Get Ready Hogwarts

Over the next few months, I gave Lily the basic information on Wizarding Britain, the Ministry, Hogwarts, and why she can't tell her parents about magic until her letter comes. I was with her on her birthday when a brown barn owl flew down to her, while we were in front of her house talking. When she read the letter she asked the owl to wait, in reply the owl hooted as if saying "I know how to do my job". After Lily wrote her reply and sent the owl off, she talked to her parents. They thought it was a prank until I snapped my fingers, and a ball of flames appeared. They were hesitant, but I told them a professor would come and answer all their questions. I didn't see Petunia this whole time, she must have been wallowing in jealousy. 

When I was at Lily's house a few weeks later, she told me I missed it when a stern looking professor McGonagall came, and took them to diagon ally. Lily was so happy when she showed me her wand, but I had a surprise for her.

Flashback

I made my way over to Lily, who was reading a book on basic charms, in her living room

Hadrian:"Lily come with me"

She looked like she was annoyed about being taken away from her magic book. I led her back to her room, where I pulled out a matchbox, I taped it with my wand, and it became a briefcase. I opened it, and gestured for her to go down the ladder. She looked amazed the the piece of magic.

After we made our way down, she started asking what this place was

Hadrian:"this is where I make wands'

I pointed to my bench, that had a few unfinished wands, then to the shelves lined with fancy boxes, that held finished wands. I can literally see the magically aura, of the wands, so when I come across a potential owner, I can ask them to try it.

Lily:"why did you bring me here?"

She was confused because she already has a wand

Hadrian:"I brought you here so that I can make you a custom wand, that your magic chooses!"

Lily:"but I already got a wand from Ollivanders"

Hadrian:"my wands, are made using very rare, and exotic ingredients. You should always have a backup wand, along with a primary. The one I make is going to be your primary"

She didn't argue, and accepted my gift

Hadrian:"go over to the woods and close your eyes, let your magic tell you which one to pick"

She did so, and surprisingly took 2 woods, Ebony, and Rowan wood. Best for Transfiguration and Charms. She did the same with the cores. She chose a heartstring from a chinese fireball. Best for powerful spells. 

I took her ingredients over to my bench and got to work, as Lily was watching over my shoulder impatiently.

It took a while to combine to woods, but after that I inserted the heartstring into the wand, and sealed it. I carved a chinese fireball onto the whole of the wand in black, as it contrasts with the brown color of the wand. I carved runes onto the handle for strength, loyalty, and power. After I was done I handed it over to Lily.

Hadrian"I need your to take this knife and smear blood onto the handle"

Lily went wide eyed at the word of blood

Lily:" why?" 

Hadrian:"For the bonding agent, when the blood is absorbed into the runes, only you will be able to use this wand, and it strengthens your connection"

She smeared the blood on the runes, and as she was done the wand glowed, and a dragon patronus jumped out of the wand and looked at Lily. She was looking amazed, and not scared, as any normal person should be. The Dragon also seemed to be impressed, as it frew over to Lily, and connected their foreheads. Then the Dragon disappeared in white mist.

Lily:"What was that!"

She had a tear escape, her eye, but had a smile on her face

Hadrian:"The essence of the Dragon whos heartstring is in your wand, has accepted you as it master"

This is because of adding the blood to the wand

End Flashback

I already ordered robes from Madam Malkins, made out of the finest material I might add, so I didn't have to go to Diagonally. I also had the elves go and get all of my equipment along with a 3 compartment trunk. It was made completely out of Snakewood, which my Father, Salazar's wand was made out of. I hand Dragonhide added for protection, along with deep blue edges, for my Mother's' House. I placed a multitude of protective measures on the trunk including blood, and parseltongue wards.

I had received my Letter at the beginning of the summer, but didn't bother reading it I just sent my letter stating that I would attend. They must have been shocked when they saw my name in the Book of Admittance. Well I will just be spending the rest of the summer with Lily, along with experimenting with wands. 

Hogwarts Headmasters Office

Dumbledore's POV

The coming school year is approaching, and Tom is starting to make his moves, to make himself known. I also need to decide what to do with a prospective first year.

Hadrian Slytherin Ravenclaw

An heir to the founder hasn't been seen in hundreds of years. This child must be the reason I have lost my control of the wards. A little over a year ago, my connection with Hogwarts was severed. I cannot allow another Dark Lord to rise. I must steer this child towards the Light.
