not seem to miss anything and were happy to be chatting and eating dinner together, even though the food was already getting cold as they chatted.

Even though it seemed like the system was now more against him, the chilling threat of his words was still very much present. Itsuki would never get used to something like this, even after so much has happened.

"So, how should I go and meet her?" Itsuki was unable to simply approach the girl and ask her if she wanted to have sex, and he was unsure of her location and the best way to get in touch with her at the time.

After receiving that message, the system stopped making noise, leaving Itsuki by himself in his room. He felt the irresponsibility of his system as he massaged his temple, but all he could do at that point was go to bed.

"Will she just appear from thin air or something?" Itsuki was getting a little impatient, as he really wanted to sleep at this moment, but with this task, he can't just take a nice long dream too.
