Wang Lu and Wang Yue where indeed anomalies as the strength they had shown was somewhat beyond the expectations of most.
Entering the ruins the most important thing was survival, and it was not shocking that the way others looked at the two changed. Perhaps they would want to team up, but Wang Lu didn't have this plan. But some people where wondering what the Wang clan was thinking letting such talents into such a dangerous place before they have fully grown.
His goal was heading in the opposite direction of everyone.
Other opportunities will be sought after later, he couldn't be left behind by his peers in terms of the cultivation realm. Going in the Ruins this time was to make sure he could not just catch up, but also go further. He had the feeling his physical body was the answer.
As he looked up, he could see a massive tunnel-like pathway opening, with white cloud-like whirlpools spinning, and the size continued to expand until it reached the ground.
"Shit!" Wang Lu was indeed shocked by the development. He had seen a few things in the world and thought a few things could faze him, but now he had discarded these thoughts.
He couldn't help but feel he had been living under a stone, but the shock was not just on him. It spread all around, after all, everyone that had gathered here had never seen the ruins before.
Even though none of them had ever entered the ruins, just by seeing the happy expressions on their faces, it was already clear what they were thinking.
At this stage, it was no longer important to concern oneself with the demons, and thus everyone was waiting for the perfect opportunity to jump in.
Wang Lu's figure was not slow at all and appeared beside Wang Yue.
"Don't put much attention on these creatures anymore! The most important thing at the moment is to gain entry into the ruins." Wang Lu spoke as he looked at the entrance that was forming.
But even so, his artistic Conception has already covered the two of them. He didn't include anyone else as for why. That was obvious. He just was not sure that it would be a good idea, after all, if the ruins were in any way designed with space transfer, he might end up having to bear the pressure.
But he hoped the entrance wasn't that way. As he looked into the depths of the ruins, he could still see something like movement.
"Junior sister! Don't move three meters away from me!" Wang Lu didn't forget to pass on this warning, as he faced the emerging entrance.
As for approaching, that was impossible. He was still sober enough to wait, and this was not just his reaction alone. Unlike what anyone would expect the descendants of powerful clans were not ignorant fools.
Instead of rushing to make any moves, they all kept observing silently.
Only after the passage had completely stabilized, did they approach and it was also at this time that Wang Lu saw what seemed to be a figure floating in the sky above the entrance.
He didn't think it was a coincidence, but he quickly looked past the figure, seeing as how nobody seemed to have discovered him.
up in the sky, above the entrance, a figure was indeed present and when Wang Lu looked past him, he noticed. Wang Lu might think he was able to avoid being noticed, but the figure discovered it.
"Huh! Interesting!"
But the figure just found this interesting and nothing else.
Instead of focusing on this Wang Lu took Yue towards the entrance after witnessing a few a group of people pass through the entrance.
Feeling someone holding onto his clothes, he turned to see it was Wang Yue. After smiling at her, to reassure her, they walked into the entrance.
It was just that unlike what he was expecting, the ruins actually didn't separate them. The two of them appeared together with a group of people that had walked towards the entrance together.
"So this is how it is! We were sent in the same place as long as we entered at the same time." He thought silently, as he took Wang Yue's hand and retreated some distance.
Other than some familiar faces he had seen when walking together in the Wilderness, he knew no one else. But that was not all, the group wasn't the only ones having been sent in this place.
He could see differently dressed figures and even more importantly, he discovered some people with different hair and eye colors.
This didn't shock him much, but he was able to tell instantly that this group might have come from other regions oh the Central continent. That was to mean that they had come from another clan or faction.
Looking around, he could see that this ruin was no different from an independent world. The only thing that made his face confused, was that the architecture of this ruins didn't match the outside world.
Even though the buildings had already been infested by nature, he could still see some of the remains.
Instead of trying to get involved in conflicts, Wang Lu took Yue in the opposite direction and vanished from the groups range of activity.
"Based on the information I managed to gather, only be going into the depths of the ruins can the opportunities present for the strong appear. But in the same way, some unique treasures growing in this ruins useful for the body, can only be located in one place." As he thought of this, his pace didn't slow down in the slightest.
"Brother! Where are we going?" Wang Yue could feel the difference. The further they walked the baren it seemed, as the vitality in the air seemed to be fading.
But the more this happened, the excited Wang Lu was. He was clearly seeking a lot of resources to accumulate more energy in the body.
Wang Lu was already certain that his injuries had delayed his process of practicing and even weakened his body
But if he could get some resources and use them to recover his flesh body, it might be beneficial.
The other important thing was that perhaps he might be able to save Wang Yue a lot hardwork as long as she had enough resources.
She had yet to experience marrow cleansing, and this step was obviously going to require a lot energy and time. But having one could save on the other.
The moment she completed her marrow cleansing, perhaps she might even be able to practice even faster than before.
"Lets move further!" The place they were located had already become barreen and Wang Lu had bright light in his eyes.
He had read more about resources and their nature, as such he wasn't shocked by the nature of this environment.
Good resources and treasures had the ability to not only devour vitality, they turned even land around then barren.
It was also for this reason you couldn't locate more than one heaven and earth treasure in the same place.
"There is definitely something good around here!" He laughed as he looked around.
