Chapter 5

Digging around she found quite a few Bear roots which made her happy, sensing oncoming danger she rolled to the right and saw a three-headed bear looked her way in rage. 'May the heavenly mother of angels have mercy on me' she thought as another swift swipe came her way causing her to roll again to doge.

Getting off the ground she had to quickly make a few steps to the left, the bear roared causing Dyllis to go deafen by the sound alone. Her world was spinning but she tried her best to focus on the three-headed bear, getting slash at once more as she dodges once again she lost her right arm causing her to shriek "AAAGHH" her inhuman cries cause the neighbouring beast to scatter.

Her arm slowly regenerated back as she lashes out with her claw-like hand. Her nails made contact with one of the bear head eyes causing the beast to shriek in pain and anger.

Going backwards she avoided a deadly swipe from the front, time passed as she dodges then swipes at the beast, getting injured quite a bit but her arm regenerated so she attacks with both hands, the bear looked in pretty bad shape as blood oozes from it wounds covering its brown fur.

Dyllis breathes heavily as she felt extreme hunger pains in her stomach which was almost unbearable. Her eyesight had improved so she can actually see the bear where it stood.

Lunging at the bear she tears at it hard flesh then lunges her foot to the gut of the animal causing it to whines out in pain once again, she backed away quickly as the bear tried to bite her head off 'Damn this thing is tough, I thought it would have bled out by now cause of all its blood lost' the bear tried to bite her again only to get it jaw kick having the razor-like nail digs into the skull of the bear causing that head to stop moving.

The other two heads roared in terror at their fallen brother, they quickly turned around and flea the scene letting out sorrowfully roars. Falling onto her knees she breathes heavily as she clenches her head as the headache lingers, her stomach roared in hunger 'don't worry mama will feed you just need to find a human' she thought to her stomach as she sniffed at the air.

'Human not just one but three humans' making her way to the feed source she saw very well equipped humans all three of them were male, they seem to be investigating something. The hunger nag at her mind but she pushed it aside to think of a plan to get one of their attentions, she put her makeshift bandana on her lower face to hide the less human features.

Walking out of the bush with a limp the other looked her way seeing the tattered looking girl who's clothing barely covered her modest parts, slashes could be seen on her body and clothes. One of them talked to the others before approaching her "Miss what happen to you?" a soft but tender voice came out of the muscular man which seem strange, he had a few scars on his face.

Dyllis pointed to her mouth and made an X with her hands trying to say she can't speak, him getting on what she meant nodded understanding before walking back to the group to ask for something for her to write with.

the man came back with a book and quill pen and passed it to her, writing down her 'lie' she showed him the book as he read out loud "I was attacked by a humanoid monster that was extremely pale, I manage to deal quite a lot of damage, causing it too fled and leave me alone in my sorry state."

Feeling sorry for the girl he offers her a potion of healing, she refused as she wrote some more "I am currently using my healing magic to heal myself so no need to waste it on me" she showed him the book again as he read, putting his potion away.

Looking closely at her eyes he found it strange as she had no pupils or iris and that the fact there was only black veins around her eyes "What's wrong with your eyes?" he asked causing her to flinch a bit before writing down in the book and showing him "I was cursed in my early teen years so I am reduced to this state, my curse also affected my mouth which is why I keep it covered up" he read aloud.

'Well that explains a lot' he thought, he took the book back and showed it to his friends, they had a look of pity before a lanky looking man with curly brown hair and blue eyes came up to her "I can walk you back home to make sure it doesn't come back after you" he offered, only causing her to smile evilly.

She nodded her head as she hides her intent to kill him, they walked quite a bit away with her leading him far away from the others when enough distance passed she fell over activating her plan. He came to help her back up with a thought in her head 'I am sorry but I will have to kill you or else I might slaughter everyone from that small town, please understand' she pulled down her bandana and bite into his shoulder blade.

he started to scream for her to only dig to sharp fingernails into his eyes as she pushes the rest of her fingers inside the person skull cause his screams to be short as she started munching away at his body before another thought came to her mind.

She ripped off his arm and left it on the floor then she pulled her clothes off and toss them onto the ground. she then strips the guy and put on his clothing and some padded armour, she pours some f his blood over where she threw her clothing then she picked him up and ran.

I can finish this when I get to somewhere safe to eat cause I don't wanna get caught by the other two. Finding a small but cozy cave she ate away at the lanky man flesh and organs leaving only a clean skeleton. Rubbing her belly in satisfaction the aching in her stomach went away as she stumbles out of the cave fully healed, putting her bandana back over her mouth she went back to the edge of the forest to wait for Tobca.

Waiting for quite a while she fell asleep only to be woken up by a constant shaking of Tobca, opening her eyes she saw the three, two-season flowers. Being so happy she kissed the water fae cheek causing Tobca to turn stiff at the sudden affection.

Leaving the pour fae in her state she ran into the broken-down town, it was sunset so a few people still walked the streets, Dyllis walked into the guild and gave the required items from the quest out of her cloth bag.

The attendant smiled as he counted all the required items then he paid her twenty-three copper coins.

Dyllis took them happily before heading back to the board to find another job. Grabbing another one off the board she brought it back to the attendant "Goblin nest?" he said curiously, she nodded as she pointed at the price since the people who put it up was willing to give two cooper coins pair each ear she collected from the goblins.

Smiling he stamp it in approval before speaking "You have one week to finish this quest" he warned her, she nodded as she left once more only to this time go to a clothing store.
