Chapter 3: New friend?

Dyllis and Tobca stayed in the cabin together since one Tobca is heavily injured and two Dyllis are too tired to keep on running to find civilization. That night the fae princess slept in the bed while Dyllis slept in the wooden tub that was in the Cottage, she got exp again but it was pretty delayed, Dyllis didn't mind this since the robotic voice rang in her head saying she levelled up which lead Dyllis to sleep with a smile on her face.

Dyllis found herself in a dark room with a tea set up in the middle of the room. Being curious she sat down on a cushion that was on the floor and poured herself some tea and drink it quietly. The world around her started to change colour as a large blue screen appeared. It had a list of names of people with a system, the common systems they had on there is the reincarnated system, Hero system and the Villian system.

There were others such as Nanomancers, Vampires systems and farming systems. Chuckling at the list of names she found her name on the very bottom of the list label as 'Low-grade Wendigo System' which explains the terrible lag of receiving points. After amusing herself a robotic voice came from right next to her ear "Hello host welcome to the systems leader bordars room" the robotic voice had a faint echo to it as if it was lagging.

Turning around she saw a female Ai that has a few bolts under her eyes, they were a red transparent being that seems to be more on the Female side. "So that's what this place is, I am assuming I can only access here when I am asleep correct?" Dyllis says with a look of wonder on her face, the transparent female took a while before replying "That's Correct host, I was told by my creator to explain a few things to you. They also said I can upgrade when the host becomes more powerful." The robotic voice explained

Dyllis nodded with a happy thought in mind "Can you tell me who your creator is?" Dyllis ask politely not expecting an answer. This time the Ai didn't lag "The creator of this world made me and also choose you to be the first since you were gonna be reborn in this world in the first place" The Ai said with a bit of passion while talking about their master.

It was a bit surprising for Dyllis to take it all in "Why me?" she couldn't help but ask, the Red transparent female voice lagged "Y-you hhh-had the most Cc-corrupted s-soul at the T-time" it explain despite it lag, well that made sense she thought. Since according to the folklore of the Wendigo one could become the monster by having a corrupted soul. Letting out a sigh as she thought how pitiful she was in her past life.

The Ai spoke again "It's time for you to wake up it has been three days since you have fallen asleep. I will send you a message to explain the System points" this drawn her out of thought as the world slowly turn dark like the abyss and her sight fading away.

Rubbing her eyes to get the tiredness out of them a huge growled came from her stomach startling her as it protested to be given food 'calm down, I know it's been a few days. I will feed you so hold your horses' she thought.

She Sluggishly climbs out of the wooden tub and made her way to the rest of the cottage catching a whiff of a human which made her almost go instantly mad with hunger cause her to rush to the source and munching down the flesh of a human severed torso. She licked the bones clean as humanity slowly came back to her, Tobca laughs at Dyllis sorry state "You slept quite a while weird one" She spoke in a mocking tone.

Blushing slightly at Tobca laughing, Dyllis Dead's heart made a single thud before going completely quiet once again. "I thought you would be starving so I went for a hunt so that way you wouldn't try to eat me once you wake up" The Fae explained as her dazzling purple eyes hold a sinister look.

Dyllis smiled sheepishly at the fae lady 'she ain't as dumb as I thought' Dyllis thought. Finally noticing a little chat bubble icon to the right of her eyesight, she opens it with her mind and there was a message saying she had levelled up 'Rewards for levelling up, 1 bronze ticket, 100 System points, unlocked Wheel of fortune, 1 escape mannequin' Dyllis smiled in delight seeing her rewards.

Closing that window another one pops up explaining System points 'Host can exchange items in the shop with System points it will verify the price range from 10-9000 system points. If you want to you can update the system for 9000 system points' that was the end of the message so she just closed the tab.

Her understanding of the little chat bubble is that the system is similar to a phone game. Tobca Looked at Dyllis weirdly as she smiled away like an absolute fool, she felt something pull at her heartstrings watching Dyllis act foolishly and weird. Strange the Fae thought to themselves at the weird feeling while seeing the disfigured girl in such a cheery mood.

Something about this cannibal girl amused Tobca, she was about to reach for her shoulder before Dyllis turned around to look at her and she titled her head to the side a bit confused to the outstretched hand "Can we travel together?" Tobca asks as she awkwardly puts down her hand.

Dyllis nodded happily before leaving with Tobca trialling right behind her. Noticing that the blue Fae was following her she started running through the forest with the blue girl right behind her, Dyllis hair flows in the air as she runs at her quickest paste hoping the fae girl can keep up with her.
