"Come on now, wake up... It's 7:00am already..You will be late!!!" Reena, Erin's mother almost shouted from the dining room.
'come on just 5more minutes'
"Eriiinnn" mum shouted interrupting my thoughts.
"yaa mum I am am awake I am awake!!"
'and here goes my peaceful sleep, huuh'
Erin Gem got up brushed her teeth and took a quick shower, after that changed into her school uniform.
'huuf, who set this system of taking bath so early in morning? even if taking bath with warm water you just feel so cold!! specially in the early winters!!'
"Here Erin, your breakfast, chew properly and be quick. It's almost time for your bus to arrive."
"yaa mumma.. : | "
"have you taken your project on which you were working late at night, sis?" nuha asked.
"noo, I almost forgot to! thanks nuha"
nuha smiled.
"aren't you going school today nuha? Oh your school will start a week after right!!"
"bye everyone!! I am off!"
"Do you want to give you a lift to the bus stop?" Denis, Erin's father asked.
"yes please" erin replied hurriedly.
'huuf, I am on time but there are a lot of students in the bus today, the bus is almost full. I guess that is to be expected since today school is opening after the autumn break. And class 8 also has to submit their assignment. The seat among my friends is full I guess I will be sitting some where else then.
hiii, I am Erin. I am 12 and study at golden high school in class 8. it's one of the two best school in the city. The other school is DPS our rival... These two are often compared to see which is better but one is good at one important thing while the others is good at important other thing so in the end it can't be said that which one is better.
Anyway I have a small family which has my sis Nuha, my mother Reena, my father Denis ans our pet parrot, maha. Nuha has kept it's name. Then among my gang of best friends we have Aisha, Ila, me, (girls) Jack, Sam and Nikhel (boys). Me , Jack and Nikhel are in std 8 while Aisha, Ila, and Sam are in std 7. I am in different class section from Nikhel and Jack, they are both in same class. Sam is also in other section from Aisha and ila. However except for the bus we all also some times meet after school. Being with them all at the same time is a fun thing. So, since I don't have them with me during my classes I am also close with others in my class. One of them being Katrine. We have a lot in common. So we often talk.She is a also a good friend of mine. Just she isn't a night owl or a deep sleeper like me. My favourite subject is Maths and science and worst well it's history. I also like painting and reading fantasy novels. And well..hmm....'
Just then. "everyone off the bus, school is here." the driver of the bus shouted.
'huh..? well let's go. HUHH!!? wait a sec why was I introducing myself to meee?!!
i shoud really stop talking to myself in my mind or else I will go crazy!!'
Everyone got off and started heading to their respective classes. Erin's group walked together before they parted ways. They chatted a little while walking.
"heeyyyy everyone!! how are you all?" Jack asked in his cheerly tone.
"I am fine" Sam replied with his focus buried in solving his 5×5 cube. he is a master in solving cubes. even the cubes of other shapes!
"I am fine as well" ila said with hopping in her each step.
"good"Aisha said. It was clear she was bored. She hates coming to school.
"everything is well" Erin said with her usual smile.
"everyone is just fine.. what about you dude?" Nikhel said with raping his large arm around Jack's neck. he was a lot taller than any of the others.
They gossiped a little more before saying their goodbyes.
"BYE EVERYONE" Erin shouted and ran off.
[In her class room.]
She went in her classroom and sat on her desk.
"hey Katrine"Erin said.
"hii Erin long time no see"
"hehehe"
"alright everyone quiet down now. I am taking attendance and respond properly." said Mr. Kumar our class teacher and our maths teacher.
"roll no. 1"
"present sir"
"2"
"yes sir"
"3"....
[after the maths class is over.]
"did you understand everything of the topic he taught?" Katrine asked.
"yess, I have already read and learnt it earlier, so it was a walk in the park to me." Erin replied.
"could you explain it later to me please???"
"ok"
[after the first four periods it was time for their lunch break]
"i didn't got time to ask, how was your vacation? anything special?"Katrine suddenly said as soon as the teacher stepped out of the classroom.
"Naa, nothing special. And yours Kat?"
"mine nither. Autumn break is always too short to go anywhere.
By the way did you watch xxxx autumn anime? it was amazing!!"
"yaa it was, infact, I watched all the autumn animes. And there are coming some more for winters. they also seem interesting.
But still I don't think any of them are better than 'that time I got reincarnated as a slime'. It is my favourite!."
"yup"
"ring..ring..ring" bell rang the break was over. And after 2 minutes the teacher enters the class.
"good morning children. Please submit your English assignment.
Those who haven't bought their assignment go and stand outside for the rest of English class." Miss Noor said . she is a strict teacher.
[after all their classes were over]
"huuf finally the school is over"kat said giving a big sigh.
"history class seems to be going like FOREVER.
Bye Kat, see you tomorrow."
"bye Erin, have a nice day."
Erin walks to her school bus which is bus no.17
'huh, it seems no one is on bus. they kept their bags here and went to the ground?'
"Erin you are late!" Aisha said.
"WHAT do you expect?! my class is on the top floor!"
When they are off the bus they usually form two groups in order to not to be crowded. Ila, Erin, Aisha in first group. the others in second group.
"hey do you know why those many men in same suits are standing outside the gate and also staring at the ground? me and Aisha has no clue." Ila asked.
"what, i didn't even notice them! they all can't be here just to pick up a student right?" Erin said
"aaaaahhhh" They all heard a scream and looked into that direction.
They all saw some strange looking thing which was around 2 metres high, has claws instead of hands and has two very strange looking feets which look like those won't be able to hold them on balance. Erin was thinking how he was even standing with such feets.
Soon more of them are coming falling from the sky.... . One even landed near Erin's group...
