71 Sorting Ceremony

Agilbert was leading Harry, Jasmine, Felicity, and Thomas, wherein the background the bell was ringing by his instructions to gather all the students after their lectures for this unexpected sorting ceremony.

His own decision baffled him as he was 'persuaded' by Jasmine and Felicity

He could understand why Jasmine wanted Harry to join the school for a month in special training, but Felicity insisted too? She sure doesn't fancy this young man, right?

Agilbert looked back to show the smiling young man talking happily with both of the girls.

He was even more surprised when Thomas insisted too. He couldn't understand what this senior man was thinking. He mysteriously replies, "You will know in the future how great this contribution will be!"

Actually, Thomas agreed because he misunderstood and thought Harry had no magic power just like Sara and so he had awakened it with potion so it would be good to teach him. Besides, it would be a good reputation for America in the future that Harry also came here to study from England!

Alas, he didn't know that no one would ever know about Harry coming here to study as he had used the artifact.

Currently, they are moving toward the great hall. If Harry wanted to study here, he has to sort in one of the houses first.

Harry asked them both, but they didn't tell him how the sorting ceremony proceeded. Their reply was simple, "You will know when we get there!"

Harry got curious, even if it was just a little bit.

Seventy-year students had no lessons as today would start the special training program.

The other year's students were moving toward the entrance hall as their lectures had just ended while talking and wondering why everyone was called here.

The sorting ceremony was held at the entrance hall, while new students are sorted in the houses the old once would watch them from the upper balcony while encouraging and cheering for the new students.

Harry, in the middle of the trio, reached the entrance hall. He was awed as he entered. The students had already taken their place as they stood in four different groups.

Harry knew from the system that it was similar to Hogwarts but the ceremony and the houses were different.

The hall was filled with murmurs of the students but it stopped when the headmaster arrived. Harry nodded his head as the people in position had a presence that allowed him to say many things without speaking.

Still, a few students were pointing towards the girls next to him and talking to their friends, as Harry thought that the girls were really famous. But, he felt gazes, like the one when he went through the first floor of his company- It was envy.

Harry smirked as people wanted to take his place or just remove him from the girl's side. He became bold as time went so now, to make people more envious he drew both girls toward him. Jasmine and Felicity were surprised by Harry's sudden movement but they didn't resist it. Jasmine was embarrassed as she was looking at the ground. The few envious gazes turned to a murderous one, but Harry ignored them and talked with girls as if other things weren't worth his attention. But, the girls wanted to stand beside Harry.

The headmaster steps forward and the pin drop silence has covered the hall. "Due to some special reasons and events, we have a new student joining us for special training. Let's welcome him for the sorting ceremony."

*Clap* *Clap* *Clap*

The girls who were fascinated and charmed by Harry was the first one to welcome him. And soon, all the girls were clapping to welcome him!

While boys have a sullen face, and only a few of them were eager to welcome him.

Harry gave them a charming smile and waved his hand toward them.

Lots of 'oh' and 'ah' filled the hall with girls exclaims.

He stood near the headmaster, but the sound of clapping didn't stop so the headmaster had to wave his hand to silence them, but still, the enthusiasm of girls was an all-time high, and it only stopped when Harry copied the action of the headmaster.

The mouth of the headmaster twitched, 'Am I the headmaster, or is he?'

Harry nodded and smiled, and once again the hall was filled with various exclaims of girls.

The headmaster cleared his throat and pointed to Gordian Knot on the floor in the center of the entrance hall. Harry didn't know how things would follow but he would tackle how it came. He walked and stood in the middle of the hall. He was facing four carved wooden statues, which Harry thought represented four houses.

Harry looked at the statues and found it was four different animals.

The first one was a snake with a horn, named-Horned Serpent house.

The second one was a cat with gem-like yellow eyes, named- Wampus house.

The third one was a mighty bird, named-Thunderbird house.

The fourth one was a familiar creature with the same name as the house, named- Pukwudgie.

"Now the house will choose you," the headquarters said.

Harry had no idea how it would happen so he waited.

To his surprise as soon as the headmaster finished it, the Horned Serpent carving's forehead started to glow.

The headmaster nodded his head, while girls from the horned serpent, started to cheer, especially 7th years.

The system is meanwhile informed him by collecting data, "Horned Serpent sometimes considered representing the mind of a witch or wizard. It is also said that Horned Serpent favors scholars." Harry nodded his head in understanding.

"You will now be part of..." the headmaster trailed off as the glow intensified and even the horn started to glow. He was shocked as it didn't happen in a long time. The brighter glow represents the intensity of the house that wanted to accept the student.

So, the horn glowing means he was the best wizard for the house.

The headmaster was thinking, while he got another shock as the Thunderbird carving started beating its wings!

Another house was selecting him!

It happens sometimes as a wizard or witch is talented so more than one house will select them, and the student can choose one of them.

Soon all four wings of the Thunderbird started beating wildly!

It was the same as last time, like a snake it never beat all four of its wings!

Only for the few, it did so in history!

Now the girls are from Thunderbird started cheering loudly. Jasmine also clapped delightedly as it was her house too.

The system informed Harry about the house, "Thunderbird sometimes considered to represent the soul of a witch or wizard. It is also said that Thunderbird favors adventurers."

"Adventure? Definitely!" Harry grinned as he heard the message.

The sound of cheering didn't subside when the Pukwudgie carving raises its arrow to the highest point!

The third house!

In the long history of the school, only two people before were selected by three houses!

The silent girls of Pukwudgie House are now started cheering happily!

The headmaster was shocked beyond the words!

He was muttering something like a 'legendary wizard', and his eyes were glowing.

Thomas, who hated him, was also looked happy by the development.

While the girls of three houses were cheering for him, he checked the information, "Pukwudgie sometimes considered representing the heart of a witch or wizard. It is also said that Pukwudgie favors healers."

"Ah, Felicity must be in this house," thought Harry.

He was enjoying the attention he was getting while standing in the center of the hall when the Wampus carving roared and it followed with a higher intensity roar.

The hall became the pin drop silence!

Everyone was looking at Harry as if he was a monster!

All four houses selected him!

When the hall was silent, the system told him about the last house, "Wampus sometimes considered to represent the body of a witch or wizard. It is also said that Wampus favors warriors."

The headmaster had unknown light passing through his eyes as he looked at Harry. In the history of the school, there was never a case of all four houses selecting a wizard or witch!

He looked at Thomas with respectful eyes as he was the one who told him to do so.

The headmaster cleared his throat and spoke in a cheerful voice, "The first time in history! All Four Houses! The houses have made their decision, and now it is your turn to choose one of them."

The silent hall is now filled with cheers and shouts—mainly girls, asking Harry to join their house.

For Harry, it wasn't a big deal and at the same time people wouldn't remember it, but he had one fantasy. It was when he was with Kristine, then he realized it. He unwittingly looked at Jasmine as she was also looking at him too, and from his passive ability liquid luck, he knew what he needed to choose.

Without hesitation, he took a step toward Thunderbird House!

Jasmine standing behind him jumped in delight!

All the girls from Thunderbird House shouted loudly for Harry while other girls were dejected but thinking they still have chance made it better and started cheering him too, so he might notice them in the crowd, while all the boys of Thunderbird House had a sullen face.

The headmaster didn't stop the cheering as he knew it would be pointless so he let them do it for a while.

When everyone stopped it, he spoke again, "So this sorting ceremony has ended. Now, the students from first to six years should go back to their classes and the seventh year students should head to the main hall were your first lecturer for the special training will begin."

All the students started leaving, but the boys were the first, while all the girls wanted to take more peaks at Harry!

Harry went back to the girls, and Jasmine came running and hugged his hands between her soft breasts. Harry smiled, seeing her in a happy mood, too.

"You just created history, you know!" exclaimed Felicity. Harry just nodded his head while smiling.

The headmaster and Thomas also came. They went back to the office as they had some other business to talk about.

Felicity also needed to prepare for the lecture so she left behind Jasmine and Harry.

"So, it just you and me now," said Harry. "Right, what is the first lecture?"

Jasmine had a red face from the excitement, "The first lecture? It is an Apparition!"

Apparition!

Harry was always envious of his house-elf for this ability-Apparition, and now finally he was going to learn, Apparition!
